442: Chapter 442
The leading Bay Crocodile spoke arrogantly, "What Female? Never heard of her. Get out of these waters immediately! Or we'll tear you to pieces and feed you to the fish!"
The other Bay Crocodiles also let out threatening roars, baring their snowy white fangs. Their massive tails slapped the sea surface, sending up huge sprays of water.
They had no intention of communicating; they only wanted to drive them away.
Yan Lie's explosive temper was instantly ignited. "The Bay Crocodiles are notoriously arrogant and unreasonable. Let's just fight our way through."
As he spoke, the high-level Innate Ability belonging to the Orange Tier began to release from his body.
The other several Males had clearly lost their patience as well, just like Yan Lie.
Wan Wan had been missing for too long, and they were burning with anxiety.
Seeing the killing intent released from the Males before him, a fierce light flashed in the leading Bay Crocodile's eyes as he roared, "Seeking death!"
With that, he swung his massive body and lashed his tail directly and fiercely at Xin Feng, who was at the front. The attack was swift and lethal!
Zhu Xiu's eyes were cold. The moment the Bay Crocodile launched its attack on Xin Feng, his Beast Form rapidly moved behind the Bay Crocodile. His long snake tail coiled around it, and his sharp fangs struck like lightning at the gaps between the scales under the Bay Crocodile's armpit.
That was a place where the crocodile's defense was relatively weak!
Puchi!
Pitch-black poisonous light instantly sank in!
"Aow!"
That Bay Crocodile let out a shrill scream, and the wound rapidly turned black and began to rot.
He didn't even have time to react before his life came to a swift end.
Killing the Bay Crocodile provoked the wrath of the rest, and the battle erupted instantly!
Jin Yi transformed into a massive Golden Lion, roaring as he pounced on another Bay Crocodile, his sharp claws and teeth tearing through the tough scales.
Yan Lie and Xin Feng relied on their extreme speed to weave between several Bay Crocodiles, their sharp claws leaving bone-deep gashes on their bodies!
Zhu Xiu's figure was elusive. Every time he appeared, it was accompanied by a flash of pitch-black poisonous light, precisely attacking the Bay Crocodiles' joints, eyes, and other vital spots.
The King Cobra's deadly venom was something even the Bay Crocodiles couldn't withstand. They quickly lost their fighting capacity, rolling in the seawater in agony.
However, the Wane Clan had thick skin and tough flesh, possessed tenacious vitality, and held the advantage in numbers.
The reef area turned into a bloody battlefield.
Roars, screams, the sound of energy collisions, and the crashing of waves intertwined!
"Roar!" A deafening roar filled with endless rage came from the direction of the bay.
That sound contained a terrifying pressure that caused the sea surface to vibrate.
A massive dark shadow, more than three times larger than an ordinary Bay Crocodile, was charging rapidly toward the battlefield, carrying a towering wave.
"You killed my clansmen... you all... must die!" The Bay Crocodile King's violent intent impacted the minds of Zhu Xiu and the others like something physical!
"Not good, it's a Chi-Tier Male, let's go!"
Yin Ze, who was floating in the air observing the situation, immediately dove down upon seeing this.

The prelude to the Rainy Season began with a sudden, torrential downpour.
Raindrops as large as beans hammered against the roof, making a dull and dense drumming sound.
The world outside the cave was soon shrouded in a white mist of water, and low-lying areas in the Tribe had already begun to accumulate muddy puddles.
Jiao Yin rushed into the cave wrapped in a damp, cold chill, carrying a freshly hunted horned sheep on his shoulder whose fur was soaked through.
"The rain is too heavy, the prey are all hiding," he wiped the rainwater from his face and tossed the prey onto a stone slab in the corner, his brow furrowed. "This isn't enough to eat through the Snow Season; I have to go out again."
He nimbly picked up a piece of dry beast skin to wipe the moisture from his body, and once finished, prepared to leave again.
"Jiao Yin! Wait!"
Bai Wanwan hurriedly took a step forward, her hand stopping halfway through the gesture.
She looked at Jiao Yin's profile, which appeared even more handsome after being dampened by the rain. The phrase "we aren't short of food" rolled around on the tip of her tongue a few times before she finally swallowed it back down.
The system space was her biggest secret; it was too complicated to explain, and she feared it might bring unnecessary trouble.
In the moment she hesitated, Jiao Yin had already pushed the door open again. "Wan Wan, take good care of yourself and The Cubs, I'll be back soon."
The tall figure disappeared into the curtain of rain once more.
Bai Wanwan stood where she was, watching his figure vanish.
Only then did she turn around and walk back into the room.
The room was lined with thick, dry hay and beast skins. Four fluffy little fellows were huddled together, sleeping soundly.
The largest of The Cubs was sprawled out, revealing a snowy white, soft belly; the medium-sized cub was curled up with its head resting on another cub's leg; the smallest, Snowball, had buried its entire body into Hua Han's arms, leaving only a small tuft of white fur and a slightly twitching pink nose visible.
Hua Han sat beside The Cubs, carefully using a bone needle to mend a small beast skin garment that had been torn while the little ones were playing.
His movements were gentle and his gaze focused, occasionally reaching out to brush away Snowball's little paws when they rubbed against his leg.
The firelight flickered, reflecting off his handsome profile.
Seeing this scene, a thick sense of warmth and gratitude welled up in Bai Wanwan's heart.
Hua Han's dedication to The Cubs far exceeded her expectations.
From feeding and cleaning to coaxing them to sleep and handling small disputes between them, he did everything with patience and meticulous care.
No wonder The Cubs stuck to him like little tails, especially Snowball, who had practically become a little ornament on Hua Han's body, following him wherever he went and insisting on being next to him to sleep peacefully.
She walked over and sat down beside The Cubs, reaching out a finger to gently tap the wet nose of one of them.
The little fellow grunted in its sleep and twisted its body.
Bai Wanwan couldn't help but smile, then stroked the smooth fur on the back of another cub.
Hua Han, while coaxing the cub in his arms, turned his head to look at her. "Did Jiao Yin just come back?"
"Yes, he was afraid there wouldn't be enough food, so he left again after dropping off the prey."
After a pause, Bai Wanwan looked at him and said, "Hua Han, thank you all."
Sensing the sincerity in her words, the corners of Hua Han's lips curled up slightly, and a fine ripple of emotion rose in his heart.
Once upon a time, his repeated attempts to get close to her were a pipe dream, but now he could sit by her side, guarding her and The Cubs. The Female's gentle voice and sweet scent made him feel that if he could live like this for a lifetime, it would be such a happy thing.
The rain seemed to have let up slightly, but an unusual commotion came from outside the cave, mixed with anxious shouts.
Bai Wanwan's heart skipped a beat, and she said to Hua Han, "I'm going to the entrance to see what's happening."
"I'll go with you."
Hua Han carefully set The Cubs down, and seeing that they were sleeping soundly, stood up to accompany her to the door.
Unexpectedly, Jiao Yin, who had just left, came rushing back, his expression even more solemn than when he had gone out.
"What's wrong outside?" Bai Wanwan went to meet him and asked.
"The rain is too heavy, a new river channel has broken through next to the Tribe! Water is flooding into the lower caves!" Jiao Yin spoke quickly. "The Clan Leader is leading people to try and block the water, but the current is too swift. I have to go help."
The Female had just given birth to Cubs; they certainly wouldn't be able to leave this place during this Snow Season.
He had to eliminate all dangers so that the Female could live here more safely.
