126: Changes in the Norman Continent

“You seem to have come from Aona City, right?” the female elf asked Yi Xin, her tone certain despite the question.

“How did you know?” Yi Xin frowned slightly, then looked at her in surprise.

“You have the scent of a rift about you…” The female elf smiled and said, “Let me introduce myself. I am the owner of this Bush Tavern, and my name is Qi Ya.”

“Hello! My name is Yi Xin.” Yi Xin nodded and said, “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Qi Ya!”

“If you don’t mind, come over here and have a drink with me~” Qi Ya said to Yi Xin with a smile.

“It would be my honor!” Yi Xin smiled and nodded, then took his wine glass and followed Qi Ya to a “reserved” table, where he sat down.

“Tell me what you want to drink, don’t worry, it’s on me~ I don’t have anything else, just plenty of wine.” Qi Ya said to Yi Xin generously.

“Mm, thank you, I won’t be shy.” Yi Xin smiled and said, placing his wine glass, still half full, on the table.

He wasn’t a heavy drinker, just someone who enjoyed a drink. Most of the alcohol he consumed was fruit wine, which had a better taste and mouthfeel, and he didn’t care about getting drunk; he simply drank it like a beverage.

“Can you tell me about what happened in Aona City?” Qi Ya asked Yi Xin.

“Of course, it’s not a secret. If you’re willing to listen, I’ll tell you what I saw.” Yi Xin nodded readily. He had already known that she invited him for a drink because of the Aona City incident.

“Thank you very much!” Qi Ya said with a smile.

Then Yi Xin began to recount the events in Aona City…

……

Norman Ya World.

“Clap!” Clarissa extended her fingers and clamped down on Ally’s attacking sword.

“Not bad, you’ve made great progress!” Clarissa smiled and nodded at Ally.

Ally had lived here for ten days and had already mastered the combat techniques Whirlwind Sword and Earth Shattering Slash. She diligently practiced every day, striving to improve her mastery.

“Alright, that’s enough for today! Take a break!” Clarissa smiled and said to Ally.

“Okay!” Ally nodded.

Under Alice’s governance, the Grosster Empire’s national strength was flourishing, and the lives of its citizens were improving. Alice was continuously praised by the people for her great achievements.

She was even hailed as the greatest queen in the history of the Grosster Empire!

Moreover, Alice was very approachable and often appeared on the streets.

“Clarissa! I’m here!” Alice ran over to Clarissa’s side again.

“Oh, is your training over today? Oh no! I’m late again!” Alice said with a frustrated expression, “It’s all that protocol’s fault, it held me up for so long!”

Alice also trained with Ally under Clarissa.

After all, with someone as powerful as Clarissa around, why would Alice need to find another teacher? She could just learn directly from Clarissa!

Clarissa naturally agreed wholeheartedly. As her good friend, she naturally hoped that Alice’s strength would be as great as possible, at least enough for self-preservation.

Although Alice currently possessed Moonlight-level strength, even in this world, let alone other potential dangers, it was still somewhat insufficient.

At the very least, she needed to be a Radiant Sun Knight to truly be able to protect herself.

“Haha, it’s fine, your progress is quite stable, just keep it up!” Clarissa smiled and said to Alice, “Practice the Breathing Technique I taught you well, and the Star Sword Technique too.”

“Mm-hmm! I now spend at least three hours a day practicing!” Alice nodded and said. As a queen, although she wasn’t too busy on weekdays, it still took up a lot of her time.

“That’s pretty good!” Clarissa smiled and said, “Have you eaten? If not, let’s eat together.”

“Sure!” Alice nodded in agreement.

During dinner, Alice chatted while eating: “By the way, Clarissa, I heard from Grandpa Jia that… it seems the Heaven and Earth Yuan Qi has become richer recently… Clarissa, do you feel anything? My strength is too low, so I don’t feel much… but it seems my cultivation speed has indeed increased quite a bit!”

“Heaven and Earth Yuan Qi?” Clarissa was momentarily stunned. Her strength was too great, so this slight change had no impact on her, and she hadn’t really paid attention to such subtle shifts.

However, after hearing Alice say that.

Clarissa carefully sensed it, comparing it to her previous feelings… Clarissa immediately noticed the difference.

“There has indeed been some change! The Heaven and Earth Yuan Qi is more concentrated… and it seems to be slowly increasing…” Clarissa’s perception was on a deeper level.

With her immense strength, she could almost detect the extremely subtle increase in Heaven and Earth Yuan Qi, like a soft, silent drizzle.

It was a gradual change, hard to notice at first glance, but after a certain amount of time, you would suddenly realize, “Hey! How did this much more appear?”

“Really!?” Alice said, somewhat surprised, upon hearing Clarissa’s confirmation. “Does that mean there’s an even higher realm above legendary? Does that mean the world is also ‘getting stronger’? And does that mean we, as beings of this world, will also benefit from this!?”

“Uh…” Clarissa heard Alice’s question and didn’t expect her to think on that level: “You’re quite right! This is indeed the world ‘getting stronger’!”

Clarissa thought of world ascension.

Then she thought of the reason for the world’s ascension, which should be herself.

She had already far surpassed the world’s ceiling!

If she were an outsider, she would certainly be rejected by the world.

But Clarissa was not; in every aspect, she was a native of the Norman Ya World.

So, the world naturally couldn’t expel its “child,” and thus, it would naturally ascend along with Clarissa.

However, world ascension was not such an easy matter.

And Clarissa was the only “ascender.”

The help she provided to the world was also very small, but she was a very important existence because she “started it.”

It was precisely because Clarissa “started it” that the Norman Ya World could begin its ascension.

Otherwise, it would still be the same.

Waiting for an unknown number of years, accumulating numerous “legends,” using quantity to substitute for quality.

Finally reaching a critical point, perhaps a certain “ascender” would be born, thereby “starting” and driving the ascension of the entire Norman Ya World.
