726: Set off

As mentioned before, the Human Immortal Realm provides all cultivators with basic resources and cultivation techniques to the best of its ability.

The Intelligence Hall operates similarly; everyone can upload their observations, useful intelligence, and news, which will then be specially compiled and categorized.

While there is a concept of 'contribution points,' these points do not affect the treatment and resources one receives; they are merely a form of 'honor.'

Furthermore, the universe is vast and boundless, with nearly infinite resources, and there are often various Void Secret Realms, perhaps on some planet or even within the universe itself, where countless possibilities can be encountered.

For instance, resources, Void Demonic Beasts, dangerous lands, spiritual lands, and so on, are all possible.

"Are the two of us enough?" Tang Jue asked Hualan.

"I think it should be enough. I don't know if any other fellow Daoists are going, since I only know you ~" Hualan said to Tang Jue, "The intelligence from the Intelligence Hall is just that, intelligence. There's no 'if you take it, I can't' or 'if I go, you can't' kind of thing."

"Is that so... Alright then! We can go check it out. Constant cultivation isn't everything," Tang Jue mused for a moment before agreeing to Hualan's invitation.

"That's great! Wait for me, I'm coming to find you now," Hualan said happily. Soon after, Hualan arrived outside Tang Jue's cave abode, and a request to enter came in.

Tang Jue released the restriction, allowing Hualan to enter.

Soon, a fairy flew in.

Her features were exquisite and flawless, her skin as white as snow, seemingly radiating a soft glow. She wore a moon-white star-gauze long dress, on which meteors seemed to glide. Her long, raven-black hair, like a waterfall, was coiled with a hairpin, and a three-flower mark adorned her brow.

Her body proportions were perfect, as she was already an immortal.

"I'm here, I'm here! Are you ready?" Hualan asked Tang Jue as she gracefully flew in, her voice clear and melodious, like large and small pearls falling onto a jade plate.

Just by hearing her voice, one would think she was a very lively girl.

"Yes, I am," Tang Jue nodded slightly and rose to greet her.

"Hehe ~ Let's go!" Hualan looked very lively, smiling with bright eyes and white teeth, quite delightful.

Tang Jue nodded slightly, smiling as he followed Hualan out of the cave abode.

"Do you have a flying boat?" Hualan asked Tang Jue.

"Not yet," Tang Jue shook his head slightly.

"Then come with me. If we fly by sword, the distance is quite far and not very convenient," Hualan said to Tang Jue, then a palm-sized flying boat flew out from her storage ring.

Hualan then threw it out, and the flying boat grew with the wind, instantly transforming into a massive object several tens of meters long.

"Let's go," Hualan invited Tang Jue.

"Thank you," Tang Jue replied and stepped onto the flying boat.

Hualan then followed him aboard, immediately controlling the flying boat with her divine sense and magic power.

"Activate!" Hualan shouted energetically. Immediately, the energy stones embedded within the flying boat released their power, and the magic formations activated and took effect.

Buzz! A low-frequency sound rang out.

Immediately after, the flying boat shot out with a whoosh.

Their destination was on a small asteroid tens of thousands of kilometers away; though it was said to be tens of thousands of kilometers, it was actually nearly a hundred thousand kilometers distant.

"Is this your first time out?" Hualan asked Tang Jue. The journey was a bit long, so Hualan casually started a conversation while traveling.

"Yes, this is my first time leaving the Immortal Realm," Tang Jue nodded slightly in response. He looked out through the flying boat's shield; the world outside was dark, but various glowing "spheres" dotted the darkness.

That was the boundless "universe," and also the battlefield of myriad races!

"Hehe, actually, this is my first time coming out this far too," Hualan said to Tang Jue, sticking out her tongue. "Oh, right, what are you most skilled in?"

"Me? I am a Sword Cultivator," Tang Jue said, pointing to himself as he spoke to Hualan. "Basically, I specialize in swordsmanship and also cultivate some auxiliary spells."

"A Sword Cultivator! That's amazing! I don't have that talent, but I really like Sword Cultivators!" Hualan immediately said, somewhat surprised. "Sword Cultivators are truly too cool! It's a pity my talent is all focused on spells and formations."

Hualan was a Grandmaster of Formations, a cultivator specialized in formations and spells.

"Then our combination is quite good; we have everything. I handle area attacks, you handle single targets. I provide support, you provide strong offense. Eh heh!" Hualan said to Tang Jue with a smile.

"Which sect were you from in the lower realm?" Tang Jue asked curiously. Hualan said she ascended earlier than him, but as far as he knew, in recent years... it seemed he was the only one who had ascended, right?

"I'm from the Myriad Law Sect. Tribulation Transcending and ascending is too difficult! It took me sixteen years to ascend," Hualan sighed and said.

"Sixteen years! How old are you now?" Tang Jue asked curiously.

"Asking a girl her age directly seems a bit impolite!" Hualan pouted and said, "I'm twenty-eight..."

"Twenty-eight... sixteen years, twelve years... Ah! I was just born when you ascended," Tang Jue calculated simply and said.

"You were just born..." Hualan's eyes widened as she looked at Tang Jue. "No, how old are you now?"

"Twelve years old. If you want to be precise, I could also be thirteen," Tang Jue said to Hualan.

"???" Hualan looked at Tang Jue, her head full of question marks. "You're only twelve!"

Hualan looked Tang Jue up and down. He certainly looked very young, but he gave the impression of being sixteen or seventeen, with the youthful exuberance and spirit of a young man.

How could he still be underage! Hualan was a bit astonished.

"Your talent is a bit terrifying!" Hualan said, somewhat shocked. Ascending at twelve years old.

"You're not bad either! You only took four more years than me," Tang Jue said to Hualan.

Cultivation knows no years; in this world, thousands upon thousands of years are just a measure of time.

"That's about it!" Hualan shook her head slightly, saying that while age meant nothing to them, as they essentially had no concept of lifespan limitations anymore,

talent, however, was extremely important.

The talent Tang Jue displayed was indeed terrifying, especially when measured in terms of time.

Tang Jue shook his head slightly and smiled. In his opinion, Hualan's talent was equally terrifying.

Especially ascending through spells and formations.

Such cultivators are actually extremely formidable existences!

Compared to the singularity of a Sword Cultivator, such cultivators have far too many methods!

Although in terms of offensive power, Sword Cultivators are indeed paramount.

However, just considering ascension... Tang Jue thought of his own ascension, with the Gatekeeper... Although he didn't know the circumstances of Hualan's ascension, he vaguely felt that Hualan must also be a super genius of unparalleled antiquity.
