31: Fighting Makeup
Xu Wen didn't dare to hit her at home, and since she was going to the Peninsula, she might as well give her a souvenir. After much thought, she still felt it was better to 'hurt' her a little.
Who told her to make her so angry this morning? She couldn't stand not letting off this steam. Anyway, her little sister was resistant to beatings.
"Hahahaha!"
"What are you laughing at? You've been laughing the whole way. Aren't you done yet?"
"Right, right, right, a face beaten into a chicken's butt."
"You like it? Do you want me to give you both a matching one?" She slapped each of them hard. They were just asking for it, weren't they quiet now?
Her older sister was really something. She clearly knew Xu Zhiyou had friends outside, yet she still went for her face, saying it was to prevent others from saying she had plastic surgery, and that she'd record the beating as evidence.
Such a thoughtful sister, Xu Zhiyou really couldn't handle it. She habitually rubbed her nose, "Ow! Holy crap, it hurts so much."
"Hahahaha!" The two of them were really trying hard to hold it in. They could have, but seeing the other passengers trembling and trying to suppress their laughter, they really couldn't take it anymore.
When they laughed, everyone around them started laughing. Such a beautiful face with a pair of panda eyes was a bit much for people to handle.
"Laugh, laugh, laugh, go ahead and laugh, no loyalty! Hmph~"
"No, look in the mirror first before you say anything. Your sister hit you so evenly. A pair of panda eyes, plus two blush marks, and a touch of red on the tip of your nose. From a distance, it looks exactly like clown makeup."
"Is it that good?" This trick could be learned. Beating people also required artistry.
At the time, she only took a quick glance and ran. If she didn't run, she would have been beaten even harder, so she didn't pay much attention.
She pressed the call button for the flight attendant, who started to speak but was also amused by her appearance. "Just laugh if you want to. I'm not going to complain about you. It's making me uncomfortable. But after you laugh, can you give me a mask? No problem, right?"
"No problem, but we've received professional training, so we generally don't laugh."
"Tsk! If you're so capable, then don't bite your lip! I'm really speechless."
The flight attendant brought a mask and handed it to her, then quickly ran off. That's right, ran. If she really laughed at a passenger, would she still have her job?
"Now? Can't tell, right?"
"The dark circles are quite cute, haha!"
"Park Chaeyoung, this is only because we're on a plane. Otherwise, I'd definitely give you a pair, do you believe me?"
"I believe you, I believe you! Haha~"
They chatted and joked all the way, and soon returned to the dorm. When they arrived, Kim Ji-soo and Kim Jennie were watching a 2NE1 concert video.
The two of them had heard the three of them shouting early on; lead vocalists generally have loud voices.
As soon as they looked up, they saw Xu Zhiyou's unique look. "Is this a new makeup style? Such heavy dark circles!"
"Hahahaha~"
Park Chaeyoung and Lisa's sudden laughter made the two of them a bit confused. "What makeup style? Jisoo, do you think someone as lazy as her would put on makeup?"
"That's true. So, did you go fighting again? You YG Honey Badger, when will you get rid of that bad habit of getting into fights?"
When Xu Zhiyou heard that idiotic nickname, she was truly grateful. "Which bastard gave me that nickname? Why am I the YG Honey Badger?"
"The company started spreading it without you knowing. I thought you already knew?"
"I know your mother!"
Kim Jennie pulled down her mask, looking at her puffy cheeks. "Tsk, tsk, tsk!"
"Jennie Kim, what do you think?"
"Do you like having meat on your cheeks so much? This artificial Dumpling face looks pretty good, it's just too red."
"Dumpling Ni!"
"Dumpling You!" Kim Jennie wasn't to be outdone and even pulled out her phone to take a few pictures of her as a souvenir.
"What are you doing?"
"Taking pictures!"
Damn it, didn't she know it was a photo? This was too disrespectful!
This Dumpling Ni, who usually liked to cover half her face with her hair and didn't even dare to order food over the phone. She never expected her to learn how to tease her; it was truly rare.
"Aren't you curious who hit me?" As soon as she walked in, the two of them kept laughing and didn't ask what happened.
"With Chaeyoung and Lisa looking so happy, and you just happened to go home, do you even need to ask?"
"Jisoo, before you speak, please stop rolling your eyes so much. Be careful of cataracts."
"You're the one with cataracts. But I am curious what you did to make your Unnie hit you so hard."
"It's just an itchy hand! What else could it be?"
"Do I look like an idiot to you?"
"You are!"
"Yah!"
"Hmph!"
Xu Zhiyou was submissive in front of her older sister because her fighting power was inferior, so she had to lie low. Little Kim Ji-soo was easily handled.
Kim Ji-soo wasn't angry either. If Xu Zhiyou suddenly became obedient, then they would have to be on edge.
"Chaeyoung, you guys know, right?"
Park Chaeyoung recounted what happened, but she concealed important information like Xu Zhiyou's academic background. She was waiting to see Kim Ji-soo and the others make fools of themselves, so she couldn't say anything.
"So you're really leaving the company? Why?"
"Didn't I already say? Just in case."
"Uh! Actually, you don't really need to be so cautious. If the CEO wanted to fire you, he would have done it long ago, not waited until now."
"Let's not talk about that for now. I brought you a lot of delicious food. Eat first, then we'll talk!"
She took out the roasted duck, spicy strips, snacks, and various other treats she brought back from China, letting them choose.
As soon as Park Chaeyoung extended her evil little hand, Xu Zhiyou slapped it away. "What are you doing? Can't I eat?"
"Have you forgotten what you two said? You have such a big nerve! Your skin is thicker than mine. Ptooey~"
"If I don't eat, I don't eat. I don't care!"
"Then you might as well control your gaze and stop looking over here. Also, it's not that I won't let you eat, but tomorrow on the scale, I'm afraid you'll cry, and then I'll have to comfort you, which is troublesome!"
"You're the one who cries! When have I ever cried?"
"Who was it, late at night, not sleeping, in the hallway, 'Mommy, I'm so tired, boo hoo~'"
"Yah! Don't say it. If you say it again, I'll really get angry." Park Chaeyoung quickly covered her mouth, afraid of being laughed at. She specifically hid, but was still heard.
It was bad enough that she was heard, but then it was spoken out loud. Did Park Chaeyoung have no shame?
"So what if you cry? It's not a big deal. Which one of them hasn't cried?"
"Not me! I'm the eldest sister, how could I possibly cry?"
"Stop pretending. I'm too lazy to even talk about you. At least others cry in the dorm. You, on the other hand, run out to the main road and squat there. I was worried you'd get abducted."
"Yah! I didn't." Kim Ji-soo also bristled a bit. Crying at her age was indeed a bit embarrassing.
Park Chaeyoung still knew she could call home for comfort, while the other three would only hide and cry by themselves.
This couldn't be blamed on them. Kim Jennie had lived independently since childhood, a perfectionist who was quite strong-willed. Kim Ji-soo was the youngest in her family; her parents were emotionally reserved, caring but never expressing it verbally, leading to little communication.
Lisa came from a blended family. Her parents divorced, and she had a stepfather, which further developed her self-reliant mindset.
