665: Dimension channel, little girl

The target's location was too far from Yang Dian's current position.

It was out of sight, and his Mental Energy perception couldn't reach that far either.

But it wasn't a big problem.

Since he had a target, he just needed to fly there.

He didn't let the Dimension Butterfly tear space.

After all, Tiannan Star was a bit strange.

There were activated Corpse Cities that could absorb energy and multiply.

There was the Nine Silkworms, which had fallen from the dimensional rift and could be considered a rule-based creature.

And beneath the highest peak, there was a spatial channel leading to the dimensional rift.

Although the people of Tiannan Star were ordinary in strength, Huaxia could easily crush them even without Yang Dian's direct intervention.

But there were indeed many strange things on the planet.

Yang Dian also wanted to see if he could encounter other strange things along the way.

Unfortunately, facts proved that strange things were not so easy to encounter.

He kept his mental perception at its maximum throughout the journey, and besides encountering some mutated zombies, creatures, or a few activated Corpse Cities along the way, Yang Dian didn't encounter any other bizarre or grotesque things.

"Indeed, those chaotic things aren't that easy to come across."

Amidst his thoughts, Yang Dian, standing on the hundred-meter city wall, gazed towards an old, somewhat dilapidated residential area inside the city, where the outer walls appeared mottled.

If he hadn't sensed it wrong, the thing that gave him that special feeling originated from a residential building on the edge of the complex.

He looked around the small city, which, when translated, was called Qiushui City.

Watching the mechs rising and falling in the small city, performing daily tasks such as fighting crime, helping elderly women cross the road, and assisting lost children in returning home, Yang Dian couldn't help but reveal a slight smile.

Different people had different ideas about conquering Alien Planets and expanding the scope of dimensional folding.

What everyone firmly believed was that as long as the Star Core was shattered, an entire Alien Planet would be completely devoured and become a Huaxia Blessed Land.

Beyond that, some believed that burning, killing, and plundering on the Alien Planet, instilling fear in the Alien Planet's inhabitants, could rapidly expand the dimensional folding area.

Others believed that liberating the common people of the Alien Planet and making them yearn for Huaxia could accelerate the expansion of the dimensional folding area.

Clearly, the people here in Qiushui City subscribed to the latter idea.

In any case, regardless of their ideas, even knowing that Yang Dian had a very high chance of finding the Star Core and shattering it.

Everyone was still doing their part, working towards the expansion of the dimensional folding area.

This was very good.

"What if I become very, very strong in the future, and a single seclusion lasts for decades or even a century? Others should also be able to successfully conquer the Alien Planet, right?"

With this thought, Yang Dian didn't disturb the mechs flying around the city and followed his perception to the outside of that residential building.

Through the glass window, he could see that inside was the bedroom of a little girl, or a young girl.

The bedroom was entirely pink, and the bed, shelves, and even the floor were piled high with dolls of various sizes.

The location that gave Yang Dian a sense of something was within a pile of dolls.

"A Dimension Channel?"

After getting closer and sensing the faint aura emanating from the pile of dolls, Yang Dian couldn't tell if he was disappointed or happy.

Star Cores were common, but rule-based life was not.

He expected to find the Star Core Space, shatter the Star Core, and plunder energy.

But he also wanted to find the remaining few silkworms among the rule-based Nine Silkworms.

"Never mind."

"As long as Tiannan Star is transformed into a Blessed Land, the remaining eight rule-based silkworms are destined to be Huaxia's possession."

As for who would be lucky enough to have a silkworm recognize them as its master?

Yang Dian didn't care.

As long as the meat was in the pot, it didn't matter who ate it.

With this thought, Yang Dian took a step forward, 'squeezing' through the wall and entering the room.

Then, the door opened with a creak.

After a wide-eyed stare-down with two little radish heads with pigtails outside the door, the slightly taller radish head, closer to the door, suddenly spoke:

"I've seen you."

"You're the Commander of the Huaxia Expeditionary Force, right?"

Caught red-handed sneaking into someone else's room, Yang Dian, feeling a bit awkward under the little radish head's gaze, raised an eyebrow:

"Yes, I am the Commander of the Huaxia Expeditionary Force." Yang Dian bent down and walked in front of the little radish head:

"Where did you see me?"

"On Mommy's phone." The little radish head glanced back at the living room:

"Mommy's been glued to her phone these past few days, she hasn't even gone to work."

"Sometimes she even talks to herself, saying things like, 'If it's really like what those Huaxia people say, it would be great if there was no distinction between rich and poor after Tiannan Star is liberated.'"

"I asked Mommy what she meant, and Mommy said I was too young and didn't understand anything."

"But she doesn't know, I actually understand everything."

"My little sister is the one who's small, she doesn't understand anything."

"I only asked her because I was afraid she'd be bored alone, so I deliberately talked to her, so she wouldn't keep everything bottled up inside, which isn't good for her health."

While marveling at how articulate the two or three-year-old girl in front of him was, Yang Dian also looked at the little girl she was holding.

Just as she said, her sister seemed a bit silly.

Her eyes looked blank, and there was no light in them.

'They seem to be twins, did the older one eat the younger one's brain during pregnancy?'

Yang Dian teased in his mind, but the little girl seemed to have overheard Yang Dian's inappropriate thoughts:

"Are you secretly thinking something bad?"

Faced with the little girl's suspicious gaze, Yang Dian firmly denied:

"How could that be? How could I be thinking something bad?"

The little girl was mischievous:

"You can't fool me, I've known since I was little if someone was lying to me, I'm telling you, I..."

Before she could finish her sentence, a voice came from the kitchen next to the living room:

"Song Jiajia! What are you doing?"

"Why haven't you taken your sister to the room for her nap yet?"

"What are you mumbling about standing at the door?"

The little girl blinked, looked at Yang Dian in front of her who had a finger to his lips, signaling not to expose him, tilted her head, thought for a moment, and then shouted towards the kitchen:

"I know, Mommy, I'm taking my sister for her nap now."

Saying this, she led the somewhat dazed little girl into the room and closed the door with a "bang."

Then she turned around and looked at Yang Dian with a pair of large eyes that seemed to speak.

Yang Dian, who would even dare to scheme against the Stellar Ancestor if necessary, couldn't quite handle the little girl's sparkling big eyes.

He reached out and playfully tapped her nose before speaking first:

"I admit, I entered your room without your permission, which was indeed wrong."

"Also, I was indeed secretly making fun of you in my mind just now."

"Here, I express my sincere apologies to you."

The little girl's eyes darted around twice:

"Then how will you express your apology?"

Yang Dian understood her implied meaning, and although he was surprised at how clever little girls were these days, he still followed up on her words:

"How do you want me to express my apology?"
