4: Chapter 4 Forced Beastman

The Clan Leader rushed forward and asked urgently, "Clan Witch, what is going on?"

The other beastmen who were preparing to leave also halted their steps and turned their heads to look over one after another.

The Clan Witch ignored the Clan Leader, her hands trembling as she held up the broken stones. A terrifying light burst from her cloudy eyes.

"There are only two possibilities for the female stone to shatter: either the stone's energy has been exhausted..."

Her eyes stared unblinkingly at Bai Wanwan, as if looking at some rare and precious treasure.

Hu Ya had just breathed a half-sigh of relief when she heard the Clan Witch's voice suddenly rise: "But there is only one possibility that could cause a red light explosion."

A withered finger pointed tremblingly at Bai Wanwan. "She is a Sacred Female protected by the beast god!"

Deathly silence.

Then, the entire Witch's Cave erupted into an earth-shattering clamor.

"A Sacred Female?"

The Clan Leader staggered back two steps, his old face flushing red. "The legendary... Sacred Female that only Super Tribes possess?"

Bai Wanwan smiled calmly amidst the overwhelming exclamations.

So this is what acting cool feels like; it's actually not bad.

The way the Clan Leader looked at her now was like a hungry wolf seeing a plump lamb.

Tsk tsk...

Unfortunately, she would never be that beast waiting to be slaughtered.

"Impossible!"

Hu Ya's voice was so sharp it almost pierced the silence of the Witch's Cave. Her face was deathly pale, and her nails dug deep into her palms.

"Lord Clan Witch, Bai Wanwan was tested at birth. If she really were a Sacred Female, how could she have had low fertility back then?"

The Clan Witch glanced at her, her withered fingers stroking the shattered female stone. "Fertility in the Cubs stage is not yet stable. If everyone still has doubts, I can prepare another female stone for verification in three days."

"No need," Bai Wanwan spoke up directly to stop her.

She tilted the corners of her eyes slightly, her gaze drifting lightly onto Hu Ya. "Since you're so concerned about my affairs, I'll prove it to you right now, so you understand that my fertility is simply stronger than yours."

Hearing this, the Clan Witch was somewhat stunned. "How will you prove it?"

As far as she knew, only a female stone could test a Female's fertility.

"Clan Witch, don't believe her! She just doesn't want to go to the Female Cave, so she intentionally destroyed that female stone."

The Clan Witch's mouth twitched. How could a female stone be destroyed at will by a Female?

The other beastmen didn't believe it either. If someone said Hu Ya was a Sacred Female, they might believe it.

But Bai Wanwan... how could she possibly be a Sacred Female?

Hu Ya turned around and glared at Bai Wanwan. "Bai Wanwan, didn't you deceive everyone just because you didn't want to go to the Female Cave? But by telling such a lie, you'll still be sent there in the end."

"Who said I lied?"

A beautiful curve formed on Bai Wanwan's red lips as she raised her hand to stroke her flat belly. "I'm already pregnant with Cubs."

What?

The Inferior Female is pregnant with Cubs?

All the beastmen in the Witch's Cave gasped in shock.

Especially Hu Ya's flat face; it looked particularly ridiculous.

The Clan Witch rushed forward, her hand like withered bark reaching into Bai Wanwan's beast skin skirt without a word.

After three breaths, the Clan Witch's cloudy eyes suddenly burst with light. "Bai Wanwan is indeed pregnant with Cubs!"

These words were like a thunderclap.

One must know that even a Female with superior fertility needs to mate day and night with her Beast Husband, and with good luck, she might conceive within half a year.

Yet Bai Wanwan had just reached adulthood and hadn't even undergone the Pairing Ceremony...

"Whose Cubs are in your belly?" Hu Ya questioned shrilly, her fingernail almost poking the tip of Bai Wanwan's nose.

It couldn't be Qiu Rong's. It was impossible for Qiu Rong to mate with Bai Wanwan.

But Bai Wanwan had told her that she only liked Qiu Rong.

Bai Wanwan lazily brushed her finger aside. "Does it have anything to do with you?"

She yawned. Having been tormented too much last night, she no longer had the patience to deal with Hu Ya.

"If the testing is over, I'm going back to sleep."

Yawning, Bai Wanwan turned and left, completely ignoring the group of beastmen in the Witch's Cave who were too stunned to speak.

The Clan Leader blocked her path, his old face smiling like a blooming chrysanthemum. "Wan Wan, the caves for underage Females are too crowded. The largest Stone House on the back mountain has already been prepared for you."

Hu Ya was instantly enraged upon hearing this. The Clan Leader had clearly said that Stone House was hers!

"Clan Leader!" She trembled with rage. "You clearly promised me..."

"Ahem!" The Clan Leader coughed to hide his embarrassment. "Your Stone House is right next door."

Seeing that Hu Ya was about to lash out again, he immediately put on a stern face. "Tribe rules: those with the best fertility enjoy the best treatment!"

Bai Wanwan watched this face-changing drama with cold eyes.

When the Clan Leader eagerly led the way, she didn't even bother to give him a glance.

"Wan Wan, whose Cubs are in your womb?"

Bai Wanwan shrugged. "I don't know."

The Clan Leader's mouth twitched, but what he valued was Bai Wanwan's status as a Sacred Female; he had only asked in passing.

The Clan Leader continued to chatter, "These stone walls are warm in winter and cool in summer. Look at how spacious this Stone House is. In the future, if you give birth to several litters of Cubs..."

"Are you finished?" Bai Wanwan interrupted him. "I'm tired and want to sleep."

The Clan Leader's face stiffened, and he hurriedly called for people to carry in over a dozen Ermine skins, piles of Dried meat, and fresh Berries.

Seeing that Bai Wanwan remained indifferent, he suddenly shouted toward the outside of the cave, "Come in! From now on, Wan Wan is your Female, and this will be your home!"
