166: Chapter 166 When three walk together, I'm bound to be one of them.

A complex wave of emotion welled up in Qin Lin's heart.

Was Han Qing... giving her tacit consent?

He looked over at Han Yurou on his right.

Han Yurou was busily and excitedly occupied, completely oblivious to her mother's reaction.

The movie continued to play.

The three of them lay there, each with their own thoughts.

The world beneath the covers was ten thousand times more exciting than the plot on the screen.

After an unknown amount of time, the movie finally ended.

The screen went dark, and the room fell into shadow.

Only the moonlight from outside filtered in, casting a faint silver glow.

Han Qing also opened her eyes and stared quietly at the ceiling.

None of the three spoke.

But that kind of understanding was already self-evident.

The three of them just lay there like that.

There were no further actions, they just stayed there quietly.

But that feeling was more heart-stirring than any intense physical contact.

The moonlight from outside spilled in, falling upon them.

Inside Bedroom No. 003, it was warm and quiet.

After a while, Han Yurou's breathing gradually stabilized; she was tired and had fallen asleep.

Han Qing was not yet asleep.

She looked at Qin Lin and asked softly,

“Qin Lin, tell me... is what we're doing right?”

Qin Lin thought for a moment and made up a line on the fly.

“Right or wrong doesn't matter. What matters is that we are happy.”

Han Qing fell silent for a few seconds.

“Then, are you happy?”

“I'm happy, very happy.”

Wasn't he so happy he was practically flying?

Han Qing smiled.

She closed her eyes and leaned into his embrace.

Qin Lin gently stroked her back, as if coaxing a child.

After some time, she also fell asleep.

Looking at the person in his arms, a strange sense of satisfaction welled up in Qin Lin's heart.

One mature and gentle, the other youthful and lively.

A night without words, only cries.

...

The next afternoon, sunlight filtered through the protective shield and into Bedroom No. 003.

Han Qing opened her eyes to find herself still lying in Qin Lin's arms.

On the other side, Han Yurou was hugging Qin Lin's arm, sleeping like a kitten.

Qin Lin was already awake and was looking at them.

“Awake?” he asked softly.

Han Qing nodded, her face flushing slightly.

The events of last night replayed in her mind like a movie.

Although nothing had truly happened, that ambiguous atmosphere and that unspoken understanding were more heart-pounding than if something actually had.

“What time is it?”

“A bit past two in the afternoon.”

Han Qing was stunned for a moment, then hurriedly sat up.

“It's that late?”

Qin Lin smiled.

“It's fine, no one else is up yet either.”

Han Qing looked at him, a complex feeling rising in her heart.

Qin Lin reached out and gently caressed her face.

“Aunt Qing, you guys are the most important people to me.”

Han Qing's heart warmed, and she leaned against his shoulder.

Just then, Han Yurou also woke up.

She rubbed her eyes and smiled when she saw her mother and Qin Lin leaning together.

“Mom, morning.”

Han Qing glanced at her.

“Still morning? It's already afternoon.”

Han Yurou stuck out her tongue and sat up as well.

She looked at Qin Lin, her eyes sparkling.

“Brother Qin Lin, did you sleep well last night?”

Qin Lin smiled.

“Quite well.”

Han Yurou blinked.

“I did too.”

As she spoke, she leaned over and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

Han Qing watched her daughter but said nothing.

After kissing him, Han Yurou also leaned over to kiss her mother.

“Mom, did you sleep well last night?”

Han Qing smiled helplessly.

“I did.”

“That's good then.”

Han Yurou said giggling, “The three of us being together is naturally good.”

Han Qing looked at her, a warm current flowing through her heart.

This child was truly happy.

She turned to look at Qin Lin.

Qin Lin was also looking at her.

The two of them exchanged a glance and both smiled.

That kind of understanding required no words.

After leaving Bedroom No. 003, Qin Lin went straight to the Drivers Cabin.

He sat on the sofa and pulled up the System interface.

【System Notification: Change in passenger status detected】

...

Qin Lin looked at the list and smiled.

Another name had been added.

Although nothing had truly happened last night.

But the "intimate relationship" recognized by the System didn't seem limited to that kind of thing.

Ambiguity, physical contact, and emotional confirmation were all included.

He thought of Han Yurou's boldness last night and couldn't help but laugh.

He continued to look down.

Qin Lin nodded with satisfaction.

He leaned back on the sofa and closed his eyes, savoring everything from last night.

It really was wonderful.

Back in Bedroom No. 003, Han Qing and Han Yurou were still lying in bed, with neither showing any intention of getting up.

There was a long silence.

Han Yurou spoke first:

“Mom.”

“Hmm?”

“How... how do you feel?”

Han Qing thought about it.

“Quite good.”

“Really?”

“Really.”

Han Yurou turned on her side to look at her mother.

“Mom, your face is so red.”

Han Qing glared at her.

“You have the nerve to say that? Who was the one who made the first move last night?”

Han Yurou laughed.

“It was me.” She was completely unrepentant.

“If I didn't make a move, how would there be an opportunity?”

Han Qing looked at her, not knowing what to say.

She was too bold.

“Then... did you like the atmosphere last night?”

Han Qing looked at her.

Han Yurou's eyes were bright, filled with anticipation and a bit of nervousness.

Han Qing's heart softened.

“I liked it,” she said softly.

Han Yurou smiled, very happily.

The plan had finally succeeded.

“That's good then.”

She leaned over and hugged her mother.

“Mom, let's keep being like this from now on, okay?”

Han Qing gently stroked her back.

“Okay.”

The two of them lay quietly.

After a while, Han Yurou suddenly said,

“Mom, don't you feel like your body has become much lighter?”

Han Qing was taken aback, then carefully felt it for herself.

It was true.

Her body felt lighter than usual, her spirit was better, and even her skin seemed to have become smoother.

“Is it...”

She paused.

“Because of last night?”

Han Yurou nodded.

“It should be. The System must have given out rewards again.”

Han Qing fell silent.

She knew what that meant.

And the source of the rewards was...

Her face turned red again.

“Mom.” Han Yurou looked at her. “What are you thinking about?”

Han Qing shook her head.

“Nothing.”

Han Yurou smiled, her expression a bit mischievous.

“Mom, were you thinking about whether this counts as completing a mission?”

Han Qing glared at her.

“Don't talk nonsense.”

Han Yurou giggled and leaned against her shoulder.

“Mom, you look so pretty when you're shy.”

Han Qing smiled helplessly.

This child was getting better and better with her words.

The two of them got up, washed, and changed clothes.

Throughout the process, the mother and daughter spoke much less than usual.

But that understanding was deeper than ever before.

While Han Qing was changing, Han Yurou watched her in the mirror.

Her mother's figure was truly excellent; although she was nearly thirty-eight, her skin was still firm and her curves were exquisite.

Especially her chest, which was full and perky, much larger than her own.

Han Yurou looked down at herself with some envy, but more of another emotion.

In the living room, Su Yuran was leaning against the sofa reading a book.

It was a romance novel about a domineering CEO and a Cinderella.

She was reading with great interest, turning a page occasionally.

Hearing footsteps, she looked up.

Han Qing and Han Yurou walked out of the bedroom area, both with ruddy complexions, skin glowing with health, and looking radiant.

Su Yuran had a good idea of what had happened.

She smiled and went back to her book.

“Morning,” Han Qing greeted.

“Morning.”

Su Yuran looked up to respond, her gaze lingering on their faces for a second before nonchalantly shifting away.

Han Yurou also smiled at her, a smile that was somewhat meaningful.

Su Yuran saw it but said nothing.

Han Qing and Han Yurou went to the kitchen to get food.

Lin Wanwan and Xu Xue were already in the kitchen preparing breakfast.

“Aunt Qing, Yu Rou, morning.” Lin Wanwan greeted them gently, spatula still in hand.

“Morning,” the two responded.

Xu Xue also greeted them with a smile: “Morning.”

The four of them prepared breakfast together in a harmonious atmosphere.

At breakfast, everyone was present.

Su Yuran, Su Yuling, Lin Wanwan, Xu Xue, Li Ying, Han Qing, Han Yurou, plus Qin Lin—eight people sat around the dining table.

The atmosphere was the same as usual, with everyone chatting and eating.

But Su Yuran noticed that Han Qing and Han Yurou looked exceptionally well today.

Moreover, when the two occasionally met each other's eyes, there was a look of understanding that only they themselves grasped.

She glanced at Qin Lin.

Qin Lin was eating with his head down; sensing her gaze, he looked up and gave her a slight nod, a trace of a smile on his lips.

She continued eating and said nothing.

After the meal, Su Yuran pulled Han Yurou to the side.
