741: Chapter 741 Clarissa's Marvel Adventures

[Happy Lantern Festival, everyone!]

"This place is just like Chen Mu's side, it's also called Hells Kitchen..." Clarissa looked at this place with interest.

In her perception, there seemed to be a guy with quite a bit of power compared to ordinary people just walking out from inside.

Soon, this person appeared before her eyes.

A man wearing a suit, sunglasses, and carrying a cane.

A lawyer by day, a vigilante of Hells Kitchen by night, known as Daredevil, Matthew Murdock.

Clarissa just took an extra look before passing by him.

After Matthew walked past, his body stiffened slightly. Using immense willpower to control his body, he continued forward with still-stiff movements.

So terrifying!

What kind of existence is this?!

In his perception, he only felt absolute "death" and endless "disaster"!

It was right on that person!

Compared to a true "Mutate," his superpower was really nothing special.

But compared to an ordinary person, he could be considered a top-tier fighter!

Even though he has no sight.

However, blindness allowed his hearing, touch, smell, and taste to reach the human limit. He could perceive his surroundings through echoes, heartbeats, and scents, like a built-in "biological radar."

Moreover, his physical coordination, speed, and reactions far exceed those of ordinary people. He is extremely skilled in street fighting, parkour, and evasion. Having studied under Stick, he is proficient in various fighting techniques, relying on skill rather than brute force.

Unfortunately, he is still within the realm of ordinary humans.

In the entire Marvel World, he can only be considered bottom-tier, not even a manhole cover.

When did such a person come to New York... Matthew was horrified, unsure whether to be happy or worried.

If he had ever met a figure like Clarissa, he certainly wouldn't forget her.

However, today... Matthew's pace couldn't help but quicken, a sense of anxiety lingering in his heart.

As for Matthew's thoughts, Clarissa didn't care at all.

She was currently walking through Hells Kitchen with interest, looking at this familiar-looking place.

"Is this basically the same as the Hells Kitchen in Manhattan, New York, USA on your side, Chen Mu?" Clarissa said in the group.

"Uh, probably..." Chen Mu scratched his head. He didn't pay much attention, mainly because he hadn't been to America many times.

Even now, in his own world, he had never gone abroad... Firstly because he was lazy, and secondly because he really wasn't that interested.

How could it be as interesting as the group!

How could it be as interesting as games!

How could it be as interesting as lewd stuff!

Cough cough~

But soon, trouble came knocking.

Several thugs stopped Clarissa.

Before they could speak, Clarissa just glanced at them.

The group of men stood there dazed as Clarissa walked straight past them.

A foul stench wafted from their crotches, and a yellowish-brown liquid dripped down.

For people like this, she didn't even bother to lift a hand.

"Big Sister Head is truly mighty!"

"Just one look!"

"Awesome!!! (Voice cracks)" Chen Mu shouted the loudest.

"Hey, speaking of which, with Peter's current situation, Uncle Ben should be gone by now, right? Has the 'with great power comes great responsibility' line already been said?" Chen Mu suddenly remembered something and asked.

"I'm not too sure about that." Clarissa shook her head slightly. Just as she was about to say something, the communication crystal given to Peter was activated.

Then she received a message from Peter.

"Hello, hello, hello! Can you hear me? Does this thing really work?" Peter's voice came through.

"I can hear you. What's up? Is everything settled?" Clarissa said to Peter.

"Uh... it's mostly settled..." Peter said to Clarissa somewhat sheepishly.

"Gwen and I rented an apartment for you... It's not big, but... it's not far from my place. I don't have much money, so I couldn't provide anything too good... Please bear with me." Peter said to Clarissa a bit embarrassedly.

Setting aside Clarissa's strength, she was a Prince, and by the looks of it, she was no different from an Empress.

No, Peter thought back and felt she was even more awesome than the Empress!

At least the Empress had to work, while she didn't have to do anything at all.

The interaction between the two was closer than family, completely without reservation.

In fact, Peter's intuition was very accurate; Clarissa was indeed much more powerful than Empress Alice.

"No problem. Come pick me up; I don't know the way." Clarissa said to Peter.

"Okay, tell me where you are now... uh, is there any landmark?" Peter said, then remembered Clarissa didn't understand the situation on their side, so he switched to asking about surrounding landmarks.

After Clarissa told Peter, the latter suddenly became very nervous and said he would head over immediately.

You've got to be kidding, that's Hells Kitchen over there!

There are plenty of people who don't have eyes!

Of course, it wasn't that he was worried about Clarissa getting hurt, but rather he was worried about Clarissa going on a killing spree!

When Peter and Gwen arrived, they saw Clarissa standing quietly to one side, looking beautiful all on her own.

Peter couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.

Gwen coming along wasn't out of jealousy, but because Peter had come clean and told Gwen everything. Although Gwen didn't quite believe it, she was half-convinced.

After all, for a figure like Clarissa to suddenly appear... and for Peter to know someone like that... To be honest, it wasn't that Gwen was belittling Peter, but rather... Gwen didn't really believe it.

Luckily, nothing happened! Thank goodness!

"Let's go." Peter had come by car. Although it wasn't clear whose car it was, it looked like an old model.

"Okay." Clarissa nodded and sat in the back seat.

Gwen sat in the passenger seat.

Peter nervously started the car and soon left Hells Kitchen.

"Don't be nervous, even though I know your driving isn't very good." Clarissa said to Peter.

"Cough cough~" Suddenly being told that by Clarissa, Peter almost choked on his own saliva.

Gwen snickered on the side because Peter's driving really couldn't be called good.

Soon, the car arrived in the Queens district of New York.

It was also the area where Peter's home was located.

Peter had rented a nearby ordinary apartment for Clarissa.

If it weren't for Gwen, he would have been quite short on cash.

However, one couldn't help but wonder how it felt for a future girlfriend to help her boyfriend rent a place for another woman, while the boyfriend still had to accompany her...

Gwen wasn't that kind of person. She wasn't that jealous of Clarissa because she knew it was impossible for Clarissa to ever take an interest in Peter.

And according to Peter... Clarissa was an "Empress"! Moreover, she was someone from another world and a powerful being.

As for Peter getting mixed up with such a person... one could only say it was fate.

Gwen couldn't do anything about it either. After all, Peter said that in the blink of an eye, he was already there.

He was confused himself.

As for lying... come on, did Gwen not know her "childhood friend" and good neighbor?

Clarissa silently observed for a while, but for the life of her, she couldn't tell which version of Spider-Man this was.

But on second thought, those were all "entertainment works" from Chen Mu's world. If they became reality, whether they would be completely identical was still open to debate.
