210: You must have a good attitude

Kim Ji-soo felt she had to explain quickly; if Lim Yoona continued to overthink, there was no telling what BP would become.

“That’s new, never been used.”

Lim Yoona finally breathed a sigh of relief when she heard that: “Good, I thought you two were doing that in private.”

“You’re the one doing that.” She checked the time. “It’s already eight o’clock. Tell me which S.M. Entertainment artists are free lately.”

Lim Yoona thought of Zheng Xiujing, who was benched: “Xiao Shuijing is free, you’ll definitely find her available if you look for her.”

“Isn’t she unofficially blacklisted by S.M. Entertainment? If I go to her, would S.M. Entertainment agree?”

“Just don’t go through the company channels. The company doesn’t manage her anyway now.”

Xu Zhiyou thought about it but still felt it was inappropriate. If S.M. Entertainment pursued it, it would be very troublesome: “Find someone else.”

Lim Yoona didn’t expect her to refuse: “What, Xiao Shuijing can’t satisfy your appetite?”

“Don’t talk nonsense. I just feel her relationship with S.M. Entertainment is a bit delicate. What if something goes wrong?”

“You’re afraid of that!” Lim Yoona looked at her in disbelief.

Xu Zhiyou rolled her eyes: “Who am I afraid of? I just find it troublesome, okay? Find someone else.”

“Then there’s no one. Everyone else is busy like a top.” Thinking of Choi Seol-ri, who left the group, “There’s one more, but her reputation isn’t very good.”

Xu Zhiyou glared at her: “You’re recommending someone with a bad reputation to me? Don’t even mention it, skip.”

“It’s just her reputation that’s not good, she’s a very nice person.” Lim Yoona quickly explained when she saw that Xu Zhiyou wasn’t even bothering to listen.

Seeing her reaction, Xu Zhiyou asked curiously: “Is she your relative? You’re so persistent.”

Lim Yoona recalled Choi Seol-ri, who started as a child star: “You could say so, since I watched her grow up.”

“Oh, you saying that makes me curious, who is it?”

“Choi Jin-ri, you know Choi Seol-ri from the group f(x), right?” Compared to Zheng Xiujing, Lim Yoona hoped even more that Xu Zhiyou would help her.

“Uh!!!” Xu Zhiyou suddenly remembered that this Choi Seol-ri’s ending seemed quite tragic.

Lim Yoona saw her spacing out and thought she was being troublesome again: “Zoe, Jin-ri is a very nice person, a very well-behaved little girl.”

“Stop, I can’t do anything.” Xu Zhiyou glanced at the four people behind her. She was there to gain popularity, not to attract trouble.

Lim Yoona noticed her small gesture and remembered that she was the BP leader, so she had to make decisions from the group’s perspective: “Sigh! Then forget it.”

Xu Zhiyou thought of her ending and couldn’t bring herself to ignore it, looking at Lim Yoona.

“Yoona Eonni, this time isn’t suitable, but find a chance to introduce us.”

Lim Yoona seemed to have misheard: “Aren’t you the one who fears trouble the most?”

“What nonsense are you talking about? You’ve already made that face, how can I refuse?”

Lim Yoona didn’t expect her to say that: “Zoe, it wasn’t for nothing that I doted on you. Come, give me a kiss.”

Xu Zhiyou pushed her away: “Ew! Go back and hug your Kwon Daedae, don’t come to me.”

“Hmph~”

Seeing that no one else was chosen, Xu Zhiyou urged: “Recommend another one to me.”

“S.M. Entertainment is a slave-driver company; everyone is so busy they can’t catch their breath. There’s really no one else.”

“My goodness, they don’t even give artists a chance to breathe?”

“You won’t find anyone if you ask me directly, but if you go through YG to S.M. Entertainment, there are plenty of artists who want to collaborate with you.”

“Forget it, too much trouble.” Xu Zhiyou didn’t even think about it, staring at her, “You’re free, right?”

“Finding me is certainly no problem, and I can bring Sunny Eonni along too. She’s also quite free lately.”

Xu Zhiyou looked at her speechlessly: “Then why didn’t you recommend me just now? Are you sick?”

“Yah!”

“Stop. Then it’s just the two of you. If I can also get Bae Suzy, that should be enough.”

Hearing Bae Suzy: “Suzy is even busier; she went to Fashion Week.”

“This year is truly unlucky.” She looked at Kim Ji-soo, “Show Ge, can Lim Nayeon make a guest appearance?”

Kim Jennie interrupted her: “Why are you always thinking of piggybacking on others’ popularity? The five of us can film it too.”

“Exactly.” Park Chaeyoung also didn’t understand.

A group variety show is a variety show for one’s own group. Why did they have to drag others in?

“Mhm! I agree with Jisoo.” Kim Jennie also expressed her stance.

Seeing that all three of them had this reaction, Xu Zhiyou felt it was pointless to keep pushing.

She was all about democracy: “Sigh! Since that’s the case, then forget it.”

Lim Yoona asked doubtfully: “What about my side then?”

Xu Zhiyou thought of Lim Yoona’s popularity: “Are you free recently?”

Lim Yoona thought carefully and said: “I’m about to start promoting a drama, so I probably won’t have a full block of time.”

“Then forget it, we’ll just film it ourselves. But if you do get free, give me a call.”

“Alright.” Lim Yoona really couldn’t spare a full block of time.

“…”

After Lim Yoona left, Xu Zhiyou handed the song to Park Chaeyoung: “This is your collaboration song, practice it first.”

“Really?” Park Chaeyoung looked at the lyrics and music in her hand with surprise. She thought Lisa was messing with her, but this actually happened.

“I told you, but you didn’t believe me. How embarrassing, hmph~” Lisa was very annoyed when she thought of Park Chaeyoung stepping on her butt.

Park Chaeyoung felt a bit awkward: “I’ll cook for you as an apology, alright?”

Lisa’s mouth twitched: “Is that your way of apologizing? I think you’re trying to poison me.”

“If you say so, then so be it.” She pushed Lisa aside and came in front of Xu Zhiyou, “Zoe, the theme of this song is…”

After chatting for half an hour, Xu Zhiyou couldn’t take it anymore and hid back in her room. Discussing music with Park Chaeyoung was insane.

Ten thousand whys, she kept asking endlessly, which was incredibly annoying, making her almost foam at the mouth.

Kim Jennie also felt her scalp tingle: “Aigoo, Chaeyoung, why do you have so many questions?”

“Jennie-oni, aren’t you also learning to compose? It’s never wrong to ask her about her creative process.”

“Ever since I realized that I work myself to death for a whole year and it still can’t compare to her ten minutes of zoning out, I gave up.”

“Don’t say that, didn’t Zoe say that this kind of thing is all about persistence? Once you learn to a certain extent, you’ll be able to write.”

“You actually believed her nonsense. This stuff is about talent. You play by yourself, I’m going to slack off for a few days to adjust my mindset.”

“Uh???” Park Chaeyoung saw her like this and looked at Lisa, asking confusedly, “What happened?”

Lisa recounted what happened after she left, and Park Chaeyoung also couldn’t help but twitch her mouth.

“So Zoe looked at the draft and wrote a song in just over ten minutes?”

Lisa looked at Kim Jennie’s door: “Pretty much. Anyway, Jennie-oni was greatly affected.”

“Fortunately, I came back. Otherwise, I would have become withdrawn too.” Park Chaeyoung felt that to be teammates with Xu Zhiyou, one must have a good mindset.

Lisa said resignedly: “Right? I figured it out a long time ago. There’s no need to compete in areas you’re not good at.”
