777: Chapter 777 Peter at Battle and the Spectators

"Tony Stark! My patience is limited. Also, you'd better keep your mouth clean. I value you, but I don't rely on you!" Upon hearing Tony's words, the Viscount's expression darkened, and a hint of anger appeared on his pale face.

As he spoke, his teeth sharpened and his pupils changed, making him look more like a vampire—oh, sorry, he is a vampire.

While speaking, the Viscount glanced at the still-calm Clarissa.

"Good courage~" The Viscount nodded slightly, then looked at Peter, Gwen, and Lorna nearby.

He then said angrily, "What are you all standing there for! Deal with these people already! Take the two women to the back; they look quite attractive and would make good resources. As for this man, you guys can split him up!"

"Holy shit! This is blatant discrimination!" Peter immediately said to the Viscount.

"Heh~ look at your pathetic state. Do you actually think you're worthy of the Great Embrace? To gain the power and immortality of a vampire? Forget becoming a vampire; you don't even have the qualifications to be a Blood Servant!" the Viscount sneered at Peter.

Then, the nearby Blood Servants immediately rushed toward Peter.

They weren't true vampires, but they were much stronger than ordinary humans.

Once a Blood Servant, always a Blood Servant. As for turning things around? It was basically impossible.

Furthermore, Blood Servants were merely commodities and slaves to vampires!

Peter saw red—literally.

He was so triggered by the Viscount's words that he was practically boiling with rage!

"Fuck! Who the hell would want to be a monstrous piece of trash like that! A bunch of smelly bats that can't stand the light!" Peter cursed loudly. He kicked the two rushing Blood Servants, sending them flying over a dozen meters away. They crashed heavily onto the ground, the terrifying force making them clutch their stomachs and retch in agony.

It looked like they wouldn't be getting up anytime soon.

"Hmm?" Seeing this, the Viscount's eyebrows shot up, and he became somewhat interested. "It seems you're not an ordinary person! Not bad, you've got some brute strength in you!"

"Go!" the Viscount commanded. Subsequently, two ordinary Vampire Warriors rushed straight at Peter.

With a whoosh, they moved so fast that they appeared as mere afterimages to an ordinary person.

"Peter, watch out!" Gwen couldn't help but cry out. In her eyes, the vampires' speed was nothing but a blur, making it impossible to see them clearly. She couldn't help but worry for Peter's safety.

Even though she knew Peter was Spider-Man, a superhero of the night!

However, from various news reports, Peter's strength didn't seem that impressive; he just had Spider Silk, could swing around, and was very agile. Dealing with ordinary people was certainly simple enough for him.

But those in front of them were the "legendary" vampires!

Legendary creatures that were immortal and possessed terrifying strength!

Yet, ordinary vampire soldiers were no match at all for the spider-like Peter.

With his sixth-sense-like Spider-Sense, coupled with dozens of tons of strength—his limit could even reach a freakish 100 tons—and his ultra-agile movements, he could even handle 25-ton grade Spider Silk...

Thwip, thwip~

In a few flips, Peter not only dodged the Vampire Warriors' attacks but also bound them directly with his Spider Silk.

The two Vampire Warriors, now looking like cocoons, fell to the ground and tried to struggle, but they only managed to squirm a bit.

They couldn't break free at all!

Once bound, their one ton of strength was completely useless. What the hell was this stuff made of?!

The two Vampire Warriors cursed in their hearts, simultaneously filled with fear.

"Done. Is that all vampires are?" Peter clapped his hands and said with a look of disdain.

It seemed these legendary vampires were nothing special!

"Heh~ it seems you have some skill! But do you think you're invincible just because you beat a few lackeys?" The Viscount sneered and waved his hand. "Baron, you go."

The Baron from before immediately understood and lunged toward Peter.

Compared to ordinary Vampire Warriors, a vampire Baron was clearly several levels higher in strength.

He was so fast that Gwen felt she couldn't track his movements at all; she only saw dark shadows flickering before her eyes, as if she were seeing things.

"Holy shit!" Tony, watching the "superhuman" melee up close, couldn't help but swear.

It seemed his MK armor needed to be upgraded, upgraded, and upgraded again, especially its high-speed capture capabilities... otherwise, he would have a hard time dealing with even a vampire!

And judging by what that vampire said, he called one a Baron... Tony immediately began analyzing the potential strength levels and status hierarchy of these vampires.

Blood Servant < Ordinary Vampire Warrior < Baron < Viscount... the higher the title, the greater the strength.

Based on this hierarchy, someone who could command a Baron—whose strength had soared by several levels—must be at least a Viscount... Calculating this level of intensity, cold sweat broke out on Tony's forehead.

He really needed to upgrade his MK armor like crazy when he got back!

Oh right, he also needed an Anti-Lorna suit... an Anti-Peter suit... Tony had also witnessed Peter's agility, terrifying strength, and that ridiculously tough Spider Silk.

That Spider Silk could withstand at least several tons of force, as evidenced by the two Vampire Warriors squirming on the ground.

In other words, if his current MK2 went up against Peter, let alone a direct confrontation, if the latter tied up the MK2 with a strand of silk, the suit would be "rendered useless" immediately.

He wouldn't be able to break free at all. He wondered if fire attacks were especially effective against Spider Silk... maybe he should install a "combustion device" all over the suit?

While watching the battle, Tony was simultaneously performing calculations and planning for the future.

Clarissa, on the other hand, watched the fight with great interest. One reason was to oversee the situation, and the other was curiosity about Peter's current combat level; furthermore, she wanted him to fight more "superpowered individuals" to gain experience.

"Clarissa, should I go help Peter?" Lorna asked Clarissa in a low voice.

"No need. Your ability isn't very effective here right now, and the vampires are too fast. You're still far from ready. In the future, you must work harder to Cultivate your superpower, and you'll need to put more effort into your cultivation later on," Clarissa said to Lorna, shaking her head slightly.

"Mhm, I know!" Lorna nodded earnestly. She naturally craved power and wanted to protect the hard-won good life she had now.

As for her former companions... and Eclipse, who might have become her boyfriend... sorry, she didn't know them.

It was mainly because Lorna hadn't spent that much time with those companions. Furthermore, while they were struggling and hiding, they never knew when they might die—it was all about living for the moment!

Plus, because of Eclipse's protection and favoritism toward Lorna, their feelings had developed quickly.

But now~ too much had changed.

Besides, everyone had run away that day, leaving Lorna behind.

She had been the one covering everyone's escape, so she didn't feel like she owed her former partners anything.
