148: Unexpected Disaster Bae Suzy

Bae Suzy didn't know the online comments had turned on her until Lee Ji-eun called her.

"Yeoboseyo! What's up?"

"Suzy! You're trending online again, hahahaha~"

"How boring. I haven't had any schedules lately, where would I be trending? Could it be that my beauty is being hotly discussed again? That would make sense..."

Lee Ji-eun, on the other end, was speechless. She's being narcissistic again. "Stop! Go online and see for yourself. You might really offend someone."

"I'll check!" With Lee Ji-eun saying that, she started to take it seriously. After reading, she put down her phone, utterly despairing.

"Suzy, are you listening?"

"Zhien, what kind of luck do I have? They're tearing each other apart internally, and I still get dragged into it. What kind of mess is this? Wuwuwu~"

"Pfft hahahaha~~"

"Yah! Lee Ji-eun, you're still laughing? Do you have a heart? Meng Jia-oni already doesn't like me, and now this happens. Do you want me to die?"

"Suzy! You can't blame them. They were quite supportive of you at first. Who told your fans to be so unique? 'One-on-three,' 'backup dancers,' 'holding you back'..."

"Yah! Shut up! It's not like I instigated it."

"But you're the beneficiary!"

Bae Suzy was furious after hearing that. "Whose friend are you? We're breaking up."

"Actually, when your group was formed, she was the one they were pushing. She's naturally proud and arrogant. It's already good that she didn't target you."

"Sigh! I can't help it. Who can control fame? I didn't want this either. Alright! I still need to apologize. I'll talk to you later."

"Didn't you say you'd introduce me to Zoe? She's back now. When can you introduce us? I still want to collaborate with her."

"Introduce my ass. I'm already in a mess myself. Gotta go!" This was all Xu Zhiyou's fault. She had to call her and complain.

"Hey, hey, hey! Hurry up..."

Lee Ji-eun listened to the beeping sound from her phone and felt incredibly frustrated. "Aish! How dare she hang up on me."

"Zhien, what are you doing?" Bae Zhonghan went out to coordinate with the film crew and came back to see his artist cursing.

"Nothing, Suzy hung up on me."

"Alright! The director said this place still needs..."

Bae Zhonghan knew they were friends and didn't bother to interfere. As long as it didn't delay work, Lee Ji-eun could do whatever she wanted.

Bae Suzy called everyone individually to apologize. After apologizing, she slumped. "Sigh! What kind of mess is this? How did it end up on me?"

She thought for a moment and called Xu Zhiyou for comfort, but felt even worse when she couldn't get through. She was left alone, feeling dejected.

Park Jiyeon felt a little sorry for Bae Suzy after seeing the news online, but compared to feeling sorry for her, it seemed she was the most pitiful one.

"Ji-yeon, what's wrong?"

"Nothing! By the way, Lee Juri, Unnie, how was your chat with Zoe?"

"It was alright. She's quite easy to talk to, but she doesn't like to meddle in other people's business. I also mentioned the song to him..."

"How was it?"

"She said Soyeon and Boram have both left. Is T-ara still T-ara? She doesn't want the songs she writes to benefit MBK Company. Sigh~"

"So if we can get back the T-ara brand and get Boram-oni and the two of them back, will she write songs for us?"

"More or less!"

"Then we'll get back the T-ara brand and bring Boram-oni and Soyeon-oni back. We have no other choice anyway."

"Ji-yeon! It's too difficult."

"Unnie, we must get the T-ara name. As long as Zoe is willing to write songs for us, we will definitely become popular again. This is our only way out."

Park Hyo-min also thought Ham Eun-jung was right. "Lee Juri, Unnie, I think Eun-jung, Unnie, is right. The songs Zoe writes now come with their own popularity. If we get them, we will definitely become popular again."

"But can we get it?" Lee Juri didn't believe MBK would give them the T-ara brand. It was truly too difficult.

Park Jiyeon saw her so dejected and didn't want to blame her. After going through so much, anyone would be disheartened.

"Lee Juri, Unnie, Zoe herself doesn't like to meddle. If we don't show some ambition, why should she use her hard work and fame to sponsor us?"

Park Hyo-min also agreed with Park Jiyeon. They really had no reason to pay attention to them. Her willingness to compromise was the greatest kindness.

"That's right! Lee Juri, Unnie, what else can we do when things are already like this? Cheer up."

"Alright! After the contract expires, we'll sue MBK to get back the T-ara brand." Lee Juri saw how hard they were all working and had no reason to back down.

The three of them felt relieved after hearing that. As long as Lee Juri stood up, there was hope. They could understand Xu Zhiyou's thoughts.

From Xu Zhiyou's perspective, writing a song only to have it controlled by MBK in the end, and possibly having MBK use her songs to gain popularity, was not ideal.

Whether the performing rights would even go to T-ara was another matter entirely. Since they had no autonomy, it was incredibly disadvantageous, and she might even feel upset herself.

Xu Zhiyou happened to return home at midnight. The next day, she went fishing with Old Heo, not bothering to care about outside matters.

The entertainment industry was just a means for her to fulfill regrets and make quick money. She truly didn't care if she made it big.

After spending a few days fishing at home with Old Heo, she received a call to return for variety show filming. Before leaving, Old Heo was incredibly reluctant but still let her go back.

Upon returning, seeing that the variety show was still "Weekly Idol" felt strange. The only variety show she had ever participated in was "Weekly Idol," and now her first one back was still it.

"What's wrong? Hurry up and watch! Our variety shows without you flopped before. Now we should be able to become popular, right?"

Kim Ji-soo thought about Golden Fishery and other variety shows she had participated in before. The ratings were dismal, of course, when compared to "Weekly Idol."

"It didn't flop. At least "RM" was good. Chaeyoung's one line about 'taking a shit'..."

"Yah! It would have been better if it flopped! Who told you to explain it so badly? I haven't even settled the score with you yet. It's too much." Park Chaeyoung recalled unpleasant memories.

During that time, she wished she could have killed Xu Zhiyou. That foul mouth was truly something else, causing her to trend online for so long. Later, when participating in variety shows, everyone would bring it up, which was incredibly frustrating.

Lisa remembered the prank host making Park Chaeyoung blush and get flustered, which made her happy. "Chaeyoung! That episode of RM was your highlight. What's there to be dissatisfied about?"

"Yah! Lalisa."

"Hahahaha~~"

...

Arriving at the recording studio, since they had recorded one episode before, everyone went straight to the topic and started recording. Anyway, with Xu Zhiyou there, nothing could go wrong.

After a round of introductions, Jeong Hyeong-don began to cut to the chase: "Ever since 'Weekly Idol' became famous, subsequent variety shows have directly died out..."

Although it was meant to be funny, Kim Ji-soo and the other four felt frustrated. In fact, it was true; they were mostly lukewarm.
