400: Chapter 400 Being Wanted

Qin Lin was taken aback: "Aunt Qing, why are you dressed like this today?"

Usually, Han Qing wore a white lab coat, occasionally opting for a form-fitting knit sweater, but today she was actually wearing a camisole. This severely clashed with her usual style, and a fire instantly ignited in Qin Lin's heart.

Han Qing turned her head and glanced at him: "It's hot."

Qin Lin glanced at the thermometer; The Ark was kept at a constant temperature of twenty-three degrees.

He opened his mouth to say something, but Han Qing walked over, holding a bowl of soup in her hands: "Drink this."

Qin Lin took the bowl and took a sip. It was pork rib soup, salty and savory: "Delicious."

Han Qing looked at him: "Finish it."

Qin Lin drank the whole bowl of soup. Han Qing took the empty bowl and placed it on the counter, then suddenly leaned in and whispered in his ear: "Come to my room tonight, and I'll let you see how I 'handle' you."

Qin Lin froze, and the bowl in his hand nearly fell to the floor.

Han Qing had already turned back to continue chopping vegetables, as if nothing had happened.

Qin Lin stood in the kitchen, watching her profile, and felt his heart beating fast.

That night, Qin Lin went to Han Qing's room.

She was wearing that black camisole dress, her hair let down, sitting by the window.

Seeing him enter, she stood up and walked over to him: "You've been too tired lately."

Qin Lin looked at her: "Aunt Qing, that thing you said earlier today…"

Han Qing's face flushed slightly, but her gaze did not waver: "I meant it. If you can 'handle' Li Ying, you can 'handle' me too."

Qin Lin looked at her and reached out to pull her into his arms.

She leaned against his chest and looked up at him, a light in her eyes—not shyness, but sincerity: "Qin Lin, you don't have to keep holding on by yourself. We are all here. When you're tired, you can come to us."

Qin Lin looked down at her: "Aunt Qing, you're different today compared to before."

Han Qing smiled: "I used to only be uninhibited in bed, but now I can be uninhibited in daily life too. Your pressure is so high; if I still kept up a facade, when would you ever be able to relax?"

Qin Lin smiled: "Aunt Qing, you're really wonderful."

Han Qing reached out and punched his chest lightly: "Stop sweet-talking. Don't think about leaving tonight until you've 'filled' me."

Qin Lin did not leave Han Qing's room that night.

The next morning, when Qin Lin walked out of Han Qing's room, his spirits were noticeably better.

He ran into Su Yuran in the hallway. Su Yuran looked at him: "You look different today."

Qin Lin touched his face: "How so?"

Su Yuran thought for a moment: "Your eyes are brighter, and the corners of your mouth are turned up. It's like… you've been fed."

Qin Lin paused, then laughed. It was actually the others who had been 'fed,' as they were all 'full': "Yuran, you're learning how to joke, too."

Su Yuran's mouth curled up slightly: "I learned it from you."

Qin Lin looked at her and felt that life on The Ark was getting better and better.

Li Ying's flirtatious remarks, Han Qing's openness, Su Yuran's teasing—every woman was using her own way to help him relax.

Lin Wanwan was also saying flirtatious things.

That afternoon, Qin Lin went to her room to see the new sweater she had knitted, and she suddenly said: "Qin Lin, do you know? I was thinking of you while I was knitting."

Qin Lin looked at her: "Thinking about what?"

Lin Wanwan lowered her head, blushing: "Thinking about when you come to my room tonight, whether I can knit you into my body, just like I knit this sweater."

Qin Lin froze, the sweater in his hand nearly falling to the floor.

Lin Wanwan looked up at him, her face very red, but her eyes bright: "Li Ying and Aunt Qing said it, so I want to say it too."

Qin Lin pulled her into his arms: "Wanwan, you've changed today too."

Lin Wanwan leaned against his chest: "Is changing bad?"

Qin Lin lowered his head and kissed her forehead: "It's good."

Liu Ruyan said in the living room: "Qin Lin, have you been very tired lately?"

Qin Lin sat down beside her: "A little."

Liu Ruyan patted her thigh: "Lie down."

Qin Lin was taken aback: "What?"

Liu Ruyan looked at him: "Lie down, I'll massage your head. Don't overthink it, it's just a head massage."

Qin Lin hesitated, but lay down, resting his head on her lap.

Liu Ruyan's fingers pressed against his temples with just the right amount of pressure: "Qin Lin, Li Ying said that the hardest thing she's 'handled' recently is you. She said you don't just 'handle' well, you also have stamina."

Qin Lin closed his eyes, the corners of his mouth turning up: "What else did she say?"

Liu Ruyan's hand paused for a moment: "She also said that you haven't 'handled' her for a long time. She told you not to 'handle' anything else tonight, just her."

Qin Lin laughed: "Did you all plan this?"

Liu Ruyan blinked: "Guess."

Qin Lin lay on her lap, feeling that he hadn't been this relaxed in a long time.

The women on The Ark were all using their own ways to help him relieve pressure, some by teasing him with flirtatious words, others by using their bodies to help him relax.

He closed his eyes, feeling her fingers gently massaging his temples, and felt that the burden on his shoulders was being shared by someone.

Su Han was the last one to join.

She was usually the quietest and the coldest.

One night, Qin Lin went to her room. Su Han was sitting by the window drinking tea. Seeing him enter, she put down her teacup: "Qin Lin, Li Ying asked me to tell you something. I don't quite understand it; she told me to ask you for guidance."

Qin Lin sat down across from her: "What is it?"

Su Han looked into his eyes: "She said, 'Come and "handle" me tonight, don't let her be the only one who gets to be filled.'"

Qin Lin looked at her, unable to react for a long time. Su Han's face flushed slightly.

Qin Lin laughed: "Su Han, you can say things like that too?"

Su Han picked up her teacup and took a sip: "Li Ying taught me. She said you'd be happy if I said it like that."

Qin Lin reached out and took her hand: "I am quite happy."

Su Han's mouth curled up slightly, and she didn't pull her hand away.

Days on The Ark continued to move forward, and Qin Lin's exhaustion slowly dissipated amidst the women's flirtatious words and care.

Every morning he woke up to new surprises: Li Ying's notes, Han Qing's soup, Liu Ruyan's head massage, Su Han's tea.

Every woman was using her own way to tell him: You don't have to hold on alone; we are all here.

Sometimes, when walking in the hallway, Qin Lin would stop and look at the starry sky outside the window, feeling that he had been too foolish in the past.

Holding up The Ark alone, carrying the pressure alone.

He had forgotten that on The Ark were his wives who were in the same boat as him, and every one of them was willing to help him share the burden.

He remembered what Ling said: "The Ark will downgrade."

He still couldn't let The Ark downgrade, but he was no longer afraid.

Because they were on The Ark.
