220: Action, Thought

He Ju and Wang Quan were discussing matters regarding the ruins on the deck.

Yang Dian, who had already flown far away, pulled out his phone and dialed Han Zhang’s number.

He first spoke about the dimensional rifts, planetary remnants, and fragments, then changed his tone and said:

“Oh, Chief Han, I wonder what you think of the various financial groups, clans, and academic factions within our borders?”

Upon hearing Yang Dian suddenly bring this up, Han Zhang couldn't help but frown, then continued:

“Financial groups, academic factions, and clans will never disappear, but all are controllable.”

“As long as they don't violate the law, they can exist normally. We even encourage friends and family to help each other and build a harmonious society.”

“But if the three violate the law or do things that go against secular moral concepts, we will not hesitate to step in and rectify them.”

“Fairness is our governing priority going forward.”

Speaking of this, Han Zhang changed his tone again and said:

“Actually, we have already started rectifying financial groups and academic factions.”

“You should know about the medical doctorate 4+4 incident that's been widely discussed online, right?”

Yang Dian nodded:

“Although I haven't had time to browse the news, I know a little.”

“Then think about it, why were the letters of denunciation to the Discipline Inspection Commission exposed? Why was it precisely in the field of medicine, which concerns everyone's life and health and can arouse nationwide discussion? And why did the incident suddenly explode during this period when everyone had free time?”

A sudden realization dawned on Yang Dian:

“Chief Han, you mean, behind this, there are you all...”

Yang Dian was interrupted by Han Zhang before he could finish:

“All in all, this is just the beginning.”

“We will follow this medical line and dig down, unearthing as many woodworms as possible.”

“Now, with the Qi Revival, dimensional overlap, great changes in the world, and nationwide martial arts practice...”

“We cannot allow these woodworms to continue to run rampant.”

“If they stay within the rules and act properly, that's fine.”

“Once they dare to extend their hands beyond the rules, what awaits them can only be our thunderous strike.”

Yang Dian pondered for a moment, then continued:

“Since the organization already has a decision on such matters, I won't say much more.”

“However, regarding certain things, such as school bullying, I have some thoughts.”

Han Zhang tapped the table twice on the other end of the phone:

“Speak.”

Yang Dian carefully considered his words before saying:

“Given the current monitoring capabilities of the Skynet over schools and society, it shouldn't be difficult to find those bullies, right?”

At this point, Yang Dian didn't wait for Han Zhang to speak and directly said:

“Nine-year compulsory education makes it difficult for schools to expel those bullies; they can only educate them.”

“But the shadow of bullying experienced in youth is a nightmare that many people cannot shake off even after growing up.”

“Therefore, for the physical and mental health of the majority of students, I suggest establishing a special school in the provincial capital of each province.”

“All bullies from schools within the province should be sent to this special school for education.”

“If one bad apple spoils the barrel, then we will pick out the bad apples and put them together, so they don't harm others.”

“And also return a beautiful campus to the children.”

“Oh, and those inactive teachers, especially those brainwashed by Western culture, I think it's time to deal with them, to dismiss them.”

“Lest they convey bad ideas to the next generation.”

After Yang Dian finished speaking, Han Zhang on the other end also nodded.

To be honest, he had never really paid attention to things like school bullying before.

He mostly focused on macro-control within the country, the situations of various countries abroad, and so on.

But now that Yang Dian had brought it up, and the idea was indeed insightful, he was naturally happy to do Yang Dian a favor:

“You have a deep understanding of the current educational environment, and it is very suitable for our country's national conditions.”

“I will discuss related matters with others as soon as possible and arrange the plan. The Ministry of Education will issue a corresponding announcement within three days, and within a week, we will begin to arrange related procedures for the transfer of bullies...”

After receiving Han Zhang's affirmative reply, Yang Dian chatted with Han Zhang about faith becoming god and about reshaping Western beliefs.

After their opinions were sufficiently exchanged, Yang Dian hung up the phone and tossed it.

“When the higher-ups really take action, they're truly not slow...”

After a sigh, Yang Dian tossed a rare treasure, a mutated pink daisy, into his mouth and flew towards home.

Most of the external matters had been handled, and there were still seven days until the underwater volcanic eruption.

Since the last time Lei Ming called him and asked him to catch mutated earthworm-like creatures, Yang Dian hadn't returned home.

So he planned to go home first to see how his Silly Younger Sister was doing.

“Speaking of which, since Little Black Cat rejected my Silly Younger Sister’s contract, what will she contract?”

“Big Old Black? Little Orca? Big Yellow Dog and Little Yellow Dog? ...”

“But that girl has been lively since childhood; maybe on a whim, she'll contract the Nine-Colored Plum...”

Thinking of this, Yang Dian's flying speed increased by another two points... A few minutes later, the coastline was visible in the distance.

Seeing his own yard from high in the sky, Yang Dian slowly decreased his speed and finally landed in the yard.

Little Black Cat, seeing Yang Dian land, pawed at his pant leg and quickly climbed onto his shoulder.

“Human, have you returned from hunting?”

Reaching up to pick Little Black Cat off his shoulder, Yang Dian took a dried fish from his wristband and placed it next to Little Black Cat:

“Here, eat.”

“Human, you are so good.”

Little Black Cat complimented Yang Dian, then “Meow, meow~” happily munched on the dried fish in his arms.

Yang Dian stroked its head a couple of times, then stroked the rapidly wagging tails of Big Yellow Dog and Little Yellow Dog’s heads, and then took out two larger dried fish and placed them in their food bowls.

Seeing the two dogs eating happily, he picked up a dried fish and waved it at Big Old Black nearby:

“Chicken Bro, want some?”

Big Old Black gave him a sidelong glance and turned to leave.

“Looks like you don't like it.”

“Next time I'll bring you some centipedes and grasshoppers...”

He didn't care if Big Old Black liked it or not. He hugged its chicken neck, mumbled a few words, then let it go and walked towards the house.

As soon as he opened the door, he saw a large black shadow wearing a white apron and holding a feather duster, busily working in the living room.

The black shadow immediately stopped its movements upon hearing the door open. Seeing Yang Dian, it raised its hand and gave him a perfectly standard salute:

“Hello, Director Yang, I am China's City-Guard level war robot, serial number 9530. According to superior instructions, I am responsible for protecting your family and surrounding residents.”

Although he knew that 9530 did not possess self-awareness like Brother Dao, Yang Dian still returned a salute:

“Hello, 9530.”

“Thank you for guarding my family.”

“Also, do you know where my younger sister and my parents are?”

9530's electronic eye blinked:

“Mr. Yang Yong and Ms. He Mei are currently practicing martial arts by the sea.”

“Student Yang Lele is in your room.”

Yang Dian frowned.

“What is my Silly Younger Sister doing in my room?”
