372: Amazing comprehension, the secret of the parchment scrolls

He began to try touching the corresponding symbols on the Stone Door in the order of the patterns he had seen on the stone coffin.

When he touched the last symbol, the Stone Door emitted a dull sound and slowly opened.

A musty scent rushed towards them; behind the Stone Door was a massive Treasure Trove, filled with gold, silver, jewelry, antique artifacts, and some objects that looked extremely mysterious.

The Live Stream Room instantly boiled over, and the audience let out bursts of exclamation.

"My god, so many treasures!"

"This is simply a Treasure Trove!"

The Archaeologists were even more unable to contain their excitement.

"These artifacts are too precious; each one may possess unique historical value."

"This is an unprecedented archaeological discovery; we must ensure their safety."

Meng Ziyi and Yang Mi excitedly walked into the Treasure Trove, stunned by the scene before them.

"These jewels are so beautiful!" Meng Ziyi couldn't help but pick up a string of pearl necklaces.

"Don't move around!" Ye Bai reprimanded in a low voice, "These things might be protected by a mechanism, don't act rashly."

Meng Ziyi was startled and quickly put down the necklace.

Ye Bai walked cautiously through the Treasure Trove and discovered a huge Mural on the wall, depicting an ancient sacrificial scene that was somewhat similar to the ritual they had previously experienced in the Ancient Tomb.

In the center of the Mural was a huge figure holding a box in its hands; the pattern on the box was exactly the same as the mark on the map.

"It seems the thing we are looking for is in here," Ye Bai said, pointing at the Mural.

Just then, a melodious sound of music suddenly rang out in the Treasure Trove, ethereal and eerie.

As the music played, the gold, silver, jewelry, and artifacts began to tremble slightly.

"Not good, there's a mechanism!" Ye Bai said in a low voice.

Cracks began to appear on the floor of the Treasure Trove, and streams of fire spewed out from them.

Yang Mi and Meng Ziyi screamed in fear.

"Run over there!" Ye Bai pointed to a corner of the Treasure Trove, where there was a Passage that looked relatively safe.

The three of them ran towards the Passage, with the flames chasing behind them.

Having finally reached the entrance of the Passage, Ye Bai discovered it was blocked by a light screen.

"This is a Seal; we need to break it to pass through," Ye Bai said, looking at the light screen.

He began looking for clues to break it around the light screen, when suddenly he discovered some faint patterns on it that seemed to have some connection to the markings on the various artifacts they had seen earlier.

Ye Bai closed his eyes, recalling all the patterns he had seen before, and then reached out to gently trace them on the light screen.

As he moved, the patterns on the light screen began to flicker.

The audience in the Live Stream Room watched nervously; the bullet comments decreased significantly as everyone held their breath, waiting for the result.

The Archaeologists were also sweating for Ye Bai.

Finally, the light on the screen flared brightly and then slowly vanished.

"Hurry, go!" Ye Bai shouted, and the three of them rushed into the Passage.

The Passage was filled with mysterious mist, and they could only grope their way forward.

After walking for a while, they discovered a huge hall ahead, with a Stone Platform in the center, and on the Stone Platform sat a box—the very same one depicted in the Mural.

"That's it!" Ye Bai walked quickly towards it.

When he approached the box, he suddenly felt a powerful force surging from it, as if trying to prevent him from getting close.

"This force is so strong; it seems this box is not simple," Ye Bai frowned.

He tried to touch the box with his golden staff, but the moment the golden staff touched the box, a flash of light erupted, and Ye Bai was knocked back a few steps.

"Ye Bai, are you alright?" Yang Mi and Meng Ziyi rushed over.

"I'm fine. This box has a very strong protective force; we have to find a way to break it," Ye Bai said.

The Archaeologists in the Live Stream Room began to discuss.

"This box looks like the key; it might require a specific method to open."

"Judging from the previous clues, could it be related to those patterns or the arrangement of the artifacts?"

Ye Bai stood in place, thinking of a way to break it.

He suddenly thought of the marks on the map and the layout of the artifacts in the Treasure Trove, and a bold idea formed in his mind.

He began searching for items in the hall that corresponded to the marks on the map, then arranged them in a certain order.

In the Live Stream Room, the Archaeologists were deeply shocked to see Ye Bai's actions.

"This young man is truly extraordinary! His comprehension of these ancient symbols and clues is astounding."

An elderly archaeologist exclaimed, pushing up his glasses, his eyes full of admiration for Ye Bai.

"Indeed, most people would have been at a loss when faced with such a complex situation, yet he is able to analyze it so calmly and find a way to break it; this ability is extremely rare in our archaeological field."

Another scholar chimed in, staring nervously at the screen, his hands clenched unconsciously.

As Ye Bai arranged the items in the hall according to his ideas, the hearts of the Archaeologists were in their throats.

They watched intently, as if they themselves were in that mysterious Ancient Tomb.

As Ye Bai placed the last item, the light on the box began to flicker violently, and the protective force seemed to be changing.

"It's working! It seems he found the right method."

A female archaeologist said excitedly, her voice trembling slightly, her eyes shining with anticipation.

At this moment, Ye Bai walked towards the box again, took a deep breath, and slowly reached out his hand.

This time, when his hand touched the box, the powerful repulsive force from before was gone.

He gently picked up the box, feeling its weight.

"Open it!"

Someone sent this bullet comment in the Live Stream Room, and instantly, the screen was filled with similar messages; the audience couldn't wait to know what was inside the box.

Although the Archaeologists were also looking forward to it, they were still a bit worried about the safety of the artifact.

"I hope he is careful; the things inside this box might be very fragile," an old archaeologist reminded.

Ye Bai carefully opened the box; inside was a crystal skull emitting a strange light.

The skull was engraved with dense runes, which seemed to be flowing, as if containing mysterious power.

Beside the skull, there was also an ancient parchment scroll, which looked very old.

"This... this is a crystal skull!" Meng Ziyi exclaimed in surprise.

"And this scroll, the characters on it seem very ancient," Yang Mi also leaned in to observe.

The Live Stream Room boiled over once again.

"A crystal skull! Is it real or fake? This is too magical!"

"The content on that scroll must be very important; perhaps it's a clue to an ancient Treasure Trove."

The Archaeologists were plunged into deep shock and contemplation.

"The crystal skull has always been a mystery in the archaeological world; I didn't expect it to appear here. This might change our understanding of ancient civilizations," a senior archaeologist muttered to himself.

"The material and writing style of this scroll are very unique; we need further research to know its value. But one thing is certain, this is a major discovery," another archaeologist said.

Just then, the entire hall suddenly began to shake violently, and many cracks appeared on the surrounding walls, as if the entire Ancient Tomb was about to collapse.

"Not good, the mechanism was triggered; this place is going to collapse! We must leave immediately," Ye Bai shouted.
