The palace was not made of brick and stone, but of some kind of massive transparent crystal. Like the purest crystal, it refracted the ever-changing light from the surface, shimmering with radiant colors and exquisite beauty.

Around the palace, beautiful merman guards with human torsos and fish tails patrolled elegantly and vigilantly, holding ivory-white bone spears.

“It's so beautiful here...” Bai Wanwan was stunned by the sight before her, temporarily forgetting the danger as she murmured.

Jiao Yin swam with her toward the palace entrance, his voice sounding in her ear, “This is the royal palace of our Jiaoren Clan. It is very safe; you can stay here with peace of mind.”

Jiao Yin pursed his lips, “Actually... I'm not called Luo Qing. My real name is Jiao Yin. I hid my identity from you before to find my naughty younger sister. I'm sorry.”
