270: Lonely Review
“Oh my, oh my, oh my!” Lisa stared at her phone and shrieked, “The data is skyrocketing too fast!”
“It’s alright, just basic operations, nothing to fuss about,” Xu Zhiyou said nonchalantly as she scrolled through her phone.
Park Chaeyoung, seeing her smug expression, suddenly couldn’t control herself and blurted out, “Oh, look at you, so capable, tsk~”
Xu Zhiyou rolled her eyes dramatically, then spoke in a high-pitched voice, “Our Chaeyoung is so amazing, then we’ll just wait for your EP’s results, won’t we?”
“Ew!” Park Chaeyoung leaned back to express her disgust. “Who did you learn that cringe voice from? Can’t you be normal?”
“Her!” Xu Zhiyou gestured towards Kim Jennie. “Her, of course, who else could it be?”
“Yah!” Kim Jennie pulled off a sock and threw it at her. “Talk about yourselves, why drag me into it? You’re sick!”
“Mm,” Park Chaeyoung nodded in agreement. “She is sick, and quite seriously too.”
“Do you want to die?” Xu Zhiyou threw the sock precisely at Park Chaeyoung’s face, and as expected, it landed with a splat.
Before she could explode, Xu Zhiyou continued, “If your results aren’t better than mine when they come out, just wait and see how I’ll deal with you for being so arrogant with me.”
Park Chaeyoung, hearing that she was serious, knew this wouldn’t do. Trash talk was one thing, but she couldn’t afford to be serious. She immediately dropped to her knees, “Mianhae, my mouth slipped just now, please don’t…”
“I understand, I understand everything.”
Park Chaeyoung, hearing this, patted her chest and let out a sigh of relief. “That’s good, that’s good. I thought you were serious, you scared me to death.”
Seeing her like this, Zhiyou felt compelled to motivate her. “I know you’ve always wanted to beat me.” She moved next to her and patted her shoulder. “Don’t worry, I’ll definitely give you a chance, hwaiting!”
“Who said that? I didn’t,” Park Chaeyoung waved her hands repeatedly, almost creating afterimages, as if afraid that if she spoke too slowly, it would be taken seriously.
The idea of beating Xu Zhiyou was something she had only been lucky enough to dream about once, after trying countless sleeping positions; it was simply impossible in reality.
“Less nonsense, it’s settled then.”
“Yah! Who settled it? How is it settled? I…”
Xu Zhiyou glanced at her indifferently. “If you keep chattering, I’ll deal with you right now.”
After saying that, she continued scrolling through her phone. She knew her own situation; her reputation on the Peninsula internet was indeed not so wonderful, and she didn’t want to implicate Sandara.
“Eek!” Park Chaeyoung was startled, rolled sideways, and hid beside Kim Ji-soo. “Jisoo, she’s going to hit me.”
Kim Ji-soo showed her the memes of her chaotic expressions from when she rode the drop tower. “Look at this before you decide whether to squat here with me.”
Park Chaeyoung glanced at them and gave an awkward laugh. “Still… no, hehe!” She obediently sat back down. This one had an even worse temper; she couldn’t afford to provoke her.
Kim Ji-soo squinted at her, not even bothering to snort, which showed how hard she was trying to suppress her temper.
Park Chaeyoung lowered her head, took out her phone, and pretended to be engrossed in it, acting as if she hadn’t seen anything.
“Pfft~” Kim Jennie covered her mouth and snickered. She had been a full participant in all of her eldest Unnie’s embarrassing moments; it was just too amusing to think about.
“Hm?” Hearing the stifled laughter, Kim Ji-soo glanced at her indifferently, which made Kim Jennie shrink her neck in fright. It was truly terrifying.
Lisa lowered her head, secretly thinking how lucky she was. She had almost burst out laughing. If she had to take a beating for Park Chaeyoung, it would be a huge loss.
Xu Zhiyou ignored their antics and continued to scroll through the song comments.
“It’s so good! Why do I feel a sense of loneliness when I listen to it? Damn it, have I been single for too long? Poor me.JPG”
“Lee Chae-rin and Park Sandara appeared, what about the other two? Wuwuwu! Has my youth just disbanded like this? Wuwuwu~”
“Why does it feel like a handover of power? The captain of the first-generation girl crush group (disbanded) and the current strongest rookie king, it’s so vivid!”
“After hearing the person above, I actually feel a tiny bit old. Ah, youth, crying face.JPG”
“My nose tingled from the very first line. 2NE1 Unnies, you disbanded, but what about us? Wuwuwu~”
“2NE1 is the world’s first girl crush group! We don’t accept any substitutes. BLACKPINK, we don’t care!!!”
“I support this. Our 2NE1 disbanded so suddenly, I think it’s highly likely because the company wanted to push BLACKPINK. Disgusting!”
“You above, talking nonsense, farting without aiming, just sticking your butt out, huh? Our BP are self-sufficient, okay? You’re nothing.”
“Hey, hey, hey, can you please be more harmonious? Those who know, know. There’s no need to argue with these brainless fans; it’s annoying.”
“I support this. A collaboration song between the captain of the first-generation girl crush group and the captain of the current girl crush group, what a beautiful dream collaboration! I suggest more of these.”
“I support this. Refuse to bind our BP. Our five unpromising daughters are already lazy enough. This kind of talk really hurts; it’s disheartening.JPG”
“What are you thinking? The more they argue, the more comebacks there might be. Don’t other girl groups often do this?”
“That’s other girl groups. If it’s our Zoe, she really dares to be lazy. She debuted for half a year and then took half a year off. Can you imagine that? What a sin!”
“Pffthahaha! Why do I want to laugh? Is this even an idol? She has more temper than a global superstar. I’m dying of laughter, hahaha~”
“Global superstar? If she had even a tiny bit of ambition, she might have been one long ago. She has beauty, talent, and money. Oh my, which window did God close for her? I’m so envious.”
“Now that you mention it, it’s true. In the new episode of BP HOUSE, she just pulled out a black card. Tsk tsk tsk, when it comes to making money, it has to be the producer. Envious.”
“I say, this topic of yours is quite presumptuous, isn’t it? From reminiscing about 2NE1, to arguing, and finally detouring to Zoe’s laziness, you just won’t mention the song, right? Is it not good? Pick nose.JPG”
“Didn’t we say it before? Zoe’s productions, except for the disappointing MVs, when it comes to songs, unless it’s really bad, we usually just go straight for the data.”
“This isn’t even an MV, is it? It’s just a recording studio video of her singing. Hey? Speaking of which, isn’t Park Sandara almost forty? Her visuals are still so striking! Amazing.”
“It proves that she really didn’t get plastic surgery. And Zoe next to her, it just goes to show, beauties only hang out with beauties.”
“Add Kim Ji-soo to the mix, and YG is starting to get rich. With three unique beauties supporting them, who dares to say YG doesn’t care about looks? Tsk tsk!”
“…”
Xu Zhiyou finished reading and put down her phone, thinking about those who regretted 2NE1, wondering if she should start a company to re-form the four members.
Lisa saw her staring blankly, chin in hand, and slapped her on the back. “What are you thinking about so intently?”
“Nothing,” Xu Zhiyou shook her head and casually brushed her off.
