344: Chapter 344 Passenger 015 Qingyue Successfully Gets Pregnant

Qin Lin walked over and stood in front of her. Qing He looked up at him, her eyes very dark and deep.

"Qin Lin."

"Hmm."

"Are you cold? The room temperature was low just now."

"A little."

Qing He reached out and took his hand. Her palms were cool, but warmer than the temperature in the room.

She pressed his hand against her face, closed her eyes for a moment, then let go and began to undress.

Qin Lin watched her movements, recalling Qing Yue's crisp efficiency and Hong Yao's flustered haste.

Qing He was somewhere in between, unhurried and composed.

She took off her clothes one by one, folded them neatly, placed them at the end of the bed, and then lay down to look at him.

"Come."

Qin Lin lay down beside her. Qing He turned on her side and rested her hand on his waist.

Her skin was very cool and thin, with veins gently pulsing beneath it.

Qin Lin's fingers slid from her shoulder to her arm, feeling those subtle pulses.

Her expression did not change, as if bearing and raising children was a matter of course.

Qin Lin lowered his head to kiss her. Qing He closed her eyes, moving her hand from his waist to his back.

That night, Qin Lin stayed in Qing He's room until very late.

She wouldn't lean in his arms and draw circles afterward like Qing Yue, nor would she bury her head in his chest to talk like Hong Yao.

After doing what needed to be done, she would just lie beside him with her eyes closed, breathing evenly, neither asleep nor awake.

Qin Lin turned on his side to look at her. Her eyelashes were long, casting fan-shaped shadows beneath her eyes.

"Qing He."

"Hmm."

"What are you thinking about?"

Qing He opened her eyes and looked at him: "Thinking about what to eat tomorrow morning."

Qin Lin was stunned for a moment, then smiled. Watching him smile, Qing He's lips also curled up slightly.

The Ark sailed slowly in orbit around this planet.

Qin Lin's daily life became extremely routine: wake up in the morning to check the flight path, eat breakfast, and go to the Bridge to handle affairs.

In the afternoon, he would go to the Flower Garden to check on the chinese rose planted by Li Ran, go to the Ecological Plantation to check on the spiritual tree saplings planted by Xu Xue, go to the Medical Room to check the health records updated by Han Qing, and go to the living room to check on the children.

In the evening, he would first go to see Qing Yue, then Hong Yao, and finally Qing He.

Following the frequency suggested by the System, neither more nor less, precise to the hour.

Li Ying said he was "punching in for work."

Qin Lin did not refute this, because he was indeed punching in.

The System generated a "Conception Task Progress Report" every day, which clearly stated the conception window status, optimal time for intercourse, and estimated ovulation date for every passenger.

Looking at that report, Qin Lin felt like a farmer, sowing seeds according to the solar terms, waiting for the autumn harvest.

One day in the Medical Room, Han Qing asked him: "Qin Lin, aren't you tired like this?"

Qin Lin thought for a moment: "My body isn't tired, but my heart is."

Han Qing looked at him, was silent for a moment, and said: "Then don't punch in tonight, take a rest here with me."

Han Qing looked at him; there was weariness in her eyes, but also heartache.

He nodded.

That night, Qin Lin did not go to Qing Yue's room, nor did he go to Hong Yao's or Qing He's rooms.

He stayed in Han Qing's Medical Room, helping her organize medical records, categorize medicines, and wipe down instruments.

The two rarely spoke, but they worked together with tacit understanding.

Han Qing handed him an instrument, and he took it to wipe it clean and put it away; he handed her a medical record, and she took it to sign and file it.

Busy until midnight, Han Qing washed her hands and walked in front of Qin Lin. "Alright, go back to sleep."

Qin Lin stood up and looked at her. Han Qing was half a head shorter than him; when she looked up at him, a few strands of hair fell onto her forehead.

"Aunt Qing."

"Hmm."

"You've worked hard."

Han Qing looked at him, her lips curling up slightly, and reached out to pat his shoulder: "Just knowing that is enough. Go back to sleep; you have to punch in tomorrow."

Qin Lin smiled and turned to leave.

As he walked out of the Medical Room, he looked back. Han Qing stood under the light, wearing a white coat, her hair tied in a low ponytail.

She picked up the teacup on the table and took a sip; the tea had already gone cold, but she didn't mind.

The mist in Room No. 15 was getting thinner and thinner. Han Qing went in once every day to check and record that woman's vital signs, then came out and closed the door.

In her notebook, various data points were changing slowly but steadily.

Her heart rate rose from fifty beats per minute to sixty, her body temperature rose from 36.5 degrees to 37 degrees, and the spiritual power fluctuations turned from faint to significant.

That woman was waking up; the speed was very slow, but she was indeed waking up.

Qin Lin would go to that door every day to stand for a while, not opening it, not going in, just standing there.

He took the white crystal stone out of his pocket and held it in his palm. The crystal stone would glow, very faintly, like a piece of charcoal about to burn out.

The light flickered, its rhythm in sync with the breathing of the woman inside the room. Qin Lin didn't know when she would wake up, but he wasn't in a hurry.

The Ark still had to orbit this planet for a very long time; there was plenty of time to wait.

The System updated the passenger candidate list every day. Qin Lin looked at those dots of light, densely distributed in the southern region.

Some light dots were very bright, representing a high comprehensive rating; some dots were dimmer, representing a lower rating.

He hadn't decided who the next target was yet. There were already three more people on The Ark; if there were any more, there would be enough space, but managing them would be more complicated.

He decided to wait until Qing Yue and the others were pregnant before considering the next batch.

Days passed one by one. The Ark sailed slowly in orbit, and the planet outside the window turned from east to west, from day to night.

Every day, Qin Lin looked at that gray sky, remembering what it was like on Earth after the apocalypse ended.

At that time, the sky was also gray, but later it slowly turned blue, the clouds turned white, and the sunlight turned warm.

The sky of this world would also turn blue after the rifts ended.

The news of Qing Yue's pregnancy came earlier than expected.

That day, Qin Lin was in the Bridge looking at the star map when the System notification sound suddenly rang.

It wasn't that long horn sound, but short and rapid, like the sound of someone knocking on a door.

[Ding! Congratulations, Host! Passenger 015 Qing Yue is successfully pregnant!] [Milestone: First batch of newborns in the Cultivation World (1/3)] [Reward: survival points + 100000, blessing points + 500] [Current survival points: 690069, Current blessing points: 4515] [Physique of all passengers + 3%]

Qin Lin looked at the line of text on the screen and was stunned for a moment. Qing Yue was actually pregnant.

He clicked pause on the navigation console, then got up and walked out of the Bridge.

The door to Qing Yue's room was open. She was sitting on the edge of the bed, her hand on her stomach, head bowed.

Hong Yao was squatting in front of her, looking up at her with bright, sparkling eyes.

Qing He was leaning against the wall, arms crossed, her lips curled slightly.

"You're pregnant." Hong Yao's voice was sharp and bright. "You're really pregnant!"

Qing Yue looked up, saw Qin Lin standing at the door, and her lips curled slightly.
