219: Sudden active system

While Ran Quan and his group were out shopping, the Reincarnator from the Saida World faction were dispersed in various “safe zones” across the land.

They waited patiently, of course, also gathering other information and looking for opportunities to complete their “side missions” first.

They had to constantly watch out for attacks and sabotage from the “hostile faction.”

After all, they didn't know what the “hostile faction’s” mission was, nor where they were; perhaps they had already infiltrated Saida World.

However, they never expected that the Reincarnator from the other faction were having a rather tough time.

There were also eight of them, but they were all dropped into different locations; they had “met” initially, but were then dispersed upon entry.

Each had their own “side mission.”

Some of them were in chaotic areas of the Underground World, like the “Twelfth District” and “Thirteenth District.”

And some others were thrown into the world that was “invading” Saida World.

This world, according to the intelligence provided by the Main God Space, was called Krom.

It is a mechanical civilization, with its entire civilization structured around a mechanical core, which is essentially its “planet.”

Saida World is also somewhat miraculous; it appears to have a universe, but in reality, the concept of a universe doesn't exist; instead, two planets exist within a special heaven and earth.

And this mechanical civilization is the other planet; theoretically, the two could not meet based on the world's structure, developing independently, as if this world couldn't foresee the future and thus created two paths to “advance.”

As a result, humanity’s side “blew up,” becoming a wasteland, but it also developed in a different direction.

Meanwhile, this mechanical civilization developed steadily, but for reasons even Saida World didn't know, a miraculous “bridge” appeared, connecting Krom and the Saida planet.

This led to the sudden “robot” incident that Ran Quan discovered.

However, Krom’s “exit” in Saida World is quite far from the Underground World, meaning it’s a great distance away in the Ground World.

So, wave after wave of “outgoing” mechanical soldiers were dispatched, and the robots Ran Quan and his group eliminated were one of those teams.

Currently, Krom is battling various monsters deep within the Ground World.

Saida World is strong not only because of the human technological civilization in the Underground World.

It also has the “bio-civilization” of the wasteland in the Ground World.

These are the monsters; of course, they can't be called a civilization, as they haven't formed a systematic civilization, but they are undoubtedly biological.

Their strength is also extremely terrifying, truly following the path of “physical body becoming holy.”

Even under Krom’s powerful firepower and energy cannon attacks, the formidable flesh, incredibly hard exoskeletons, biological armor, and regenerative abilities of these powerful monsters make for an even fight.

Moreover, these powerful deep-dwelling monsters also possess a certain level of intelligence; if they can't win, they will flee.

This also makes Krom very frustrated, being pulled in all directions.

This is also one of the reasons why, after so many days in Saida World, and with the Fifth Defense Line almost complete, Krom’s mechanical army has not yet appeared.

Shi Zhenda, a Reincarnator from the Main God Space, was assigned to the Krom faction for this mission; after meeting his teammates, they were surprisingly dropped into different locations upon entry.

However, this was normal; even for faction missions, it was good enough to just meet.

Many faction missions don't even involve meeting; they just throw you in, and you have to “find teammates” in the mission world yourself.

Although he knew who his teammates were, Shi Zhenda entered Krom.

Before he could properly observe the world, he heard a series of “beep, beep, beep” sounds.

Then, looking up, he saw a group of glowing red robots staring at him.

“What's going on?” Shi Zhenda was a bit bewildered; hadn't he just arrived?

“Intruder detected! Annihilate! Annihilate!”

Clang! Clang! Countless “mass-produced” robots transformed their hands into air cannons and began attacking Shi Zhenda.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

“Damn it!” Shi Zhenda was speechless; he hadn't expected to be attacked by “his own faction” as soon as he appeared.

“Thanks for the invite, just started and got severely beaten by my own faction.”

Don't smash the store without a book, understand?

Boom! Boom! Boom!

A series of explosions.

“Beep, beep, beep, no life signs detected…”

These robots stopped attacking, then turned and returned to their original forms, striding away into the distance.

The smoke and dust slowly dissipated.

“Phew~ That was close~” From a distance, Shi Zhenda watched the robots move away, a faint gray mist swirling around him.

He was masking his aura, a mystical ability; sometimes, technology indeed has difficulty detecting it.

Krom, being a mechanical civilization, is also technology-based, but it hasn't reached the level of an advanced civilization where even mystical abilities could be “detected” to a certain extent.

After all, all paths lead to the same destination; the end of science is also metaphysics.

Shi Zhenda looked around and realized that his faction this time belonged to a mechanical civilization.

“Good heavens! Is this hell difficulty?” Shi Zhenda had a headache; this kind of mechanical civilization was the hardest for managing identity... and he couldn't show his face; they were all machines, why would he have flesh and blood?

Wouldn't he be caught as soon as he appeared?

Shi Zhenda felt a headache coming on, but if he was careful... it should be fine, right? He should find an exit first...

Although it was tough, he had to push through; after all, this was the Main God Space... not some charity organization; it was life-threatening.

The other Reincarnator who also “spawned” in Krom had similar experiences.

For a moment, it was hard to tell who to feel sorrier for.

And just as things were slowly starting to “stir up trouble” over there, a small incident occurred on Tang Ziheng’s side.

“Hmm~” Tang Ziheng looked as the system actually proactively asked him for source points to upgrade.

“No, you don’t even look at the source points you need to upgrade... How can you have the nerve to ask me?” Tang Ziheng rolled his eyes and said.

However, Tang Ziheng was also a bit surprised; the system actually proactively asked him for source points to upgrade?

This did surprise Tang Ziheng. After all, the system was just like him, quite laid-back and also quite “scheming.”

Tang Ziheng hadn’t expected that one day the system would actually proactively ask him for source points to upgrade.
