306: The thieves were so dazzled, it was a world where gold was everywhere.

Meng Ziyi pouted and said, "Then what should we do?"

Ye Bai pondered for a moment and suddenly said, "I've thought of a way. Let's head back first!"

They hurriedly exited the Passage and climbed up from the other end, observing the terrain along the way.

Ye Bai suddenly pointed to a certain spot on the ground and said, "Look here."

Yang Mi looked over and found that it was a dead end.

"It seems we can only go through here." Ye Bai pointed to that location, gesturing for them to keep moving forward.

Ye Bai took the lead and walked toward the depths of the Cave.

"Hey! Wait for us!" Meng Ziyi and Yang Mi hurriedly followed.

When Ye Bai reached the end, he found a set of stairs.

He climbed the steps. The staircase was long, leading all the way to the bottom of the Cave, where he arrived in a vast hall.

The entire hall was very spacious, occupying an area of at least a hundred square meters.

In the northernmost corner of the hall, there was a water vat.

The vat was massive, five or six meters in diameter, and filled with a green liquid. As soon as Ye Bai entered, he felt a bone-chilling cold surge through his body, as if he were about to be frozen solid. His eyes narrowed slightly, and his alertness reached its peak.

Meng Ziyi and Yang Mi followed closely behind, both appearing very excited.

"Wow! So many jewels and accessories!" Yang Mi shouted excitedly.

Meng Ziyi looked at the jewelry in amazement and said, "These are all gold! There's jade, emerald..."

Overjoyed, Yang Mi grabbed the nearest luminous pearl, stroking it as if she couldn't bear to put it down. With a brilliant smile, she said, "Heavens! This is much more beautiful than any I've seen in magazines!"

Ye Bai scanned the items in the hall, his gaze landing on the southern side.

On the southern side of the hall was a wooden bed, covered with a thick brocade quilt.

"Look, everyone! There's actually a painting there," Yang Mi called out excitedly.

Meng Ziyi and Ye Bai walked over.

It was a giant landscape painting that took up half the space in the hall.

The author of the landscape painting was named 'Wu Daozi,' a grandmaster of literature who wrote works such as the 'Thousand Character Classic' and 'The Analects,' and had once been invited by the Nationalist Government to join the revolution.

"So beautiful!" Meng Ziyi murmured in admiration.

"This painting was likely created by Wu Daozi during his lifetime. On the eve of his passing, he poured his life's work into this painting, hoping to pass it down," Ye Bai said slowly, staring at the scroll.

"Then let's take it with us," Yang Mi suggested.

"Mm-hmm," Meng Ziyi agreed.

Yang Mi stepped forward and carefully took down the scroll, preparing to put it into her suitcase. Right then, a sudden change occurred!

The scroll, which had been perfectly normal, suddenly flickered and began to burn rapidly.

"Ah!" The three of them screamed in fright.

Ye Bai lunged forward and tore the painting away. His strength was extraordinarily powerful, and he actually ripped the painting apart by force.

The scroll came loose from the frame and drifted down.

Yang Mi and Meng Ziyi hurriedly picked up the painting, only to find it had already burned into a pile of ash.

"How could this painting just catch fire on its own?" Meng Ziyi asked, terrified.

Ye Bai glanced at her indifferently and said coldly, "Don't ask me, I don't know what happened either."

Yang Mi's face was pale and her whole body trembled. Shaking, she said, "Then... then what do we do now?"

"This is an antique. If sold, it would be worth at least two or three hundred million," Ye Bai said in a low voice.

"Ah! You're crazy!" Yang Mi exclaimed.

Ye Bai looked at Yang Mi and said, "In any case, this painting is ruined. We need to find a way out quickly. Otherwise, we'll definitely die here!"

"But... but how do we get out? It's pitch black here, we can't see anything."

"You're afraid of the dark; I don't mind it."

Ye Bai took Meng Ziyi's hand and had her take his arm, saying, "Let's go."

The three of them climbed back up the stairs.

When they reached the end, they found a circular plaza.

The plaza was carved with dragons and phoenixes, looking luxurious and grand.

In the center of the plaza stood nine massive Stone Pillars, each about twenty meters high.

On the walls surrounding the plaza, there were many reliefs depicting various patterns of deities. These patterns were lifelike and awe-inspiring.

Ye Bai and the others stood in the plaza, looking around.

There was no sign of any exit or mechanism. The only thing they could do was wait for rescue.

Ye Bai crouched down and carefully examined the ground.

At a spot about eight meters from the ground, a brick had cracked open.

Ye Bai walked over and picked up the broken brick.

*Crack!* The broken brick instantly shattered into powder.

Ye Bai frowned in thought.

"Ye Bai, what are you doing?" Yang Mi asked.

"Come over here!" Ye Bai called the two women over, then held his right hand, which had just held the broken brick, in front of their eyes.

"What does this mean?" Meng Ziyi was puzzled.

"I don't know either. But I suspect this brick might have a hidden compartment," Ye Bai said seriously.

"Where is the hidden compartment?" Yang Mi asked.

Ye Bai used his left index finger to point at the brick.

"Could it be on the back of the hand?" Yang Mi said.

Ye Bai nodded and said, "Let's try."

He clenched his fist and struck his right palm.

*Thump!* His fist hit his right palm, letting out a dull thud.

The sound was like striking a steel plate.

Ye Bai frowned, repeatedly examining his right hand. Yang Mi and Meng Ziyi stared at him nervously, not daring to breathe.

"This hidden compartment might not be so easy to open," Ye Bai pondered.

Yang Mi bit her lip and said worriedly, "Then what should we do? We won't really be trapped here and unable to get out, will we?"

Meng Ziyi also echoed anxiously, "Yeah, Ye Bai, quickly think of something."

Ye Bai was silent for a moment, then said slowly, "Don't panic yet, let me take another careful look at the surroundings." He stood up and paced around the plaza, his sharp gaze scanning every detail.

In the Live Stream Room, the viewers were also incredibly nervous.

"Oh no, what are they going to do? Are they really trapped in the tomb?"

"Boss Ye Bai must find a way to get Mi Mi and Ziyi out!"

"This tomb is too eerie; it feels like there's danger everywhere."

"I hope they're safe, otherwise I won't even dare to keep watching."

Ye Bai stopped in his tracks and looked at the nine massive Stone Pillars again. He suddenly thought of something and said, "The placement of these Stone Pillars seems a bit suspicious; it might be related to the way out."

Yang Mi asked in confusion, "What could the Stone Pillars have to do with it?"

Ye Bai explained, "In Feng Shui Metaphysics, orientation and layout are extremely important. The positions of these nine Stone Pillars might correspond to some kind of formation; perhaps we can find a clue to the exit."

Meng Ziyi nodded, only half-understanding, "Then what should we do now?"

Ye Bai walked around the Stone Pillars once and said, "Let's first observe the reliefs on these Stone Pillars and see if there's anything special about them."
