382: The Qinling Divine Tomb is ready to be set off.

The vehicle carrying the group drove along the winding mountain road, gradually approaching the depths of the Qinling Mountains.

The atmosphere inside the car was somewhat heavy; everyone gazed out the window at the lush yet mysterious mountain forest.

Suddenly, the car jolted violently. The driver fiddled with something for a moment before shouting to the back, "It seems like a tire blew out!"

Everyone quickly got out of the car to check. The tire had been punctured by some unknown sharp object.

Fatty cursed, "We haven't even arrived at the destination yet, and we're already having issues. This isn't a good sign."

Wu Xie crouched down to examine the tire, his brows furrowed tightly. "This doesn't look like a normal puncture; it seems more like someone did this on purpose."

Ye Bai looked around. The mountain forest was dead silent, with only the rustling of wind through the leaves. He had the distinct feeling of being watched. "Everyone, be careful. Something might be going on."

Just then, Xin Xin screamed, "Look, what is that!"

The group followed the direction she was pointing and saw several black shadows flash through the woods.

Tian Xiwei turned pale with fright, gripping Yang Mi's arm tightly.

Although Yang Mi was also somewhat afraid, she forced herself to remain calm. "Don't be afraid. It's probably just some kind of wild animal."

San Shu picked up his weapon. "No matter what it is, we must handle it with caution."

Saying this, he led Wu Xie and Fatty as they slowly walked in the direction where the shadows had disappeared.

Ye Bai had the few Female Celebrity members stay by the car while he followed.

When they got closer, they discovered it was actually a few people wearing tattered clothes, their eyes vacant and their behavior very strange.

Fatty said in surprise, "These people don't look right. Could they be possessed?"

After observing them carefully, Wu Xie said, "They seem to be controlled by something. Everyone, don't act rashly."

Suddenly, those strange people rushed toward them, emitting low roars.

The group immediately engaged in a struggle with them.

Fortunately, although these people were fierce, their movements were somewhat stiff, and with the coordination of Wu Xie and the others, they were quickly subdued.

Ye Bai panted, "What exactly is going on here? Where did these people come from?"

San Shu shook his head. "I'm not sure, but it must be related to the mysterious power of the Qinling Mountains. It seems we need to be on high alert from now on."

After resolving this small incident, the group continued their journey and finally arrived near the entrance of the Qinling Ancient Tomb.

The entrance was hidden behind a patch of dense vegetation, difficult to spot if one didn't look carefully.

Looking at the gloomy entrance, Tian Xiwei said hesitantly, "Do we really have to go in? It feels like a man-eating monster."

Yang Mi encouraged her, "Since we're already here, we need to complete this expedition."

After entering the Ancient Tomb, the air was filled with a stale, decaying odor.

The walls were covered in strange symbols and patterns.

As he walked, Wu Xie observed them closely. "These symbols are very ancient; they might hide the secrets of the Ancient Tomb."

Xin Xin asked curiously, "Brother Wu Xie, can you understand these?"

Wu Xie frowned. "I can understand some of them, but it will take time to study them."

Fatty was scouting ahead when he suddenly shouted, "Everyone, be careful, there's a mechanism!"

Sharp spikes appeared on the ground ahead, constantly emerging from the ground and retracting.

San Shu took out his tools. "It seems we need to find a way to crack this mechanism."

He and Wu Xie studied it for a while, found the control hub of the mechanism, and successfully stopped the spikes from moving.

As they went deeper into the Ancient Tomb, the temperature dropped lower and lower, and everyone could see the white breath they exhaled.

Tian Xiwei shivered with cold. "It's so cold; why is it so cold here?"

Yang Mi handed her own coat to her. "Put this on, don't freeze."

Just then, a gloomy sound came from all around, like someone weeping, or perhaps the whistling of wind passing through the narrow Passage.

Xin Xin covered her head in fear. "I don't want to hear this sound, it's too terrifying."

Wu Xie held Xin Xin in his arms. "There, there, don't be afraid, Big Brother will protect you."

San Shu said, "Everyone, stay alert. I'll turn on the lights before we go further in, to prevent any sneak attacks or traps."

After speaking, he followed his memory to feel for the location of the switch.

Sure enough, once pressed, the entire Passage instantly became bright.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief and continued walking forward.

The Passage was very spacious, with stone walls and stalactites on both sides, emitting a pale green, lustrous glow, which appeared quite serene.

Suddenly, San Shu stopped and said loudly, "Everyone, be careful, there is blood here!"

Upon hearing this, everyone immediately tensed up and drew their weapons one after another.

Wu Xie walked to the front and used the butt of his gun to smash a stone wall, revealing a humanoid Corpse lying by the grass.

The Corpse was already shriveled and stinking; it must have been dead for a very long time.

The group was just about to leave this eerie Cave when a pitch-black object fell from the top of the Cave.

"Thud—" With a loud bang, the object hit the ground, rolling a few times before stopping.

Wu Xie bent down to pick it up and saw that it was actually a head.

This head was covered in moss, its skin withered and yellow, cheeks sunken, and eyes wide open.

At first glance, it didn't look like a human head at all.

It lay on its back on the ground, motionless, adding a touch of eeriness.

"What... what is this ghost of a thing!"

Encountering this kind of scene on her first time participating in the program, even Tian Xiwei, who frequently participated in Secret Chamber programs, had cold sweat breaking out.

Fatty frowned. "It seems we are very close to that area now."

But to be honest, this scene was truly too shocking.

A massive stench of decay filled their nostrils.

San Shu looked at Ye Bai and keenly noticed that his expression was off. He asked suspiciously, "Mr. Ye, what's wrong?"

Ye Bai shook his head. "The state of this rotting corpse is very wrong."

San Shu comforted everyone. "Don't worry, since the head has fallen off, it proves that he is already dead. Everyone, be careful."

Everyone moved their feet slowly, trying their best to stay away from the head, afraid of attracting unnecessary trouble.

Suddenly, a "gurgling" sound came from ahead, as if some monster was crawling out.

Everyone couldn't help but swallow their saliva, their palms sweating, watching the front nervously.

"Gurgle, gurgle," the sound became increasingly urgent, as if something would jump out the very next second.

Fatty swallowed his saliva and said tremblingly, "San Shu... this... this couldn't be a Corpse, could it?"

San Shu said seriously, "No, this should be a mechanism. Everyone, watch your step, do not step on the wrong thing."

The group moved forward cautiously.

Every step they took, the mechanism sounded, as if they had triggered some kind of switch.

At this moment, a black shadow darted out rapidly, lunging straight at Fatty.

The group exclaimed in shock.

San Shu ran over, blocked in front of Fatty, and raised the hunting knife in his hand, slashing down fiercely!

The black shadow flashed and vanished; it had actually run away.

Fatty rubbed his butt and said, "Damn! That scared the hell out of me just now!"

Yang Mi also ran over and asked nervously, "San Shu, are you okay?"

San Shu waved his hand. "Don't worry, San Shu has a tough life; how could I possibly get hurt?"

Looking at the pool of blood and the ferocious head on the ground, cold sweat seeped from everyone's backs.
