830: Chapter 830 Battle with the Brother God

Loki rejoiced and simply let The Destroyer watch from the sidelines for now. Thor, that idiot, was indeed a brainless fool!

It was just as well; he wanted to see how strong this group was... after all, he was going to rule the Nine Realms in the future! Midgard was a place worth paying attention to... Loki had originally thought they were a group of "primitive people," but after arriving, he realized...

It wasn't what he had imagined. Although Midgard wasn't as powerful as Asgard, there were plenty of people and plenty of mid-to-low-tier combatants!

Moreover, there were quite a few high-end combatants. While not as many as in Asgard, they were not to be underestimated.

Truly ruling them would be a very troublesome matter.

Naturally, Loki needed to know himself and his enemy.

Perfect, he'd let that fool Thor test the waters for him.

Thor didn't think that much at all; he didn't care about any of that.

Just fighting was all that mattered!

Facing Thor's attack.

Everyone else scattered in all directions, then moved to encircle Thor.

Tony, however, neither dodged nor avoided it. The coating on his body was an insulator, and with his armor made of a special alloy, he wasn't too afraid of that lightning.

However, he had to be careful of the hammer's attacks.

Tony suddenly flew into the sky.

Boom!!! Thor slammed his hammer fiercely onto The Ground. As The Ground cracked, lightning overflowed everywhere. His eyes glowing with thunder, he suddenly looked up at the flying Tony.

Just as he was about to act, Peter and Gwen, on his left and right, raised their hands simultaneously.

Thwip~ Two different strands of Spider-silk (one produced internally, the other made from a special material Spider-silk fluid) were fired toward Thor, the God of Thunder.

As for the battle-hardened Thor, you could say he was dim-witted, but you couldn't say he lacked combat experience.

With a side-step, he dodged the two Spider-silk shots and countered with another swing of his hammer.

The power of lightning erupted toward Peter and Gwen.

Both of them quickly dodged.

Boom~ Boom!

The lightning struck The Ground and exploded.

Polaris's green hair glowed slightly, and the flight device she sat on sprayed out a large amount of Nano-metal. They transformed into sharp cones and were fired directly at Thor.

Thor roared, lightning surging across his body. His divine body was already clad in Thunder God Armor formed from Divine Power, and he swung his hammer fiercely at those cones.

Boom!!!

Terrifying power erupted, carrying Divine Power and lightning.

Those cones instantly shattered.

Just as Thor was rejoicing, those shattered cones, which were originally formed from "Nano-metal," did not change their properties even though they had scattered.

Polaris directly controlled them, and in the next moment, they transformed into a "ribbon" with Thor naturally inside.

With a thump, the ribbon snapped shut, firmly binding Thor within it.

I've caught Thor, the God of Thunder! Holding up a Poké Ball.JPG (Not really).

Seeing the bound Thor, Peter and Gwen immediately raised their hands. Thwip thwip thwip~

A large amount of Spider-silk wrapped directly around Thor's body, continuously reinforcing the binding.

In less than two seconds, Thor had turned into a cocoon, with only his head exposed.

Seeing this, Loki was shocked. He hadn't expected Thor to be subdued just like that?!

The Destroyer's visor lit up.

Whirr! A beam of scorching light fired toward Peter.

Peter felt a jolt.

His body moved faster than his brain, dodging directly to one side.

The light beam swept from bottom to top.

Boom!!!

A series of terrifying explosions erupted.

"Hey! I almost forgot about our spoils of war!" After dodging, Peter didn't look like he had just escaped death at all; instead, he turned to look at the towering armor of The Destroyer with great interest.

Everyone's gaze shifted from Thor to The Destroyer.

Uh... can we settle this peacefully? Loki suddenly felt that things were looking bad.

But presumably not, since The Destroyer was already being treated as spoils of war!

However, The Destroyer wouldn't be that easy to deal with!

From their performance, Loki saw that their strength was indeed not to be underestimated, but he didn't think they were that strong. After all, he was only controlling The Destroyer remotely. He believed that if he were to take action personally as the number one mage, wouldn't it be an easy victory?

Not to mention! He also controlled Asgard and the Frost Giants!

When the time came, he would hatch a plan and have the Frost Giants go to Midgard to deal with them! Loki thought to himself.

The members of the Akatsuki Organization prepared to besiege The Destroyer armor. Tony was very curious about this thing; it looked like a magical product, and there was clearly no "host" inside.

Furthermore, he really wanted to find out what material that metal was made of and if it was possible to replicate or synthesize it. Then his MK Series could be upgraded again.

"Go!"

Peter and Gwen exchanged a look, then suddenly charged toward The Destroyer from both sides.

The Destroyer looked left and right, then threw a punch at Gwen first.

Facing such a direct attack, Gwen naturally dodged it nimbly.

On the other side, Peter suddenly charged forward and threw a heavy punch at The Destroyer's face.

With this punch, all his power erupted instantly!

He used the Spiritual Energy he had Cultivated within his body.

Peter's normal mutated strength already exceeded 20 tons; with a burst, it would be at least 50 tons, not to mention his limit strength... which could probably reach 100 tons.

Combined with the power from his Cultivation, he didn't hold back at all with this punch. The instantaneous burst of power exceeded 100 tons.

Hundreds of tons of force slammed violently into The Destroyer's head.

With a bang, if it had been an ordinary material or even a normal metal, this punch would have certainly crushed it.

However, The Destroyer only shook its head, its body stumbling to one side.

"Holy crap! This guy is really tough!" Peter said after landing the punch and feeling the recoil, while simultaneously jumping back to put some distance between himself and The Destroyer armor.

"It feels like it didn't take any damage?" Gwen glanced over; it looked fine, and there wasn't even a mark on the spot where it was hit.

"There is some, a very slight dent, maybe... no more than 0.01 millimeters," Tony said to everyone.

"You might as well have said nothing," Peter replied.

Polaris activated her ability, attempting to control The Destroyer, since it was also made of metal.

However, her brow furrowed. The ability took effect, but she couldn't control it—or rather, her power wasn't enough.

"It has a very strong special power, or perhaps magical power, on it. My ability is having trouble producing an effective result!" Polaris shouted.

"It's hard to deal with on a physical level... magic... it seems it must be magic against magic!" Tony immediately analyzed. As he spoke, Tony raised his hand and fired several consecutive repulsor blasts. The energy beams struck The Destroyer, causing it to pause slightly from the impact.

From that brief encounter, everyone now had an idea of what they were dealing with.

Combined with the information that it came from "mythology"—more accurately, that it was an alien—it was quite normal for it to possess even more powerful magical abilities.

"I feel that Spiritual Energy is effective against it!" Peter told everyone. Although his punch just now hadn't done much, he could feel that while his "fist" was useless, the Spiritual Energy contained within it had worked.

It was just that the intensity and amount of Spiritual Energy weren't enough, and the opponent's defense was high, so it was difficult to cause significant damage.
