To buy them time, Zhu Xiu used his massive beast form to block the pursuing Wandering Beasts from reaching Xin Feng and Bai Wanwan.

Yin Da erupted in fury. His claws slashed through the air, carrying a sharp, murderous intent.

In response, Zhu Xiu raised his long tail and swept it out horizontally.

Bai Wanwan couldn't see anything. She was only caught in the shockwave of the powerful collision of forces, closing her eyes in discomfort.

The anger on Yin Da's face instantly turned to shock. "You've been hiding your strength?"

Zhu Xiu's increased strength came from the energy stone, but he wouldn't tell Yin Da that.

His silence was interpreted by Yin Da as confirmation. "Zhu Xiu, I took you in. I made you the Second Leader of the Wandering Beast City. In the Wandering Beast City, you could do whatever you wanted. Why betray me? For her?"

Yin Da pointed at Bai Wanwan, his gaze sweeping over her as well.

He hated Zhu Xiu for betraying him, and he hated Bai Wanwan even more for deceiving him.

All the Wandering Beasts threw back their heads and howled wildly, charging forward in a frenzied, excited rush.

Zhu Xiu warily shifted his beast form, shielding Bai Wanwan behind him. He glanced sideways at Xin Feng and said, "Xin Feng, protect Wan Wan well. If there's a chance, break through with her."

Xin Feng watched the charging Wandering Beasts and took a few steps back. "Alright!"

Bai Wanwan's expression was more serious than ever before. She didn't want anything to happen to either of them.

But with dozens of Wandering Beasts in front of them, how could they fight?

Xin Feng, carrying her, warily watched the nearby Wandering Beasts and slowly retreated.

His beast form rapidly expanded. He raised his head and roared at the sky, then charged fiercely toward Zhu Xiu.

Before the many Beastmen could react, he swiftly approached Bai Wanwan, picked her up from the ground with his mouth, turned, and ran.

Bai Wanwan raised her knife to strike, but a familiar voice sounded by her ear. "It's me."
