24: Fighting again
Walking into the meat section, she grabbed a large pork hock, two steaks… After picking out her food, she found a random seat and started to feast.
She ignored the occasional bowing and greetings from others around her. Being good-looking certainly had its privileges; people couldn't even get angry when they saw her face.
That was until three ruffians entered, their eyes immediately glued to Xu Zhiyou.
She was a naturally beautiful woman, with a delicate face, an amazing figure, and an innate aristocratic aura. From the moment the three men walked in, their gazes never left her.
Their stares made her uncomfortable, but she decided to tolerate it for now. She preferred not to resort to violence if possible; she wasn't a maniac.
“Hey! Junior, don’t you know to bow to your seniors?”
“Get lost! Don’t interrupt my meal.”
She thought, 'Bow to your mother!' Besides her own elder sister, when had she ever bowed her head to anyone else?
Before she could react, her food tray was slapped away. 'Damn your ancestors!' She wiped the grease off her clothes with a tissue and slowly stood up.
“So, what do you seniors intend to do?”
“You’re a newly debuted artist, right?”
Xu Zhiyou didn’t even glance at him, which clearly annoyed him. “Hey!”
“Speak your mind if you have something to say, stop blabbering!”
She was using Park Sandara’s card, borrowed from Kim Ji-soo, so she tried to avoid trouble if possible. If it were any other time, her iron fist would have already landed.
“I’ll give you an opportunity to climb the social ladder.”
He said, handing her a room card. Xu Zhiyou took it, saw the name of the XX Hotel and XX room number, and thought, 'What the hell?'
She couldn't even enjoy a meal without encountering such nonsense. Looking around, everyone else chose to be spectators.
She had hoped for a handsome hero to rescue her, but in the end, she still had to rely on herself. It really was true that one had to be strong on their own; mountains crumble, and people run away.
“Brother, should we help her? Those three are not good people.”
“Let’s just watch for now.”
“But…”
“We don’t have any connections and it was hard enough to debut, don’t meddle in other people’s business,” another companion suddenly said.
The others remained silent. Indeed, they couldn’t afford the cost of meddling.
“Remember, be there on time tonight.”
Xu Zhiyou hated people like them the most. Remembering the indignity of her previous life, her fists clenched and then relaxed. She held back, thinking, 'Worst case, I’ll just throw it away.'
“Didn’t you hear me? Aish, you bastard!”
Oh, for crying out loud, I've had enough! She silently bent down and picked up the food tray from the floor.
She gave a cold laugh, and the other person was momentarily dazed by her face. Just as he was about to say something, she slammed the food tray into his face.
With a 'smack' and a piercing scream, the food tray shattered. While they were still stunned, she hit the other two as well.
Clutching their faces, they lay on the ground, swearing profusely. “Aish, you bastard, I’ll kill you…”
Hearing this, Xu Zhiyou became even more furious. She jumped over and started relentlessly beating the three of them. Although she regularly practiced martial arts and combat, she hadn’t had much actual combat experience.
She usually just took beatings from Xu Wen, so her offensive awareness wasn’t great. She accidentally got hit, and her lip grazed her teeth, breaking the skin slightly.
“You bastards, what kind of trash are you? I won’t beat you to death, but you’re not even qualified for ‘special treatment’!”
“Ah! You crazy woman, we are from XXX, how dare you hit us!”
“Watch me dare.” Her blows were even more vicious than before, each one precisely landing on their faces.
She was one against three young, strong men, and only had a scraped lip, which was quite good. The three on the other side were in a much sorrier state.
The broken tray was awkward to use, so she threw it away and stretched her knuckles. Last time, she hadn't been careful and twisted her hand, which hurt for days.
“You three bastards, I’m going to beat you to death.”
She used everything she had ever learned, but she was out of practice and kept missing. She had been slacking off; it seemed she really needed to study seriously, as she always suffered losses at crucial moments.
When Xu Wen pulled strings to send her to the army for training, they treated her gently because she was cute, so she learned nothing.
She did enjoy shooting, though; she paid for it, so why not have fun?
The three men were beaten until they couldn't stand up. Even though they couldn't stand, she didn't stop. The worst that could happen was being repatriated; she had to vent this anger.
“Hiss! Damn it, my hand hurts from hitting them.” She looked around and saw a mop in the corner.
She stepped on it, breaking it, and then weighed it in her hand. “It’s a bit light.”
It was good that no one came forward to stop her. If someone had tried to intervene while she was beating them, she would have beaten them too.
They didn't show up when she was being bullied, but now they wanted to pretend to be good people? Go to hell with that!
“You three bastards, do you really think I’m a pushover?”
One swing of the stick, “Ah~” The scream was as shrill as could be, and the onlookers were shocked by her ruthlessness.
After only a few hits, it snapped. “Useless stick!” If there was no tool, didn't she still have her feet?
She started kicking them hard, specifically aiming for their vital parts. Wave after wave of shrill screams sent shivers down the spines of the onlookers.
Soon, she had kicked them all unconscious. Yang Hyun-suk rushed over, seeing Xu Zhiyou with blood at the corner of her mouth and the three men she was relentlessly kicking on the ground.
“Zoe, stop!”
Xu Zhiyou still showed Yang Hyun-suk some respect. To be honest, at this moment, she even wanted to beat up Yang Hyun-suk.
If he couldn’t even control his own artists’ behavior, what kind of President Nim was he? A disgraceful idiot!
“What are you looking at? Call an ambulance.” He saw his assistant still staring at him, lacking common sense.
“What happened?”
“They used the excuse of being seniors to demand I sleep with them. Look.” She handed him the room card.
Yang Hyun-suk understood after reading it. No wonder she hit them so hard.
“Is your lip okay?”
“It’s fine!”
She was still fuming and didn’t want to talk to anyone. She grabbed another food tray to get more food. No matter how big the issue, she had to eat her fill first.
She had been eating nothing but grass here; since she was going home soon, she definitely had to have a good meal, or she would feel cheated.
Everyone on the scene thought she was going to do something else, but seeing her go to the counter to get more food left them speechless. How big was her heart!
That steak earlier was delicious, but it was knocked away after only two bites, which was truly frustrating. She grabbed a few more pieces, some for Park Chaeyoung the foodie, as a farewell gift.
Yang Hyun-suk saw that she still had an appetite, so it seemed nothing major had happened. As for the three men, he didn’t care about them at all.
He took the opportunity to check the surveillance footage and ended up with a forehead full of black lines. Why did they provoke her when she was just eating her meal, and even knock her food tray away?
Did these three scoundrels not know what this 'ancestor' was capable of? It wasn’t the first time she had beaten someone into the hospital. Why did people always provoke her?
However, her fighting skills were indeed excellent; she could easily overwhelm three opponents.
“Which group are these three from? I don’t have any impression of them.”
“President Nim, those three seem to have been arranged by Director Kim.”
Lackeys of a chaebol's son, no wonder they were so arrogant. “They haven’t done anything outrageous before this, have they?”
“No! At most, they just harassed people a bit; they wouldn’t dare to be too wild.”
