2: Taken home by Xu Wen

After being sent to the orphanage, she couldn't get used to anything, so she came up with the idea of selling songs, but she couldn't compose.

Finally, she wrote down the song she remembered most clearly and sold it for fifty thousand yuan, which could be said to be a cheap sale.

Even this process was very difficult, as she racked her brains to get an adult to make the transaction for her, ultimately receiving forty-nine thousand.

After getting the money, she started living alone. An old, dilapidated house wouldn't bother you much if you paid, it wasn't that strict.

When the money ran out, it was time to worry again, lying on the grass, looking at the clear blue sky, emptying her mind.

"Why not go to Peninsula to be a trainee and earn some living expenses?"

She thought about it again and felt it wasn't reliable, "I can't even appear on camera, so what's the point?"

"It seems I can only resort to the same trick again, continue selling songs, but I can't sell good quality ones, and composing is a big problem."

After all, no one would believe that a little girl under nine could write such songs; wouldn't that be treating people like fools?

"It seems only pop songs will do. Luckily, I like to scroll through short videos, so I can at least put together a few."

As long as she tried hard to think, certain corresponding snippet would pop into her mind.

"This golden finger is really quite useless."

"How great would it be if a system just gave me a beginner's gift pack and maxed out all my skills? Now I still have to think for myself to slowly piece together a complete song."

Perhaps it was also her fault for not understanding composition; if it was a familiar melody, it would be much faster. It seems she needs to work harder in this area in the future.

Finding someone to sell the songs is also a big problem; it requires a live transaction, and she is a minor. It's difficult, so annoying!

"Ugh! If I'm going to transmigrate, why shrink me? What's the meaning of this?"

"Damn it, if you're going to shrink me, why not make it a soul transmigration into a rich family? This passive situation is pointless. Ah~~~"

She rolled around on the grass again and again. Luckily, there was no one around, otherwise, people would think the child was crazy.

Unable to find anyone to help her, she could only turn to Xu Wen. This wasn't a crime, so it was fine.

Besides, who would care about these trashy pop songs except for a few eccentric online singers? She didn't have to worry about anyone tracing her.

She went directly to Xu Wen with the songs. When you have a problem, you find the police, right? Besides, they were old acquaintances; she was even the protagonist of Xu Wen's first case in her police career!

After learning that Xu Zhiyou had run away from the orphanage, Xu Wen gave her a stern lecture and planned to send her back.

"Sister Wen, I don't like staying there. Besides, I can earn money myself." Even before her transmigration, she wasn't older than Xu Wen, so calling her 'sister' carried no psychological burden.

Thinking of this, she felt sad for herself again. Her life ended at the age of 22, how pitiful.

"Sigh!" Xu Wen was also quite helpless; this one was clearly stubborn.

"Give it here!"

"Huh?"

"Your songs."

"Oh! Here."

She understood a bit about music. Seeing Xu Zhiyou, at eight or nine years old, able to write songs, even though the lyrics were trash, she was still shocked. How old was this little kid?

This time, she only got two thousand yuan for the order. Xu Wen felt a pang of sympathy seeing her happy expression and suddenly thought of having her parents adopt Xu Zhiyou.

They were always urging her to get married; it would be better to bring a little child back to accompany them, which would also ease some of her own pressure.

She decided to do it. She would go back and ask for their opinion. This little kid was so delicate and had a likable personality; they would definitely love her.

Another month passed like this. This time, she prepared three songs. A whole Earth music library, she wouldn't run out even if she used it until she died, she could use it as she pleased.

She had finally figured out some tricks. Her mind contained an entire Earth entertainment library, perhaps to prevent her head from exploding from too much information, it was set up in a cached mode.

As long as she focused on a certain area, it would provide her with the corresponding information. No wonder her brain became more efficient; how could it not be good after being forcibly expanded?

"You're here. Have you written new songs again?" Xu Wen asked casually, busy organizing files.

"Yes! This time I wrote three."

"Wait for me a moment, I'll take you somewhere later."

"Okay." After saying that, Xu Zhiyou found a random spot to sit and wait for her.

After Xu Wen told her parents what had happened, they also conducted an investigation. Everything looked good, and it would be nice for their own daughter and the adopted daughter to support each other.

Even if Xu Zhiyou hadn't come to find her, she would have gone to find Xu Zhiyou. In the car, Xu Zhiyou watched as she was taken to a picturesque place.

With armed guards standing by, she felt a little confused. Could it be that they found her annoying and were going to bury her?

Thinking about it again, she found it funny; there was no need for a deadbeat like her. After walking for a while, the car finally stopped.

"Get out."

"Where is this?" Looking at the spacious courtyard with guards nearby, any normal person would be curious.

"My home, where else? Come with me!" She extended a hand and held Xu Zhiyou's.

Xu Lisong and Jiang Ling were drinking tea and reading newspapers in the yard. They looked up and saw their daughter leading a very delicate little girl back, and they probably guessed who it was.

"Mom and Dad, this is Youyou. What do you think? Isn't she cute!"

Although Xu Zhiyou didn't understand what was going on, she politely called them 'uncle' and 'auntie.' A ten-year veteran trainee could remain calm regardless of favor or disgrace.

Xu Lisong and Jiang Ling exchanged glances. Their positions gave them an air of authority and dignity, which would inspire awe in ordinary people.

But this little girl was quite remarkable, so calm and unperturbed, no wonder their daughter liked her.

"Little girl, come here! Let me see, you're too pretty." Although Jiang Ling had seen her file, she was still amazed to see her in person.

Xu Zhiyou was bewildered, not understanding what was happening, but she still obediently walked over.

Her skin looked moist, radiant, and clear, with a cool, fair complexion—the ultimate goal of women's skincare!

"This little face is so smooth and tender, truly naturally beautiful."

Xu Wen covered her face, watching her mother's actions. How could she pinch someone's face on the first meeting? "Mom, what are you doing? What if you scare her!"

"She's fine, isn't she? You're making a fuss."

Xu Wen, seeing her bewildered expression, explained, "Youyou, you've lost your memory now, and you don't want to stay in the orphanage. From now on, you'll live with us, okay?"

If it were any other child, they might have agreed, but who was Xu Zhiyou? Even before her transmigration, without a golden finger, she was unwilling to be adopted.

Not to mention now, with the golden finger, as long as she got through childhood and with her current intelligence, she could live very comfortably.

Besides, it wasn't like she couldn't support herself. An entire Earth resource library was at her disposal, with no burden at all.

Seeing her reluctance, Xu Lisong and Jiang Ling exchanged glances. This was not what they had expected.

Xu Wen, however, could anticipate it. After learning about the little kid's series of actions, quietly running away from the orphanage, she could guess that this little kid was very independent and strong-willed.

"Are you unwilling?"

Xu Zhiyou nodded, not speaking.

"Why?"

"I can support myself."

All three were silenced by her words. After a while, Xu Wen said, "I know you can support yourself, but look at these terrible songs you've written. Don't you want to write better ones?"

Xu Zhiyou's old face suddenly turned red. She knew the songs were trash, but hearing it said so directly was quite embarrassing.
