48: Senior is so nice

Lin Wanwan's gaze involuntarily lingered on him, from his chest to his abdomen, and then to... She abruptly looked away, her heart beating so fast it felt like it would jump out.

She remembered what she had seen when she helped him apply medicine before.

"Wanwan," Qin Lin suddenly spoke.

"Hmm?"

"Come here."

Lin Wanwan was stunned for a moment, then understood what he meant.

She hesitated for a few seconds, slowly released her hands from her knees, leaned forward, and moved toward Qin Lin in the water.

The bottom of the bathtub was very slippery; her movements were clumsy, and she almost fell.

Qin Lin reached out to steady her, pulling her into his arms in the process.

"Ah..."

Lin Wanwan gave a soft cry, falling onto Qin Lin's lap.

Now, there was no distance left between them.

She could clearly feel the temperature of Qin Lin's body.

She could feel his firm thigh muscles.

She could feel the strength of his arm wrapped around her waist.

Lin Wanwan froze completely, not daring to move an inch.

"Relax."

Qin Lin spoke in her ear, his breath warm against her sensitive earlobe.

Lin Wanwan shrank her neck, her voice trembling:

"I... I don't know what to do..."

"Follow your feelings."

Qin Lin's hand gently stroked her back under the water, from her shoulder blades to the small of her back, his movements tender.

"Tell me if it's uncomfortable; we'll stop if you don't like it."

Lin Wanwan's body slowly relaxed, leaning softly against his chest.

The water rippled as their bodies pressed closely together in the tub.

Qin Lin lowered his head and gently kissed her shoulder.

It was very light, like a feather brushing past.

Lin Wanwan's body trembled, letting out a kitten-like whimper.

"Qin Lin..." she called his name softly.

"Hmm?"

"I... I want to look at you," she said.

Qin Lin let go slightly, letting her turn around to face him.

The distance was so close they could count each other's eyelashes.

Lin Wanwan looked at Qin Lin's face, his deep eyes, his straight nose, and his slightly pursed lips.

She reached out and gently touched his face.

Her fingertips traced his brow bone, his cheekbones, and his jawline.

"Qin Lin," she called out again.

"I'm here."

"I... I like you," she said very earnestly.

Qin Lin smiled, took her hand, and kissed it at his lips.

"I know."

Then he lowered his head and kissed her lips.

It was light at first, just a touch of lips against lips.

Lin Wanwan's lips were very soft, slightly cool, with the faint floral scent of body wash.

She was a bit stiff at first, but soon relaxed and responded clumsily.

Lin Wanwan was kissed into a daze, her hands involuntarily wrapping around his neck as she pressed her body closer.

The water rippled and splashed with their movements.

When the kiss ended, both were breathless.

Lin Wanwan's face was as red as a ripe apple, her eyes watery and blurred, her lips slightly swollen and glistening enticingly.

"Qin Lin..." she panted, "I... I seem to be a bit... hot..."

It wasn't the heat of the water.

Her skin was burning, her chest was heaving, and her heart was beating like a drum.

At one point, Lin Wanwan let out a soft moan, her body tensing up.

"Don't... don't touch there..."

She protested in a small voice, but it was soft and lacked any conviction.

Lin Wanwan made sounds of her own, her body giving an honest reaction.

"Do you like it?"

Qin Lin asked in her ear, his voice low and raspy.

Lin Wanwan couldn't speak; she just nodded and buried her face in the crook of his shoulder.

Qin Lin's hand continued downward.

"Qin Lin... no..." she said with a sob in her voice.

"It'll be better in a moment."

..."Qin Lin..." she said softly, her voice hoarse.

"We... we really..."

"Yes," Qin Lin kissed her forehead, "Really."

Lin Wanwan buried her face in his chest and cried softly.

It wasn't sadness; it was relief, joy, and a release of some indescribable emotion.

Qin Lin held her, gently patting her back.

Once Lin Wanwan had finished crying, Qin Lin carried her out of the tub, wrapped her in a large towel, dried her off, and carried her back to the bed.

Lying on the bed, Lin Wanwan curled into Qin Lin's arms like a kitten that had found its nest.

Moist.

This Senior really fits that word too well.

It was the only word Qin Lin could think of.

It suited the feeling from just now perfectly.

Lin Wanwan looked up at him:

"What... what is our relationship now?"

"What do you think?" Qin Lin asked back.

"I don't know," Lin Wanwan said honestly.

"Boyfriend and girlfriend? Or... temporary partners in the Apocalypse?"

Qin Lin thought for a moment and said, "We are companions, people who like each other, and people willing to walk this path together. The title isn't important; being together is."

Qin Lin felt like he was PUA-ing her.

Lin Wanwan nodded, accepting this explanation.

"Qin Lin," she called again.

"Hmm?"

"Thank you," she said. "For making me feel... that I'm still alive."

Qin Lin suddenly said something that Lin Wanwan found baffling.

"Wanwan, do you know how many 'Points' it cost to buy your clothes?"

"Ah? Didn't you say sixty-nine? What about it?"

"Right, 69 Points."

Outside the window, the wind and snow continued, but the direction of travel had long since changed... while in Room 001, Su Yuran lay on the bed, then turned over and closed her eyes.

She made a decision: tomorrow, she would properly "interrogate" Qin Lin and ask him how it felt.

After all, this concerned her future "happiness."
