832: Chapter 832 The matter comes to an end

The rest was much easier to handle.

The Destroyer, already suppressed, shackled, and perfectly restrained, was like a lamb to the slaughter, lying motionless on The Ground of the Mirror Dimension.

The mages had even severed the connection between The Destroyer and Loki, leaving Loki behind the scenes in a state of impotent rage, his mouth full of 'Motherfucker!'

Among his emotions was a hint of apprehension.

Loki had not expected Midgard to have mages, and for the power of these mages to be so formidable!

After the mages secured The Destroyer with various Runic Locks, they deactivated the Mirror Dimension.

“Done!” one mage shouted to Tony, with The Destroyer lying quietly in their midst.

So fast?! Tony's eyes widened. Was this the power of magic?

Damn! No, I have to start researching magic mecha! Tony couldn't stand it for a second longer.

“OK, you guys did a great job! The Contribution Points are being transferred now,” Tony said with a nod.

When the mages heard this, their faces instantly lit up with smiles. They checked their accounts—Wuhu! The payment had arrived!

How sweet~ Now they could buy plenty of Materials and Cultivate resources again.

The mages looked at The Destroyer on The Ground with eyes full of affection.

Fighting really is great! The Contribution Points earned were hundreds of times more than opening portals! And it wasn't much more trouble than opening a portal either.

Why couldn't there be more things like this?

Then, the mages gave a slight bow of thanks and turned their gaze toward Thor, the God of Thunder, nearby: “Should we help you take care of this one too?”

Having received so many Contribution Points, they didn't mind helping out for free. It was a way to build rapport—a guaranteed win. After all, it was just a small favor, but next time they might earn even more!

“That won't be necessary, we can handle him,” Tony said, shaking his head slightly. “Thanks for your trouble.”

“Alright, then we’ll take our leave.” The mages nodded and then departed directly through a teleportation portal.

Watching the mages come and go like the wind, Captain America and the others were silenced by that teleportation ability. In a single encounter, the majestic and terrifying Destroyer had been taken down.

Looking at The Destroyer lying there like a dead dog, their thoughts were incredibly complex.

The Akatsuki Organization... mages... how are we supposed to play this? Might as well just give you all the points! You can fill in whatever score you want yourself!

Nick Fury also fell silent. Watching this scene, the strength of these mages exceeded his imagination. More importantly, the mages' abilities were strange and diverse. Not to mention their teleportation portals—if you can't win, you can't even run?

If you offended them, you'd better sleep with one eye open! Otherwise, you wouldn't even know when a portal might open in your face to take you out.

It's unplayable, absolutely unplayable!

At the same time, they realized why they couldn't find the Akatsuki Organization. If their coming and going relied on portals... it really was too difficult to find them.

Energy... energy... right, research the tesseract! It would be best to develop space-locking technology! A hint of fanaticism appeared in Nick Fury's eyes as he touched the pager at his waist.

With this person as a backup, there was no need to fear or panic...

In Nick Fury's heart, this person was the eternal God! The ceiling of combat power! No matter how troublesome the situation, as long as this person was called back, everything could be crushed with brute force, resolved, and order restored!

However, Nick Fury didn't know that if this person came back and dared to cause trouble, The Ancient One could beat her head in.

Not to mention, the current Ancient One was an ultimate, MAX-plus, super-buffed version.

With stronger personal power, unlimited borrowing of power without side effects... plus that terrifying mastery of Spells, Carol would be fighting a losing battle!

At this level of strength, even a Thanos without all the infinity stones wouldn't dare to speak up.

But here was the problem: the time stone was in The Ancient One's hands, so Thanos was already in a state where he could never complete the set.

Tony and the others turned their attention back to dealing with Thor.

The latter had already witnessed the "miserable" fate of The Destroyer. Watching the departing mages, he already had some thoughts in his mind.

His Battle Intent wasn't as thick anymore; in other words, his eyes were much clearer.

The other party had been playing with him! They hadn't been serious at all!

Damn, if that group of mages had targeted him, he'd probably end up with the same fate as The Destroyer.

After all, the current Thor had only just undergone Awakening and taken back his power.

Compared to his future strength, he was still a long way off.

“Um, can we settle this peacefully?” Thor stopped his attack and spoke to Tony and the others.

“Of course, but given that you attacked us—even if no damage was caused—you must make compensation,” Tony said to Thor. No matter what, the other party was a god; although an alien, behind him stood what he called Asgard.

Tony didn't want to directly make an enemy of him and start a war, which would bring trouble.

“I can do that,” Thor agreed immediately. It was just compensation; Asgard might not have much else, but it had plenty of treasures.

“Also, you have to provide us with intelligence about Asgard,” Tony said to Thor.

“Uh, I can't say too much,” Thor said after a moment of thought.

“Don't worry, we just want to learn about your Asgard. Look at it another way: this is a friendly exchange between our two worlds to understand each other, so we can have deeper cooperation in the future,” Tony told Thor.

“That makes sense! I understand.” Hearing this, Thor felt it indeed made sense, and many things weren't secrets anyway, so he nodded in realization.

“Leave this to S.H.I.E.L.D.!” Natasha walked over at this moment and said, “Don't worry, we will provide all the intelligence to your Akatsuki Organization together.”

“Fine, then I'll leave it to you.” Tony raised an eyebrow; it didn't matter. Since S.H.I.E.L.D. was willing to do this troublesome work, let them do it.

Anyway, even if they hid things, Akatsuki would be collecting everything throughout the process. It was also a good chance to see if S.H.I.E.L.D. would try anything.

“Thank you very much!” Natasha said with a look of sincerity. “S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Akatsuki Organization have no conflict; in fact, we could have more cooperation!”

“We'll talk about that later.” Tony shrugged. After thinking for a moment, he felt there was some potential: “If there's an opportunity. Our Akatsuki Organization isn't some evil group; we are also committed to the well-being and future of humanity.”

“It's an honor. Our goals are aligned!” Natasha said with a smile.

“Then we'll leave things here to you.” Tony nodded, not bothering with further pleasantries and being very direct.

Then they called for a mage again. A mage opened a portal and came through—one of the twenty who had come earlier.

“Need help?” the mage asked after coming out, but looking around, there seemed to be nothing to do.

“Yes, but it's to open a portal,” Tony said with a smile. He then had the mage open a portal and entered with The Destroyer. Then the portal closed and disappeared.

Leaving behind the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents and Thor.

“Alright, Your Excellency Thor, we can sit down and have a good chat now. By the way, that lady is your friend, right? She can come along too.” Natasha pointed to Jane, who was being protected by S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, and spoke to Thor.

“Thank you.” Thor glanced at Jane, a hint of tenderness appearing in his eyes, and then nodded.
