188: Chapter 188 If it's not true, then it's not true.

Bai Wanwan's chest heaved with anger. After glancing around, she quickly snatched up a freshly peeled wild boar hide that had been lying on the ground, ready to be discarded.

She flung the boar hide out the door, spreading it over the sewage, and then stepped onto it to walk out.

The Females watched her storm out, completely unfazed. They remained huddled together, still intent on mocking Bai Wanwan.

"Think it's funny?" Bai Wanwan's gaze turned icy.

"Outsider Female, the Golden Lion Tribe isn't a place just any beastman can waltz into. This place isn't for you. Leave now, you hear?"

A tall, sturdy Female puffed out her chest, looking down scornfully at the delicate Bai Wanwan.

Bai Wanwan showed no fear. A faint smile curved her lips. "Oh? So all this is to drive me away?"

"Yes! If you don't leave, we'll be dumping sewage at your doorstep every single day."

They expected to frighten Bai Wanwan, but she remained utterly unmoved.

"Well then, let's try it. Let's see who gives up first, you or me."

The Females were visibly taken aback.

While they were stunned, Bai Wanwan had already quickly navigated to the medicine section in her mind.

Originally, she had wanted to save her points. Luckily, these medicinal powders weren't expensive; a few dozen points could buy one portion.

Their two households only had four Males in total. Working together to catch fish was barely safe enough.

She couldn't rely on their protection forever, never even stepping outside her door.

So today, she absolutely had to teach these Females a lesson. Otherwise, incidents like this would just keep happening endlessly.

Only by making these Females truly afraid would she be able to walk out alone in the future without anyone daring to lay a finger on her.

Her hand reached for the Itch Powder...

"Host, are you going to exchange for Itch Powder?"

Bai Wanwan communicated telepathically with peanut, "You saw it too. If I don't fight back, they plan to dump sewage at my doorstep every day."

"I heard them. But do you remember what I said? There's no antidote. If you get it on yourself, it'll be the same."

"I know."

She would be careful. But if she did accidentally get some on herself, she was willing to drag these Females down with her.

Gritting her teeth, she pressed the exchange button.

A small bottle appeared in the palm of her hand.

Unscrewing the cap, she said to the Females, "I hope you can keep smiling like you just were for the next few days."

As she spoke, she gripped the bottle and quickly poured it out, moving her hand to ensure every Female present was dusted with the Itch Powder.

"What are you doing?"

They saw purple powder drifting from her hand.

Bai Wanwan ignored them.

The powder-sprinkling took three seconds.

Then she whirled around and ran back inside, putting distance between herself and the powder.

"How long until the Itch Powder takes effect?"

Bai Wanwan tossed the bottle into the system's recycle bin and quickly checked herself for any stray powder.

"Very soon."

No sooner had peanut's words fallen than the Females standing not far away began to scratch themselves.

"Ouch, so itchy!"

After one Female started scratching the back of her neck, the others nearby also began to squirm. Some even pulled open their beast skin garments quite indecently, reaching their hands under their armpits.

In less than a minute, the Females were making utter fools of themselves.

"So itchy! Scratch my back, quick!"

"I'm itchy too."

"Ah! So itchy! What's going on?"

After scratching for a while, the Females finally remembered Bai Wanwan's earlier actions.

"It was Bai Wanwan!"

As one, they lifted their heads to glare at Bai Wanwan.

What they saw was Bai Wanwan's figure darting back into the house, followed by a loud *bang* as the door slammed shut.

"peanut, I haven't had any reaction yet. That means I didn't get any on me, right?"

"Don't worry, Host. If there's no reaction by now, you didn't get any on you."

Bai Wanwan breathed a sigh of relief. Although she had been prepared for a costly victory, it was definitely best to avoid harming herself if possible.

She pressed against the door, watching them curse and scratch until bloody marks appeared on their faces.

One Female, cursing all the while, started walking towards Bai Wanwan's house. "Bai Wanwan, what did you just throw at us?"

"You wicked Female! Are you trying to kill us?"

She ran to the doorway, but her foot slipped on the sewage.

*Thud!*

The Female fell heavily to the ground, her half-open mouth landing squarely in a pile of excrement.

"Ah!"

The Female scrambled up shrieking, but the more she struggled, the more she slipped. She fell several times, covering herself in filth before finally managing to stand.

"Itchy! I'm so itchy I could die!"

"Bai Wanwan, come out here right now!"

Bai Wanwan watched their miserable state with immense satisfaction.

Standing inside the doorway with her arms crossed, she projected her voice loudly and clearly, "Too much sewage at the door. Today is not a good day for going out."

Having said that, she turned decisively, not wanting to listen to their incessant chattering and complaints any longer.

The commotion outside was so loud it woke Shi Hua.

She had already made her way into the courtyard. "Sister, what's happening outside? I think I heard some Females crying out?"

"Mm, you heard right. But it has nothing to do with us. Just ignore them."

Helping Shi Hua sit down, The Cubs also bounced out of the house, frolicking in the courtyard.

Once seated, Shi Hua noticed the sounds outside growing louder, the Females' wails becoming more and more pitiful.

She tentatively turned her head. "Sister, this... we really don't need to do anything?"

Bai Wanwan picked up a bowl of water from the nearby stone table and took a sip. "Mm, no need."

Shi Hua seemed restless and uneasy. Only Bai Wanwan remained perfectly calm, as if she couldn't hear the screams and curses outside at all.

It didn't last long. The Females probably couldn't bear the potency of the Itch Powder and went to seek help from the Clan Witch.

If it were something else, the Clan Witch might have been able to help.

But this was a system product, explicitly stated to have no antidote. The Clan Witch likely had no way to save them.

Sure enough, in less than an hour...

The door to Bai Wanwan's house was pounded on again.

Shi Hua looked a bit nervous, her eyes turning to Bai Wanwan.

Unconvinced, Shi Hua stood up immediately after Bai Wanwan rose to leave, following closely behind her.

The Male voice outside was rough and wild, clearly brimming with fury.

Bai Wanwan pulled the door open directly. The fist aimed at the door missed, almost hitting Bai Wanwan, and was hastily withdrawn.

Upon seeing Bai Wanwan's delicate, pretty face, the Male's aggressive demeanor visibly diminished a few degrees.

"What do you want with me?"

"You... what did you use? Our Females have scratched their faces raw!"

Bai Wanwan shrugged, looking utterly innocent. "What did I use? They were the ones who came here and dumped sewage at my door. A whole group of Females ganging up on me. I couldn't out-argue them, so I just shut the door. What's wrong with that?"

"This..."

The Male's brain seemed to short-circuit, unsure how to respond.

Only then did Bai Wanwan get a good look at the Females outside. Each one was disheveled, faces covered in scratches, clothes in disarray...

She almost couldn't hold back a laugh. They looked utterly pathetic.

The very same Females who had been so dignified just moments ago now looked like lunatics escaped from an asylum. The key point was, they seemed completely unaware, still wholly focused on scratching their itches.

The scene was utterly ridiculous.

"Don't believe her! It was her! She threw something at us, that's why we're like this!"

A Female from the back shrieked hoarsely.

Bai Wanwan blinked, her innocent expression hiding a barely perceptible hint of schadenfreude.

"I said it wasn't me. If you don't believe me, you can go find the Tribe Chief to settle this fairly."
