355: Chapter 355 Tiger Tribe

On the way, Yin Ze noticed Bai Wanwan kept looking at him.

He turned to look at her, "Why do you keep staring at me?"

Bai Wanwan raised her eyebrows high, looking extremely happy.

"I've discovered you're a good Male with a tough mouth but a soft heart."

"Hmph, only realizing it now." Even though he said that, the corners of his mouth curved up.

Yin Ze had considered transforming into his original form and flying away with her.

Even though that was a privilege reserved for his Consort, he thought if it were Bai Wanwan, he would be willing to let her ride on his back.

But he didn't know the destination; he could only take Bai Wanwan to the Underground River where he found her.

"Is this where you found me?"

Bai Wanwan looked at the rushing waters of the Underground River.

Her swimming skills were not good at all, and to have been washed all the way to such a place was definitely not a matter of one or two minutes. That she was still alive when Yin Ze found her must have been due to some incredible luck from a past life?

A wave of fear washed over her heart. She followed behind Yin Ze, walking forward along the Underground River.

After walking for a long time, there was no longer a path in the Cave wide enough for people to pass through.

"We can't go any further."

Yin Ze, helpless, turned to look at her.

He belonged to a flying race; not only did he have no advantage in water, compared to ordinary Beastmen, he was actually at a disadvantage.

Bai Wanwan wasn't discouraged. She even probed the Underground River, but the water here was too deep, and she didn't dare venture in recklessly.

What if she got washed away to another place again?

She had no choice but to retreat back. "Yin Ze, do you know where this Underground River leads to?"

"I haven't explored it, but since we're already at this location, it should connect to a river nearby."

"Then if we go out and look, can we find it?"

Yin Ze slightly raised his head. "If it were a Land Beastmen, it would probably be very hard to find. But I am a Flying Beastman, I can."

"Alright then. Let's go out. We'll fly up and look. If there's a river, we can follow it and search. We should be able to find some clues."

After the two discussed it, they retraced their steps together along the original path.

Once out of the Cave, Yin Ze transformed into his original form.

Bai Wanwan looked at the phoenix before her, her mouth agape in shock.

So beautiful!

She had only heard of creatures like phoenixes in legends; she never thought she would one day see the real entity.

She couldn't help but raise her hand, stroking his fiery red feathers that were as lustrous and smooth as satin.

Yin Ze felt the Little Female's soft palm touch one of his most sensitive spots.

His body jerked violently. Bai Wanwan noticed and quickly withdrew her hand. "What's wrong? Did I make you uncomfortable?"

Yin Ze shook his head, his voice hoarse, not turning to look at her. "You... get on."

After acknowledging, Bai Wanwan clambered onto his back using all four limbs.

With every movement of the Female's soft body, he could clearly feel her softness.

All the feathers on the phoenix's body tensed up.

"I'm ready, let's go."

As soon as Bai Wanwan's words landed, Yin Ze, who could no longer bear the stimulation, immediately spread his wings and soared sharply into the sky.

Against the azure sky, the fiery red phoenix raised its head and let out a cry.

Zhu Xiu and Jin Yi, who were lingering nearby, heard the commotion and looked up at the sky.

They only saw a fiery red streak piercing straight into the clouds.

"There's a Tribe nearby. We can go ask them if they've rescued Wan Wan..."

Zhu Xiu's entire demeanor grew increasingly gloomy. If he couldn't find Wan Wan soon, he felt like destroying the whole world.

Bai Wanwan hugged the phoenix's neck. The wind roared in her ears, yet it gave her a sense of freedom and exhilaration she had never felt before.

Yin Ze sensed her mood and immediately dove down, flying with even more vigor.

Bai Wanwan couldn't help but laugh. "Yin Ze, higher, a little higher..."

Perhaps because she was on Yin Ze's back, she knew he wouldn't throw her off.

She was having a particularly wonderful time.

Until a river appeared within her field of vision.

She excitedly hugged Yin Ze's neck and shouted, "That should be the river, right?"

Yin Ze hummed in agreement. "Let's go down and take a look."

Yin Ze slowed his speed, flying upstream along the river.

"You were washed down by the river water, which means you should be from a Tribe upstream."

She nodded in agreement. "Then let's follow the river upstream."

To find clues, Yin Ze deliberately flew very slowly, occasionally circling for a while along the way to search for nearby Tribes.

They flew like this for two days. At night, Yin Ze would find a suitable Cave for her to rest safely in.

Even though she wasn't walking on foot, she had to hold onto Yin Ze tightly and expend energy searching everywhere.

By the end of the day, she was also very tired.

After checking the Cave's safety, Yin Ze laid out the beast skin. "Go to sleep."

Bai Wanwan was truly exhausted. After eating some Dried meat, she didn't even bother washing up. She nestled into the beast skin and closed her eyes.

"Wan Wan, we've searched all around the river. Further upstream is a desert; there are almost no Tribes there."

Although Bai Wanwan was sleepy, she didn't fall asleep immediately.

"I also think it's unlikely I came from there. Then let's go back and search, look for Tribes on both sides of the river."

"During these past two days, haven't you felt any familiarity when seeing these places?"

"No..." Bai Wanwan responded gloomily, her nasal voice heavy, clearly not very conscious anymore.

Yin Ze glanced at her. "Then you..."

In the end, he didn't ask the question that came to his lips: did she have a Beast Husband?

She didn't remember anything. What answer could he possibly get by asking?

At dawn, the aroma of roasted rabbit meat woke her.

Yin Ze was focused on rotating the branch and adding firewood, the morning light flowing over his sturdy shoulders and back.

Seeing her awake, Yin Ze took the roasted meat and came to her side. "Hungry?"

Bai Wanwan yawned. "Mhm, a bit hungry. I'll go wash up and get ready. You eat first."

After she finished washing up, Yin Ze, worried her teeth might not be strong enough to chew, thoughtfully tore the meat into pieces and placed it on clean leaves, waiting for her to return and eat.

Over these past few days, Bai Wanwan saw clearly how meticulously Yin Ze took care of her.

But the four faces in her mind prevented her from responding to his kindness.

"What are you thinking about? Come eat quickly."

Bai Wanwan didn't dwell on it any further and took the meat to eat.

After finishing the meal, the two set off again.

This time, Yin Ze chose the forest on the right-hand side and headed deep into the forest...

After flying like this for most of the day, Yin Ze looked down at the Tribe below. "Wan Wan, this is the Tiger Clan Tribe. Do you want to go in and take a look?"

"Let's take a look..."

"Alright, hold on tight."

As soon as Yin Ze finished speaking, he dove sharply downward.

They transformed into human forms outside the Tiger Clan Tribe.

Bai Wanwan looked at the massive city ahead; its scale was completely incomparable to the Peacock Tribe.

The wall alone gave off a majestic and imposing sense of oppression.

The Tribe's gates were wide open, with Beastmen coming and going, presenting a scene of prosperity.

Yin Ze led Bai Wanwan inside. "Let's go in first to make inquiries. This is a Super Tribe; information flows freely here. It'll be easy to get the news you want."

"Mhm, okay."

Qiu Rong had just come out of a stoneware shop. Raising his eyes, he caught sight of a familiar figure.

But in just a glance, that figure turned into a side alley.

He instinctively took two steps forward but immediately stopped.

So what if it was Bai Wanwan?

Besides, the Male beside that Female was neither Xin Feng nor Zhu Xiu, but an unfamiliar face...
