528: I have seen too much evil, so I don't believe in truth, goodness and beauty.

19.5 billion kilometers from the Strange Star, Niu Ru Ren's spaceship, in the hibernation chamber.

As the hibernation pod continuously flashed green indicator lights, Arthur, a Niu Ru Ren standing 2.3 meters tall with a humanoid body, dark skin covered in keratin, and a head resembling a hippopotamus or a cow, once again rose from the cold cryogenic chamber.

Glancing at the star map on the hibernation pod, and the countdown beside it, Arthur raised a hoof and scratched his forehead:

"In another 175 planetary days, we'll reach our destination, won't we?"

Pushing open the hatch, he, as usual, retrieved a cup of dark green nutrient fluid from the self-service dispenser, then spoke:

"Rose, have we received any communication from the Beast-Ear Tribe civilization?"

"No, Arthur," the voice of the AI, Rose, came from the Bluetooth headset.

"After receiving the last communication seventeen months ago, I haven't received any further messages from the Beast-Ear Tribe."

"Oh, and Arthur, that time, the Beast-Ear Tribe's communicator said their base was about to be destroyed and their civilization had no future."

"Perhaps they have already perished under the 'Strange' attack."

"That would be a pity," a hint of regret appeared on Arthur's face.

"We spent so much time coming here, only to fail to save them..."

"I believe there will still be survivors of the Beast-Ear Tribe on the planet." Hearing a touch of regret in Arthur's tone, Rose couldn't help but advise him:

"As long as we find those survivors and give them a chance to multiply, I believe the Beast-Ear Tribe civilization will reappear on that planet."

Arthur, who had just finished a full cup of nutrient fluid, sighed:

"I hope so."

"The Universe is too vast, and the energy and wisdom of a single race are too insignificant."

"We need more civilizations to mutually verify wisdom with us and advance our scientific theories."

No sooner had Arthur finished speaking than the AI, Rose, spoke again:

"Oh, and Arthur, do you need me to wake the others?"

"The spaceship will arrive at the Beast-Ear Tribe's planet in half a year; they need to wake up in advance from hibernation and prepare for a potential war."

Arthur turned his head to look at the neat rows of hibernation pods in the hibernation chamber, then nodded:

"Wake them in three hours."

"During this time, I need to inspect the spaceship first, to avoid any accidents..."

In the spatial interlayer.

Watching the 'Hippopotamus Man' leave the hibernation pod after conversing with the smart computer, Yang Dian looked down at his wristband:

"Zero, when can you complete the translation of this unknown civilization's language?"

"Insufficient data and reference objects; the completion time for language translation cannot be determined at this moment."

Yang Dian raised an eyebrow.

'Machines, sometimes, truly can't compare to abilities.'

No sooner had the thought crossed his mind than Yang Dian had the Dimension Butterfly take him back to Earth. Then, without another word, he picked up Big Black Cat, and with a happy expression on its face, brought it to the 'Hippopotamus Man's' spaceship.

"Human," Big Black Cat rubbed against Yang Dian's chin.

"Are you taking me to play?"

Rubbing Big Black Cat's head twice, Yang Dian gestured towards the 'Hippopotamus Man' standing in the spaceship's main control room:

"Help me translate what he and the smart computer are saying."

After speaking, sensing the dejected mood rising from Big Black Cat, Yang Dian added:

"Once you complete the task, I'll take you to play."

Big Black Cat's eyes lit up:

"Human, I want to go skiing!"

"Alright," Yang Dian stroked Big Black Cat's soft fur and nodded.

"I'll take you skiing."

Big Black Cat meowed a few times, somewhat happily.

Then it spoke:

"Human, the broadcast says the power System is normal, the weapon System is normal, the energy System is normal, the reserve supplies are sufficient, the oxygen System is normal, the escape System is normal..."

After saying 'normal' an unknown number of times, as Arthur spoke, Big Black Cat translated again:

"Human, the Big Hippopotamus says: 'Lucy,' locate the wormhole coordinates, formulate an escape plan."

"Human, the broadcast says: Wormhole coordinates locked, escape pod can be used at any time for spatial jump, to depart from the Beast-Ear Tribe planet, and enter the wormhole..."

As Big Black Cat continuously translated, Yang Dian gradually learned the current situation and the identity of the 'Hippopotamus Man'.

In short, after the demonic Heavenly Dao invaded the Beast-Ear Tribe's home planet, the Beast-Ear Tribe, unable to resist the demonic Heavenly Dao's invasion, placed their hopes in deep space, sending out numerous distress signals, hoping that a Universe civilization would receive the signal and save them.

Three years ago, the Niu Ru Ren Tribe received the signal sent by the Beast-Ear Tribe civilization into deep space.

After determining that their strength was capable of resisting the Strange, they dispatched a spaceship, passing through a naturally formed wormhole to the Strange Star System, preparing to rescue the Beast-Ear Tribe.

Thinking this, Yang Dian felt something was amiss again.

"You're saying, the Niu Ru Ren Tribe genuinely wants to rescue the Beast-Ear Tribe without compensation?"

Big Black Cat, comfortable from Yang Dian's petting, rolled over, exposing its belly:

"Human, I don't know either. I just translate what the Big Hippopotamus and the broadcast say to you. I am a kitten, and kittens don't need to think too much."

Yang Dian rubbed Big Black Cat's belly with some amusement:

"You're still small?"

"You've grown to look like a small leopard, and you're still small?"

Big Black Cat licked its paw:

"Human, I'm only two years old, I am a kitten..."

After chatting with Big Black Cat for a while, Yang Dian tapped his wristband again:

"Zero, what is the credibility of the information contained in the Niu Ru Ren's dialogue?"

"Fifty percent."

Yang Dian was somewhat surprised:

"That high?"

Zero gave its reasoning:

"Before encountering the Niu Ru Ren civilization, the Universe, in essence, only contained one type of civilization."

"Aggressor civilizations."

"For example, the Great Yu Immortal Dynasty, the Dragon Clan of Emerald Dragon Star, the almost extinct ghosts and gods, and us, can all be considered aggressor civilizations."

"Invading other worlds to strengthen themselves."

"After the Niu Ru Ren appeared, if their actions and language are consistent, then there is one more type of civilization."

"Communicator civilizations."

"They are more inclined to communicate with the outside world, achieving win-win situations and growing together through communication."

"Given Niu Ru Ren technology, the possibility of them sensing our presence and putting on a show for us is approximately 0."

"I lean towards their words and actions being their true thoughts, but because we have never encountered a communicator civilization before, I set the credibility of their words and actions at fifty percent."

Yang Dian pondered for a moment, then chuckled somewhat self-deprecatingly.

"Having played too many mind games, and having seen too much human wickedness and hypocrisy."

"I no longer believe in true goodness and beauty in this world~"

After laughing, Yang Dian speculated again:

"Zero, do you think there might be a powerful observer civilization in the Universe, one that doesn't participate in any Universe activities, but merely observes everything in the dark, absorbing the fruits of wisdom from other civilizations to strengthen itself?"

Zero's voice was unchanging:

"If the scale of the Universe is extended to infinity, then I believe such a civilization definitely exists."

"Definitely exists?" Yang Dian muttered, then took another step forward, formally entering the spaceship's main control room.

He had carefully inspected the spaceship.

There was nothing inside that could pose a threat to him.

Therefore, he was invincible.

Everything else was irrelevant.
