241: Don't want to shoot
In Thailand, Xu Zhiyou’s door was being knocked loudly by Park Chaeyoung, who was also shouting.
“Zoe, I have something important to tell you, it’s urgent, open the door quickly.”
Bang ~ Bang ~ Bang ~
Park Chaeyoung knocked for a long time without any response: “Yah! You’re not asleep, are you!”
Bang ~ Bang ~ Bang ~
Even with knocking and kicking, there was no response, but it did bring out Kim Ji-soo and the other three.
Lisa was the first to speak: “Chaeyoung! Are you practicing boxing over there? Don’t you know how to ring the doorbell?”
Park Chaeyoung glared at her: “Only you are smart. If the doorbell worked, would I be kicking the door?”
“Uh??? ”
Lisa thought of Xu Zhiyou’s sleeping god attribute and couldn’t refute.
After Park Chaeyoung saw her shut up, she continued to bang on the door: “Wake up, you dead pig…”
“Chaeyoung, take a break.” Kim Ji-soo stepped forward to stop her, “Call the front desk to open it.”
“Oh, right!” Park Chaeyoung’s eyes lit up, and she ran back to her room to call the front desk.
Kim Ji-soo and the other three looked at each other, and Kim Jennie shook her head and sighed: “Her IQ is worrying! Alas~”
“Who told Chaeyoung she’d die without Zoe, tsk!” Lisa muttered under her breath.
Kim Jennie shook her head: “Lisa, you should be careful, watch out, Chaeyoung might beat you up if she hears you.”
“Tsk! As if I’m afraid of her…”
“Alright, alright! You’re all big shots.” She shrugged and turned to go back to her room.
“Jennie!” Kim Ji-soo called out to her, “It’s time for dinner, let’s get Zoe up and go eat.”
“I’m not hungry, you guys go!” Kim Jennie said, then tried to close the door.
“Wait a moment.” Kim Ji-soo held the door open and whispered in her ear, “We’re filming a group reality show, we have to go.”
“Uh??? ”
Kim Jennie only then realized they were filming a group reality show and could only pout and sigh: “What a hard life!”
Kim Ji-soo rubbed her head: “Don’t pout, hurry up and get ready to eat.”
“Alright!” What else could Kim Jennie do but obediently go back to her room to change.
Less than two minutes later, the front desk opened the door, and Park Chaeyoung thought to herself, 'Sure enough.'
Looking at Xu Zhiyou sprawled out on the bed in a big ‘X’ shape: “Does anyone really sleep this much?”
“Look!” Kim Jennie gestured towards Xu Zhiyou, “Isn’t there one right here!”
“Alright, you two, wake her up for dinner.” Kim Ji-soo stepped forward to pull her, but lost her balance and was instead pulled onto the bed.
“Ew!” Park Chaeyoung couldn’t bear to look, “Jisoo, how did you end up sticking to her while trying to wake her up?”
“Yah!” Kim Ji-soo glared at her, “Chaeyoung, if you don’t use your eyes, donate them.”
“Pfft ha ha ha ~” Kim Jennie and Lisa were busy laughing to themselves.
“Laugh, laugh, laugh, what are you laughing at? Come over and help!” Kim Ji-soo casually threw two pillows.
“Oh, oh!”
Kim Jennie immediately stopped smiling and stepped forward to drag Xu Zhiyou; with her large build, it was indeed difficult for one person to pull her.
“Don’t move, no need for all that trouble.” Park Chaeyoung interrupted them both and pulled out some dried meat from her pocket.
Lisa saw it and said speechlessly: “Chaeyoung, aren’t you really afraid of getting beaten up!”
Xu Zhiyou had said she would beat her to death if there was a next time, and Park Chaeyoung still dared to pull this stunt, it was practically dancing on a grave.
“It’s fine!” Before she could even poke the dried meat into Xu Zhiyou’s mouth, she received a death glare.
“Eek!” Park Chaeyoung was startled and stammered, “Who told you to sleep like a dead pig… Ouch~”
Xu Zhiyou grabbed the back of her neck, the fate of her life, and flicked her forehead.
“Park Chaeyoung, you’d better convince me, otherwise I’ll beat you into a dead rose.”
“Let go, I really have something important.” Only when she mentioned this did Park Chaeyoung remember the message her manager sent her.
Xu Zhiyou saw that she wasn't trying to trick her, so she let go: “What is it?”
“What big deal could you possibly have…” Lisa, however, expressed skepticism.
Park Chaeyoung couldn't be bothered with her, pulled out her phone and handed it to Xu Zhiyou: “IU Senior has confirmed the time.”
Xu Zhiyou finished reading, returned the phone to her, and said speechlessly: “Then you go, what’s the big deal about this?”
“But I don’t want to film the MV, over there…”
“If you don’t want to film, then don’t. A collaboration song really isn’t that necessary.” Xu Zhiyou also didn’t think much of MVs.
Park Chaeyoung saw her being so casual and pouted: “This isn’t up to me, it’s up to IU Senior…”
“I’ll just have Leah Unnie talk to her, she’s very easy to talk to, it’s fine.”
“Won’t she…”
“She won’t get angry, don’t worry.” She sat back on the bed and looked at her, asking confusedly: “Why don’t you want to film the MV?”
Xu Zhiyou didn’t want to film because her popularity was not inferior to Park Sandara’s, while Park Chaeyoung currently lagged far behind Lee Ji-eun.
Filming the MV would be more beneficial to her, but now it was Park Chaeyoung who didn’t want to film the MV, which truly made Xu Zhiyou unable to understand her thought process.
“I… that, uh.” Thinking of Xu Zhiyou’s usual excuse, she blurted out as if possessed, “I don’t think it’s necessary.”
Xu Zhiyou disdainfully kicked her butt: “What are you playing at? Tell me the truth.”
“I…”
“Park Chaeyoung, I’ve seen you naked, and now you’re being coy with me.”
“Pfft~” Park Chaeyoung felt like spitting blood.
“Pfft ha ha ha ~” Kim Ji-soo and the other three looked at the rapidly blushing Park Chaeyoung, laughing so hard they couldn’t stand straight.
“Yah!” Hearing the laughter, Park Chaeyoung unhappily retorted, “Which one of you hasn’t she seen? How dare you laugh at me.”
“Uh??? ”
The three’s smiles instantly disappeared; this was indeed undeniable.
Xu Zhiyou scrutinized her; this guilty look appearing on Park Chaeyoung was not too uncommon.
“Chaeyoung, I’m too lazy to delve into why you don’t want to film. Just tell me if it’s your private matter or some other reason.”
“It’s my private matter!” This time, her answer was very decisive.
“Hmm, alright.” Xu Zhiyou walked straight to the washbasin.
After Xu Zhiyou left, Lisa quickly grabbed Park Chaeyoung’s hand and asked confusedly: “So why don’t you want to film?”
“Yeah, Chaeyoung, it’s not like you don’t have time. Filming the MV is clearly more beneficial to you, it would be a real shame not to.”
Kim Ji-soo then glanced at Kim Jennie beside her: “You’re not an tsundere person either!”
Kim Jennie’s face darkened; that look was somewhat offensive: “Unnie, are you saying I’m tsundere?”
“I’m not talking about you.” Kim Ji-soo replied, not quite righteous, but with strong conviction.
“Yah!”
“Alright, you guys stop prying. I just simply don’t want to film, no reason.”
After speaking, she pushed Lisa away and ran straight out the door: “I’m going back to my room to change, wait for me a bit.”
“Hey, hey, aren’t you just teasing me?” Lisa was still not giving up and wanted to ask, but Park Chaeyoung had already run off.
“Forget it.” Xu Zhiyou came out of the washroom, casually put on a jacket, “Time to eat.”
“No, Zoe, aren’t you curious?”
Lisa felt like she didn’t know Xu Zhiyou; usually, she was the most gossipy, so why was she acting so calm now?
“Are you stupid? There are so many ways to get information, why do you have to resort to coercion, you idiot.”
“Yah! Who are you calling an idiot?” Lisa really wanted to scratch this person to death.
Xu Zhiyou stared straight at her: “Try baring your teeth at me again, and I’ll beat you to death in minutes.”
