"Hello! Is anyone here!" Ally called out as soon as she entered.

"Hello, hello, welcome to Peila's Enchantment Shop!" A girl with braided pigtails poked her head out from behind a counter and replied.

"Sorry, please wait for me for two minutes... I didn't expect any customers!" The braided girl said, then after bustling behind the counter for a while, she hurried out.

Uh... so laid-back!

Didn't expect any customers?

So you knew that opening a shop here would mean no one would come?

"Hello everyone! What do you need?" The braided girl asked Ally and the others.

"Um... are you the boss?" Doris looked left and right, curiously asking the braided girl.

"Yes! My name is Peila, and this is Peila's Enchantment Shop!" The braided girl said with a smile.

"So young!" Doris couldn't help but blurt out her thoughts, looking at Peila in surprise.

"She's a genius, accomplished at a young age," Emily, standing nearby, said with a gentle smile, then subtly pinched Doris's butt.

"Hmm!?" Doris immediately straightened up, her glutes tensing, her face flushed.

She turned to look at Emily, glaring.

Emily narrowed her eyes, looking sideways at Doris.

"What kind of enchantments can you do here?" Ally asked curiously, ignoring Doris and Emily's situation.

"That depends on what the customer needs!" Peila said with a smile, "May I ask what equipment you want to enchant is...?"

"Oh~ this one!" Ally reached into the void beside her and pulled out her sword.

Ally's sword wasn't some divine artifact; it was a sword Clarissa had given her before.

It was called "Flying Flower," and it was said to have cost 100,000 source points.

"Legendary equipment!" Peila took it and immediately exclaimed in surprise.

"What legendary equipment?" Ally tilted her head. She had checked her own panel, but not her equipment, since it had always been kept in her "space."

"Is legendary equipment very powerful?" Ally turned to Doris, asking.

"Of course it is!" Doris said with an envious look.

Emily knew Ally was a transverser and didn't understand, so she explained the quality distinctions of equipment to Ally:

Common, Excellent, Fine, Outstanding, Transcendent, Epic, Legendary, Mythical, and World—nine grades.

Quality affects the equipment's base stats and additional abilities.

Equipment has no level requirements; it either has restrictions, such as requiring a certain level, or needing to be female, or requiring mastery of a certain skill, and so on.

"I see~" Ally scratched her head, "Never mind that for now, I want to see about getting an enchantment."

"Uh... I'm sorry, I can't do it." Peila's expression changed a few times, then she sighed like a deflated balloon and returned the sword to Ally, saying.

"Eh?" Ally took the sword, paused, and couldn't help but look at Peila.

"Legendary-grade equipment is not something I can enchant... My enchanting skill isn't up to par," Peila said, her face a little red. She hadn't expected her first customer and first business deal to fall through like this!

Saying that, she pushed the two in front of Peila.

"Two customers, please give me your weapons." Peila quickly said, she couldn't let her first successful business deal slip away.

Since things had come to this, Emily and Doris exchanged glances, then somewhat reluctantly took out their weapons.

Their faces were slightly red, feeling as if enchanting their "inferior" weapons was an act of extreme luxury and waste.

But they still took out their weapons together.

Emily's weapon was a staff with small wings and a clear, diamond-like crystal embedded in it.

Doris's was a dark wooden longbow.

Both of their weapons were of fine grade.

"What do you need to enchant?" Peila asked Doris and Emily, "For a longbow, I recommend wind and penetration enchantments. If this one is a priest... I recommend wood and healing."

"Just follow your recommendations!" Doris and Emily exchanged glances, then nodded at Peila. They didn't understand enchantments either, so they'd listen to her.

"Okay, the cost for mid-level enchantments on two weapons will be a total of 168,000 gold coins." Peila stated a price that Doris and Emily found hard to accept.

"So expensive!" Doris and Emily stuck out their tongues when they heard Peila's words, startled by the price.

"My money here~" Ally took out the eighty thousand-plus gold coins that Doris and the others had given her before: "Um, is gold okay?"

After Ally took out the gold coins, she also took out a few pieces of gold.

"Yes, it is! I'll weigh it, and if it matches, it's fine." Peila nodded and then took the pieces of gold from Ally's hand.

Ally took out a few more pieces.

"Alright, payment complete! Thank you for your patronage!" Peila accepted the gold, happily saying to Ally and the others, "Enchantment takes a bit of time, about an hour. You can walk around or wait in the shop, just don't touch anything, otherwise, feel free."

After speaking, Peila ran into the room inside to perform the enchantments.
