185: Teachings from predecessors
The penetrating force struck, directly pulverizing the flesh and bones behind William's eyes, and incidentally blew off his skull.
Watching his brains splatter onto the wall, his skull blown off and embedded in the ceiling, and William's body slump limply under the table, Yang Dian shook his head.
He didn't know where William got his inexplicable confidence, daring to Face him alone, and even revealing that he had truly obtained Old William's precognitive talent.
Was he so certain that Yang Dian wouldn't, or wouldn't dare, kill him?
"Garbage precognitive talent."
"You'd be better off flipping a coin before leaving home to divine whether you'll encounter a bloody disaster."
As he spoke, Yang Dian tossed the Freemasons coin in his hand again.
The coin landed.
Tails.
"Tails means a bloody disaster."
Standing up, Yang Dian threw the coin onto William's body.
"Heads and standing on its edge also mean..."
He lifted his foot, and a bloody Qi spread over William's remains.
As his foot landed, the Qi vibrated with the frequency of his sole contacting the ground, directly pulverizing the corpse.
He flicked a finger, and a bloody streak of light flashed.
The skull, embedded in the ceiling and occasionally dripping brain matter, also turned into dust.
After taking care of everything, he strode out of the bar.
Passing the four girls from earlier, Yang Dian clearly sensed their fear.
They had seen what happened.
He stopped, looking at their trembling forms, and couldn't help but sigh:
"If I were you..."
Before he could finish, he suddenly turned his head to look towards The West.
"Whoa~ Such good luck? Really, something happens as soon as I arrive?"
He exclaimed, then lifted his foot again and walked outside:
"If I were you, I'd go hide in an air-raid shelter."
After speaking, he ignored the four girls, who looked like quails, pushed open the door, and walked onto the street.
Then, with a light leap, he jumped onto the rooftop of Riyadh's tallest building, the Fund Tower.
Intense gunfire and explosions came from The West of Riyadh.
Looking into the distance, one could see that the night there had turned crimson, as if a red sun had fallen to earth, bringing endless calamity.
Looking at the other skyscrapers.
On the top floor of the Kingdom Tower, 14 people, clad in medieval armor and holding various weapons, were also looking towards The West.
Presumably, they were from the Holy See.
There were also some people, in twos and threes or acting alone, hiding in the shadows of other building rooftops.
Presumably, these were the ones who knew fragments of information and wanted to gain benefits.
'If the Lizardman God attacks, I wonder how many people will die.'
As his thoughts churned, Yue Shan arrived beside Yang Dian.
He sniffed, then immediately frowned:
"You made a move?"
Yang Dian nodded, with no intention of hiding anything:
"I ran into William. He invited me to join the Freemasons and also revealed that he had gained Old William's precognitive ability after devouring Old William's blood."
"Although he said it was a simplified version of precognition and came with a heavy price."
"But I didn't know if he was telling the truth, so I simply killed him to be done with it."
"To save us trouble in the future."
Yue Shan nodded:
"Although your killing intent was a bit strong, I have to say you killed him well."
"When you encounter a Genius from an enemy faction who hasn't fully matured yet, you should just kill him on the spot."
"Otherwise, who knows how much trouble and casualties he might bring us once he grows up?"
"But were the loose ends handled cleanly?"
"Did you leave any evidence?"
"William just became a Saint of the Holy See and died directly by your hand. It would be a slap in the Face to the Holy See if it got out."
"Although they don't really have much Face to begin with, they are still the world's largest religious denomination. According to our current foreign policy, we should still give them the Face they deserve."
Thinking of his actions when he left, Yang Dian frowned:
"It should be considered cleanly handled, right?"
"When I killed William, I had the AI control the bar's surveillance and everyone's phones, ensuring no one could record it."
"After the deed, I pulverized his body."
"Besides that, only four girls saw me act."
Here, Yang Dian added:
"They are Huaxia people."
Yue Shan shook his head:
"You're clearly not professional."
As he spoke, he tossed an apple-sized golden sphere down from the building.
"You still lack Jianghu experience."
"Some experiences, it seems, still need to be taught to you by us old Seniors, hand-in-hand."
Yue Shan took out a golden sphere identical to the previous one and tossed it to Yang Dian:
"Nanosphere, composed of nanorobots, capable of decomposing and repairing most known substances."
As he spoke, he pushed up the portable detector hanging on his nose:
"I just watched the footage of your move, and I can only say your action was quite decisive, kid."
"Any witty remarks were saved until after you'd blown off William's skull."
"That's good."
"But the rest was mediocre."
"For example, the brain matter and blood splattered on the wall, the dust left after pulverizing William, the mark left by the skull on the ceiling, and those four little girls."
"I won't mention the traces, as you didn't have any way to deal with them before."
"But those little girls shouldn't have been handled that way."
"You should have taken them directly to the embassy, had the embassy send them back to the country overnight, and simultaneously filed a report with the organization to monitor them to a certain extent."
"Also, the video of you being filmed while shopping needs to be processed."
"For instance, have the AI generate a video of you not entering that bar and overwrite the original video..."
After a thorough lecture, Yue Shan asked:
"Did you remember?"
Yang Dian nodded earnestly:
"I remembered." "I remembered."
Why were there two voices?
The other voice came from Daoba.
Yue Shan turned to see Daoba's mechanical Face showing a serious expression, and his body stiffened involuntarily.
'If I lead Daoba astray, will that Old Qian Xueming come at me with a knife?'
'I'm not afraid of him coming at me with a knife, I'm just afraid he won't make super weapons for me in the future.'
Thinking of a future great battle where everyone else would have a set of super weapons, and he would be charging forward bare-chested, he shivered:
"Alright, I've already handled the loose ends for you." As he spoke, he glanced towards The West again.
The sound of artillery from The West had diminished by ninety-nine percent.
"It's time for us to depart. Let's try to keep the Lizardman God here."
Yue Shan moved first, soaring towards The West.
Daoba blinked, and after a "War Mode Activated" sound came from his player, his entire body turned bright silver, transforming into a silver streak to follow Yue Shan.
Chen Jie looked back at Riyadh's myriad lights, and his body transformed into a beam of light, arriving first and taking the lead in front of Yue Shan.
Yang Dian smacked his lips, and his entire body's Qi surged out like a Dragon, transforming into a crimson river that carried him across the night sky.
On the other side, on the rooftop of the King Tower.
Kamaier looked at the four streaks of light cutting across the night sky and couldn't help but frown:
"Where is William?"
The figure beside him, clad in medieval armor and holding a hammer, shook his head:
"He disappeared this afternoon. I don't know where he went."
As he spoke, he speculated:
"Perhaps he secretly infiltrated the Alien Planet by himself."
"Hmph." Kamaier snorted coldly, drawing the longsword from his waist:
"Heretics are simply untrustworthy."
"Prepare for battle, and let the Lord's glory shine upon this ignorant land..."
