509: A notice to all readers
Today's update is a G, and tomorrow's will probably be a G too.
I'm too tired; I just got back from being busy. Recently, I've been preparing to move.
Dealing with a lot of things, then selling off some stuff, packing up, leaving the city, and going back… I can't make a living here.
And the performance of this book is also very poor, and there's no possibility of it picking up later.
But I still owe 26 chapters, so I apologize to the generous patron!
However, these owed chapters definitely won't be forgotten. I'll carry them over to the next book and repay them there.
Although I don't know if that patron will still read my books, whether they read it or not is one thing, and whether I do it or not is another.
These past few days have been so busy that I'm overwhelmed and extremely fatigued, not just physically but mentally.
Plus, with these continuous hiatuses, not to mention the issue of whether I'm providing enough content, my full attendance bonus is gone, and my last bit of support is gone.
I might as well relax, not think about writing, and not rush to write; it's meaningless.
Once these two days are over and things are settled, I can stabilize and write properly.
A new book definitely needs to be thought about and put on the agenda.
The owed chapters will be for the new book; I will always remember them, 26 chapters.
As for this book, I won't finish it. Although doing so might mean losing all my old readers, as chasing updates like this is too tiring and difficult—I read novels myself, so I understand.
No one can be blamed for this; after all, it's my own problem, so I accept it.
Not finishing it is also my last bit of stubbornness. I'll update it slowly, and who knows when it might reach 1.5 million words or 2 million words, so new readers can also enjoy it, as it's already at 1.11 million words.
Broadly speaking, that's pretty much the situation. Pao Pao is explaining it here to everyone, lest you think Pao Pao has “run away,” and also to prove that Pao Pao is still alive.
Alright, that's it. However, a chapter less than 1,000 words cannot be published, so the following words are just some of my complaints and some things I don't know what I'm talking about.
Pao Pao has been writing for two years now, and this is the fifth book. One was a G, and the others are considered completed.
Accumulated over 5 million words.
Due to many real-life issues, various troubles, plus financial pressure, I've never been able to calm down and create properly, or improve myself.
If there are old readers who have been following Pao Pao, you should know that from the first book to this one, Pao Pao's skill has not been continuously improving. Pao Pao knows this, including the filler content and various bad parts...
Many times, Pao Pao isn't unaware, but unable.
Now, after two years, or accurately, three years, Pao Pao can finally see hope for stability.
The possibility for Pao Pao to calm down, create, and improve!
Pao Pao plans to start the new book around May-June. During this time, Pao Pao will meticulously refine it and stockpile chapters. By then, while repaying these owed chapters, Pao Pao can also ensure quality and continue to hold bonus update events!
Let everyone spur Pao Pao to keep moving forward.
I must, absolutely must, create a high-quality work! It would also make my entry into this industry worthwhile.
I hope to achieve this goal within these two years!
Finally, the old cliché: thank you all for your support! Thanks to the readers who have followed Pao Pao all the way to now, and also thanks to those who have quietly paid attention to Pao Pao!
Thank you all!
Pao Pao will always remember the original intention, rediscover the creative passion of the past, the original intention of writing!
Thank you, everyone!
To this end.
