223: Not on the same channel

Becky connected Xu Zhiyou's resume with her behavior and felt a strong sense of disconnect.

"What are you thinking?" Leah asked curiously when she saw her in a daze.

"I'm wondering why Zoe, with such a smart brain, acts so directly. I can't figure it out."

"What's there to not figure out? It's purely a lack of experience. A couple more years of training will fix it."

"Possibly." Becky nodded silently, then imagined a calm and wise Xu Zhiyou.

"Tsk tsk tsk, I really look forward to the day Zoe learns to use her brain. Then we can just handle the business connections, it'll be so comfortable."

"Don't get too comfortable! People don't change that easily. This Zoe is pretty good as she is!"

"Uh!!!"

Becky was speechless. Leah had said both the good and bad, making Becky the tactless one.

"Let's go, there's still a lot to do." Leah got into the car without looking back, and Becky could only follow helplessly.

Park Chaeyoung took the list from Xu Zhiyou's hand and read it out: "Sunmi sunbaenim, Kim Jong-kook sunbaenim, MAMAMOO…"

"Is that all?" Xu Zhiyou asked curiously when she stopped.

Park Chaeyoung looked at her speechlessly: "There are over twenty names, is that still too few?"

"Ah! Forget it." They were all people she didn't know, so she couldn't be bothered to waste the energy.

"Hey, hey, hey!" Park Chaeyoung grabbed her. "Wait, for selling songs, I recommend Sunmi sunbaenim."

"Recommend your head, I'm not interested."

One hundred million Korean Won was only five hundred thousand RMB, and they were all people she didn't know. She had no interest at all.

"You were such a money-grubber just now, and now you're not interested? Are you just messing with Leah Unnie?" Kim Jennie also looked at her in confusion.

"One hundred million Korean Won is a friendship price. I don't know any of these people; it's a waste of my energy. Hmph!"

"Uh!!!" The four looked at each other, speechless.

Kim Ji-soo smacked her lips, sighing faintly: "Zoe, you really haven't changed a bit."

Xu Zhiyou remembered her saying she was aloof, and felt she had to refute that. She looked at Kim Ji-soo and said seriously.

"Show Ge, I need to correct you. What I'm selling isn't just a simple song, but also the traffic that comes with me."

Thinking of her solo song: "Also, if I gave you one hundred million, would you sell your solo song? Would you do it?"

"Of course not." Kim Ji-soo didn't even think, the refusal directly slipping out.

Xu Zhiyou spread her hands and said: "A song that comes with my popularity, do you still think one hundred million Korean Won is expensive?"

"Not expensive." Kim Ji-soo nodded mechanically, then realized and was about to say something, but Xu Zhiyou interrupted her.

"So why would I burn myself out to light up strangers? Do I look like an idiot?"

"I…"

Kim Ji-soo tried to speak, but was interrupted by Kim Jennie again.

"Yes."

"Dumpling Ni." Xu Zhiyou stared at her and said faintly, "Believe it or not, I'll beat you into a Baozi Ni."

"I was just kidding." Kim Jennie was so scared she scrambled behind Kim Ji-soo to hide.

Although she wouldn't actually hit her, pinching her cheeks was definitely going to happen, so it was safer to hide.

"Hmph!" Xu Zhiyou said grumpily, "With such little ambition, you're nothing."

"You're right, as long as you're happy." Kim Jennie regretted saying that, feeling uncomfortable.

"Yah! Can you wait until I finish talking?" Kim Ji-soo slapped Kim Jennie on the back.

"Uh!!!" Kim Jennie was stunned, taking that slap so innocently.

Kim Ji-soo ignored her surprised expression and explained earnestly to Xu Zhiyou.

"I'm not saying your songs are only worth that much, I just wanted to complain about your behavior, OK?"

"Next time, don't take such a big breath when you speak. I thought you were going to say I was aloof again."

"I *was* implying you were aloof! Why did you drag money into it? I'm done!"

"I… you…" Xu Zhiyou was truly speechless, a thousand words turning into a single "Get lost~"

"Puhahaha~" Park Chaeyoung and the other two were amused.

Kim Jennie complained: "So you two have never been on the same page this whole time, and you can still chat? What a talent!"

Lisa sighed: "This damned chemistry, no wonder there are so many CP fans, tsk tsk tsk."

"Chaeyoung, stop right there. I don't need your opinion."

Xu Zhiyou raised her hand to interrupt Park Chaeyoung, who was about to gush, truly unable to bear it.

"Hmph!" Park Chaeyoung could only huff.

Xu Zhiyou felt she had explained enough and there was no need to chatter about this: "This topic ends here."

She fiddled with her phone and sent some messages in the BP group chat: "Everyone take a look, this is tomorrow's filming location. If you have different opinions, state them now."

"Melbourne?"

Park Chaeyoung's eyes lit up. She dreamed of taking Xu Zhiyou home and making her suffer social death once.

Lisa simply missed home, but after Xu Zhiyou finished speaking, she naturally assumed it wouldn't be Thailand.

She felt a slight pang of disappointment, but when she clicked on the message, she suddenly felt happiness arrive so unexpectedly.

She jumped several steps onto Xu Zhiyou: "Zoe, Kamsahamnida, woo woo woo~"

Xu Zhiyou was helpless, pulling her off and complaining: "What's with this bad habit, always jumping on me?"

"I'm happy." She wiped away a few tears, "You really do love me, woo woo woo~"

"What about me?" Park Chaeyoung pouted, looking unhappy, muttering in a muffled voice, "I said it first."

Xu Zhiyou sighed helplessly, explaining: "Chaeyoung, the next stop is Melbourne."

"Lisa hasn't seen her family in a long time, and your parents just visited you a while ago…"

"Arasso, let's just go to Thailand." Park Chaeyoung interrupted her. If she kept talking, she would seem overly sentimental.

"I was just muttering, I'm not really dissatisfied. Can't I complain a little when the plan gets messed up?"

"Do you really understand, no little emotions involved?"

Xu Zhiyou confirmed again. It was the leader's duty to nip any factors unfavorable to peace in the bud.

"Yah!" Park Chaeyoung glared at her unhappily, "Have you known me for the first day? What kind of talk is that? Am I that petty?!"

"Looks like you've really thought it through. Then we'll go with this plan." Xu Zhiyou immediately made the decision.

"What about us?" Kim Jennie was speechless, they had been skipped over so easily.

"You two are just going to play. Can you handle thinking about so many things? Go away."

"Yah!"

Xu Zhiyou clenched her fists, looking at Kim Jennie: "Dumpling Ni, are you sure you want to challenge me?"

"Aniyo." Kim Jennie quickly switched to a smiling face.

Waving her small hand, she laughed and joked: "I was asking what you need to prepare, don't be so sensitive, haha!"

"I thought you were asking for a beating, but it turns out I overthought it. What a shame."

Kim Jennie's mouth twitched as she listened. This person was truly heartless. It was a shame she couldn't beat her, otherwise she'd definitely pummel her to death.

"Puhahahahaha~"

Kim Ji-soo and the other two couldn't help but burst out laughing at Kim Jennie's expression.
