875: The ocean of the people
In the center of the Rainbow Sea, within a palace built entirely of light purple crystal, seven figures sat around a table.
Perhaps finding the atmosphere too stifling, a figure that floated like a red mist spoke first:
"What are your thoughts on that new race that appeared in the southwest corner of the Huanhai Star Domain?"
As soon as the words were spoken, a burly man with ox horns on his head took up the conversation:
"According to the information I have gathered, the people on that planet call themselves the Huaxia Human Race. Apart from ancient legends, they have about five thousand years of recorded civilization."
"For those five thousand years, this civilization has mostly been in a state of war."
"They are either fighting amongst themselves internally or are engaged in wars with outsiders."
"By the way, they recently cleared all non-'Huaxia' races from Earth, their home planet."
"I have reason to believe that, based on their tradition of 'those who are not of my race must have a different heart,' those humans who lived on the same planet but were not of their race have already been purged by them."
"They are extremely xenophobic and can be called chaotic evil."
"I suggest that all races unite to annihilate them, or at the very least, drive them out of this expanse of stars."
As soon as the burly man finished speaking, a bird about three meters long from head to tail, with light cyan feathers and resembling a Qingluan, spread its magnificent wings and called out in a clear voice:
"They are not extremely xenophobic."
"Since the Qi Revival on Earth, they have come into contact with quite a few civilizations."
"There is the Niu Ru Ren civilization, whose strength is low; the destructive power of their entire civilization's technology is equivalent to Tier 3."
"Huaxia could have clearly invaded and ruled over the Niu Ru Ren, but they did not do so."
"They chose to establish equal diplomatic relations with the Niu Ru Ren, and even taught them their extraordinary powers for free and helped the Niu Ru Ren advance their technology."
"Besides that, there is a humanoid race, the Four-Armed Lizardmen, who were once enslaved by Lizardmen nobles with six or eight arms."
"After Earth collided with the planet where the Lizardmen race resided, the Huaxia people liberated them from their state of slavery and gave them full respect."
"Now, the Four-Armed Lizardmen race fights for Huaxia of their own volition."
"There is also the Beast-Eared race, who were also rescued by them from the hands of ghosts."
"Another planet called Tiannan Star has a situation not much different from that of the Four-Armed Lizardmen and the Beast-Eared race."
"Therefore, I feel that the Huaxia people are not warlike; they can even be called lawful good."
"I feel..."
Before the bird resembling a Qingluan could finish speaking, a figure with an octopus head extended a tentacle and interrupted her:
"The reason the so-called Lizardmen, Beast-Eared people, and Niu Ru Ren were able to survive in Huaxia's hands is threefold."
"First, they have no enmity with Huaxia."
"Second, they are weak and pose no threat to Huaxia."
"Third, they are willing to abide by the rules set by Huaxia."
As he spoke, he looked around at the people in the hall again:
"Huaxia has an old saying: 'How can one allow others to snore beside one's own bed?'"
"Do you all think they will allow us, who can pose a threat to them, to live in this expanse of stars?"
"Or are you willing to abide by their rules?"
When the octopus man finished speaking, a "clang" sound suddenly rang out in the hall.
Sitting at the head of the table, Shan Wen of the Spirit Race, who was born from ancient armor gaining sentience, drew the long blade at his waist, and a terrifying aura of slaughter echoed throughout the palace.
"According to the covenant, I have sheathed my blade for a long time."
"The fact that I have not invaded or slaughtered other races is already following the constraints of the covenant."
"You have no reason to stop me from raising my blade against invaders."
The blue bird shook its feathers, wanting to say something, but the burly man with ox horns stood up before it could:
"The clan just sent news."
Facing the curious gazes of the others, his eyes turned from confused to amused:
"After the Huaxia Human Race cleared the vanguard army sent by the Spirit Race to test them, they were the first to launch an invasion against us."
He raised a finger and said seriously:
"They opened spatial passages to all life planets and dead stars at the same time."
"Everyone, our home planets have already welcomed the flames of war."
Red firelight lit up inside the helmet of Shan Wen, who was sitting at the head of the table, but before he could get angry, a slightly old voice sounded in the palace again:
"Since the Huaxia Human Race dares to declare war on all civilizations in our Huanhai Star Domain at the same time, they must have their own confidence."
"Do not let anger affect our judgment."
"We should mobilize those weak races, let them launch an attack on the Huaxia people's home planet, Earth, and test their confidence..."
Just as the few supreme powerhouses of the Huanhai Star Domain were discussing how to deal with Huaxia, Lao Bai, having thoroughly sorted through the information on the various races of the Huanhai Star Domain, also looked at Han Zhang, Yue Shan, and the others beside him:
"We still have too few people, and the Machina are not enough to rule the entire Huanhai Star Domain."
Han Zhang raised an eyebrow:
"Doctor, what do you mean?"
"The lives of ordinary people in the Huanhai Star Domain are actually not very good." Lao Bai reached out and pointed forward, and countless rays of light converged into various images.
Nobles lived in luxury in extravagant palaces and fairylands, while the poor huddled by foul-smelling sewers, starving.
Those in power were high and mighty, while ordinary people were as humble as ants, even becoming biological spare parts for the powerful to extend their lives.
Even if a poor person was lucky enough to possess supreme Aptitude, they would have their bones dug out and blood drained to become resources for the powerful to improve themselves.
"Every civilization in the Huanhai Star Domain has a class system, and the level of darkness within them far exceeds our imagination."
"Mass-producing babies born at specific times to refine into Demonic Weapons, blocking the upward mobility of ordinary people to maintain power forever, killing everyone with Cultivation Aptitude so their status remains unchallenged..."
Hearing every word that came out of Dr. Bai's mouth and watching the tragic and horrifying images on the screen, Han Zhang nodded seriously:
"This expanse of stars needs to have flames ignited to burn away its sins."
"Then what are we waiting for?" Yue Shan reached out and tapped the inside of his wrist, and biological battle armor climbed onto his body:
"It's time to let those guys witness the ocean of the people..."
