352: Teacher Ye, you're truly doing the right thing by doing the wrong thing.

The Ghoul struggled within the Light Net, its body beginning to smoke as it let out a howl of agony.

"Great! Great God Ye is so clever!" The viewers in the Live Stream Room cheered.

"Folklore really is useful; Great God Ye is mighty!"

Just as Ye Bai thought he could subdue the Ghoul...

Suddenly, the light in the Tomb Chamber grew even dimmer, and the glow from the once-shining gems began to fade.

"What's going on?" Ye Bai’s brow furrowed.

He saw a massive dark shadow appear at the top of the Tomb Chamber. It looked like a giant bat, spreading its wings and blocking the faint light in the room.

As the light was blocked, the Ghoul gradually regained its strength. It broke free from the Light Net's shackles and lunged at Ye Bai once more.

"What the hell is this now?" Ye Bai cursed under his breath.

The viewers in the Live Stream Room also grew tense.

"My god, just how many monsters are in this Ancient Tomb?"

"Great God Ye needs to be careful; I feel like it's even more dangerous this time."

Ye Bai dodged the Ghoul's attacks while observing the giant bat.

He noticed the bat's eyes flickering with an eerie red light; it seemed to be controlling the light within the Tomb Chamber.

"It looks like I have to deal with this bat first," Ye Bai thought.

He took out the Seven Treasure Umbrella and threw it toward the bat.

The Seven Treasure Umbrella spun in the air, emitting a faint golden light as it flew toward the bat.

Sensing a threat, the bat let out a sharp shriek and pounced toward the Seven Treasure Umbrella.

The two collided in mid-air with a loud crash. The Seven Treasure Umbrella was knocked back, and the bat was also shaken by the impact.

"This bat is quite powerful!" Ye Bai caught the Seven Treasure Umbrella, feeling somewhat surprised.

By this time, Meng Ziyi had already placed Yang Mi in a relatively safe corner. Seeing Ye Bai in a predicament, she wanted to come over and help.

"Great God Ye, I'll help you!" Meng Ziyi shouted.

"Don't come over! Take care of Mi Mi; I have a way," Ye Bai shouted back.

Ye Bai began chanting under his breath, and the Seven Treasure Umbrella in his hand started to vibrate violently, emitting a dazzling light.

The surrounding air seemed to be stirred up, forming a powerful current.

The temperature in the Tomb Chamber rose sharply, and the once-cold burial objects began to heat up slightly.

The Ghoul and the bat seemed to sense danger; they stopped their attacks and watched Ye Bai warily.

"Break!" Ye Bai suddenly snapped his eyes open and gave a loud shout.

The light from the Seven Treasure Umbrella transformed into a massive pillar of light, shooting toward the Ghoul and the bat.

Everywhere the pillar of light passed, everything was destroyed. Stones from the walls fell one after another, and the burial objects were shattered to pieces.

The Ghoul and the bat tried to dodge, but the pillar of light was too fast. They were struck and let out screams of pain.

After the pillar of light persisted for a moment, it gradually vanished.

"Great God Ye, are you okay?" Meng Ziyi ran over and asked.

"I'm fine. They should be dealt with," Ye Bai said.

The viewers in the Live Stream Room breathed a sigh of relief.

"That was so close. Thankfully, Great God Ye is powerful."

"This is practically a battle between gods; it's so thrilling."

Just as they thought the crisis was over, the melodious sound of a flute suddenly drifted from the depths of the Tomb Chamber.

The flute music was graceful and flowing, yet it carried an indescribable eeriness that sent chills down one's spine.

"This flute music... it seems to be coming from the Yellow Springs Road," Ye Bai murmured to himself.

"Yellow Springs Road? Great God Ye, don't scare me," Meng Ziyi said fearfully.

The viewers in the Live Stream Room were also quite frightened.

"Oh my god, Yellow Springs Road? This is trying to lead them to their deaths!"

"How many more secrets are in this Ancient Tomb? It's getting more and more terrifying."

Ye Bai gripped the Seven Treasure Umbrella tightly and walked toward the direction of the flute music.

Meng Ziyi hesitated for a moment before following him.

They passed through a narrow passage and arrived at a new Tomb Chamber. This chamber was filled with a layer of white mist, and within the mist, figures could be seen faintly moving.

"Is anyone there?" Ye Bai called out.

But no one answered; only the melodious flute music echoed through the Tomb Chamber.

Ye Bai stepped into the mist and discovered that the figures were souls dressed in ancient attire. Their faces were pale, their eyes hollow, and they held various instruments, playing that eerie melody.

"This is... the Netherworld Orchestra?" Ye Bai was somewhat surprised.

In folklore, the Netherworld Orchestra is a terrifying supernatural phenomenon. They appear in Ancient Tombs or places with heavy Yin Qi, using music to bewitch the living and then drain their souls.

"We can't listen to this music; we'll be bewitched," Ye Bai said to Meng Ziyi.

He took out several Soundproofing Talismans and gave some to Meng Ziyi.

"Stick these on your ears; they can temporarily block out the music."

"Thank you, Great God Ye," Meng Ziyi said, quickly sticking the Soundproofing Talismans on her ears.

Afterward, Ye Bai held up the Seven Treasure Umbrella and approached the souls.

Upon seeing a living person, the souls showed no panic or fear. Instead, they continued playing their music, the sound filled with a seductive power that made one want to sink into it and never wake up.

Ye Bai's will was as firm as iron; this kind of music couldn't affect him at all.

Soon, Ye Bai reached the place where the souls were most concentrated—the soul playing the flute.

As he drew closer to the soul, he suddenly felt a strong surge of mental fluctuations—emotions like resentment, anger, and hatred.

"Could there be something wrong with this soul?" Ye Bai stared intently at the flute-playing soul, trying to find a clue.

Unfortunately, the soul was flawless, leaving no trace behind.

"For some reason, I feel like this soul is filled with sadness," Ye Bai muttered.

He focused his attention on the flute-playing soul and slowly approached, preparing to uncover the mystery.

Ye Bai reached out, wanting to touch the flute-playing soul's cheek. The moment he made contact, his whole body shuddered as he felt an incredibly dense resentment.

This resentment rushed straight to his head; Ye Bai felt as if he were about to be possessed.

At this critical moment, the Seven Treasure Umbrella within him suddenly leaped.

The Seven Treasure Umbrella emitted a brilliant light, blocking the erosion of the resentment.

"What's happening?" Ye Bai felt a surge of joy.

The Seven Treasure Umbrella was actually protecting its master!

Ye Bai looked at the Seven Treasure Umbrella and saw it rotating slowly, emitting a faint golden glow.

"Could it be that the Seven Treasure Umbrella can counter this resentment?" Overjoyed, Ye Bai accelerated his finger movements again.

The light from the Seven Treasure Umbrella grew even brighter, enveloping the entire Tomb Chamber and driving the resentment away from Ye Bai.

After absorbing the resentment, the Seven Treasure Umbrella became even more mysterious. Ye Bai felt that it had grown a little more, seemingly able to carry even more.

"This... what's going on?" Ye Bai was stunned for a moment, then quickly retreated to Meng Ziyi's side.
