80: Wrong room

Kim Yerim sat next to Kim Jennie, watching the two idiots act foolish. “Jennie-oni, are they always like this?”

“Mostly. As long as food isn’t involved, they’re actually quite normal.” She then turned to Lisa and asked, “Isn’t that right?”

“Pfft! Hahaha~”

Seeing Kim Jennie confirm it, Kim Yerim knew just how silly the two of them usually were in their group.

“Here, there’s still some here! Why are you snatching it? Is that book made of gold?”

Kim Ji-soo couldn’t stand it anymore and directly tossed her own book to Xu Zhiyou.

Xu Zhiyou didn’t care what others thought of her. The sky was vast, the earth was huge, but her stomach was the biggest. What she ate was hers; everything else was fleeting.

“Yah! Jisoo, why is this fair? She eats meat, and we eat grass. We’re all on the same team, but she’s so unique.”

Xu Zhiyou was quite displeased to hear this. “Did I say you couldn’t eat? You want to lose weight yourself, and you blame me? Look at you, you’re as thin as a telephone pole; you wouldn’t have two ounces of meat even if you died.”

“You’re the one who’s dead! I like it this way, what business is it of yours?”

“So, have I ever stopped you from wanting to lose weight? Why are you demanding that I join you? Get lost!”

“Uh??? That seems to make sense, but I always feel like something’s wrong. Is that what she meant? My CPU is overheating.”

While she was dazed, Xu Zhiyou ordered all the dishes. This idiot was truly something; ever since Jennie-oni smacked her hand away last time, she couldn’t stand to see her eat meat.

“Yah! Is that what I meant? I said you’re not allowed to eat meat in front of me! Who told you to lose weight? You’re twisting my words!”

“Sigh!”

Kim Jennie covered her face, Lisa turned her head away, and Kim Ji-soo also lowered her head. What kind of person was this? It was fine when she didn’t speak, but as soon as she did, she just sounded incredibly brainless.

“Hahahaha!” Kang Seul-gi laughed first as a sign of respect; her reaction time was too long.

“Eat. I’ll argue with you after we finish eating.”

Xu Zhiyou just said it casually. Why did she have to think so far ahead? It wasn’t her fault. A misunderstanding was a misunderstanding.

While they were devouring their food, Bae Joo-hyun’s phone vibrated non-stop. She picked it up and saw a message from Lee Sun-kyu.

“Irene, ask Zoe when she’s free. Yoona and I want to treat the five of them to a meal.”

“They’re eating right now, not far from our company.”

“Then ask them. If they don’t mind, we’ll come over. We’re all in the practice room.”

“Okay!” Bae Joo-hyun put down her phone and looked at Kim Ji-soo: “Jisoo, Sunny Eonni and the others want to come over, do you mind?”

Kim Ji-soo shook her head. Could she dare to say she minded? These were major seniors, completely untouchable. Then Kim Jennie and Lisa also shook their heads.

Only Park Chaeyoung glared fiercely at Xu Zhiyou, completely ignoring Bae Joo-hyun’s gaze.

Bae Joo-hyun sighed and lit up her phone: “They all agreed. We’ll eat slowly and wait for you.”

“Be right there.”

Now, it was a strange sight. Park Chaeyoung held a bowl of salad, staring at Xu Zhiyou gnawing on bones, while everyone else watched Park Chaeyoung.

At a perfectly good dinner table, only Xu Zhiyou was eating normally; everyone else was enjoying the show. But they couldn’t be blamed.

During their comeback period, they controlled their diet, so everyone was eating vegetarian food, while only Xu Zhiyou had a mouth full of oil.

“Chaeyoung, hurry up and eat. Your salad will get cold.”

Park Chaeyoung’s eyes almost rolled to the heavens. “Is the salad you eat hot?”

“Tch, whatever you want. But please, don’t stare at me, okay? I know I’m beautiful, but if you stare at me like that, I’ll get shy.”

“I’m just staring at you. You’re eating alone, and I’m annoyed, so you shouldn’t enjoy your meal either.” This was called psychological warfare.

“Then suit yourself!” She then continued to slurp her bone marrow. “This stuff is delicious, but you can’t eat too much, or it gets cloying.”

She ate and commented at the same time. She devoured her food incredibly fast, and in no time, she was full. This was why Kim Ji-soo often called her a glutton.

Other female celebrities chewed slowly and delicately, but she finished in a few bites. Her teeth might only be for aesthetics, completely useless.

“I’m full. I’m going to wash my hands. You all eat slowly.” She got up and left; her hands were too greasy.

“You’re already done? It’s only been five minutes. Do you have to be so fast?” Kang Seul-gi was truly surprised. It was her first time seeing a girl eat so quickly.

She had spent time in the military when she was young, and people there ate just as fast; that’s where she developed the habit.

“She’s always like this.”

Kim Jennie also started devouring her vegetable salad. She hadn’t intended to eat it, but seeing Xu Zhiyou eat so deliciously made her hungry.

When she returned, the eight Girls Generation members were already seated inside. She came in and noticed the number of people was off.

“Mianhae!” She backed out and closed the door, leaving Kim Ji-soo and Bae Joo-hyun stunned. What kind of move was this?

“What is she doing?” Lisa looked at Son Seung-wan beside her, puzzled.

“Your leader’s mysterious actions, I don’t know either.”

Xu Zhiyou glanced at the door. “Right, this is the place, but why is the number of people wrong?”

She had been busy devouring food and hadn’t really listened to what Bae Joo-hyun said. Besides, Bae Joo-hyun hadn’t asked her. She just walked in and saw seventeen or eighteen people, which was too surreal.

She carefully pushed open a crack, saw Kim Ji-soo and Bae Joo-hyun, then looked again and saw Lim Yoona. She pushed the door open and walked in.

“Annyeonghaseyo, you’ve arrived, haha. I didn’t know you were coming, I thought I had walked out.”

Lee Sun-kyu looked at Bae Joo-hyun, “Didn’t you say you asked her?”

“I asked, but she was busy eating, so I took it as her consent. It’s fine, she’s just an idiot, she won’t mind these things.”

“Yah! Bae Da Tou, is it appropriate for you to badmouth me in front of our seniors?”

“What did you call me? Say it again!”

Bae Joo-hyun had told her countless times not to call her that. She never listened to reason, and now she just wanted to stab her with a fork.

“Hahaha! Bae Da Tou is quite fitting, actually.” Lee Sun-kyu was someone who loved to watch drama unfold.

“Yah! Sunny Eonni, don’t go too far, I’ll get angry.”

Bae Joo-hyun already knew this would happen, she shouldn’t have let them come. It was truly annoying.

“Go ahead and be angry! Am I stopping you?” Lee Sun-kyu wasn’t intimidated by her at all.

“Hmph~” She sat back down and gnawed on her grass.

Kang Seul-gi thought, it really had to be the Girls Generation members; they could make anyone lose their temper with a single word.

Xu Zhiyou greeted them, but didn’t bow. She just couldn’t get used to it. If they minded, there was nothing she could do. She simply couldn’t bring herself to respect strangers.

“Hello, seniors, my name is Zoe…”

Lim Yoona found her very amusing. “We know you, no need for self-introductions. Do you know us?”

Xu Zhiyou really wanted to say, I only know you, I truly don’t know the others.

Kim Ji-soo saw her embarrassed expression and knew she definitely didn’t recognize them. She stood up, bowed, and said,

“Mianhae, Yoona sunbae, she doesn’t follow celebrities, so she might not really recognize you. Let me introduce you.”

Not only Lim Yoona was surprised, but everyone else, except for the four BLACKPINK members, was surprised. To be a girl group member and not recognize the ‘Empress Group’ was indeed quite rare. If they hadn’t seen it with their own eyes, they wouldn’t have believed it for anything.
