737: Just a messenger?

The troubles Lu Shaoqiu encountered were not isolated.

Students of the Wisdom Network were asked how to optimize the wisdom brain System to allow the wisdom brain to exert more power in Universe battles.

Students of design majors were asked to design various new types of warships and explain the functions and uses of each warship.

Logistics students were asked to calculate how much energy the war consumed and whether there were any areas where energy could be saved.

Some command academies, halfway through the war, closed students' live broadcast permissions, asking students to deduce the future direction of the war based on the current war situation.

In short, the Expeditionary Force on the battlefield was earning merits, martial arts students in the martial arts academy were training their muscles, and students of various specialized courses began to receive various homework assignments halfway through the war.

Everyone was working hard.

Everyone had a bright future... Two days passed in a flash.

China's current scientific and technological strength was already formidable.

Even without Yang Dian's participation, the Expeditionary Force itself still gained an absolute advantage after two days.

The Guang Yao Civilization's flagship was obliterated by a fully charged Planet Destroyer Cannon.

Before the flagship was shattered, Yang Dian took action first, directly 'rescuing' the Guang Yao People inside the flagship.

He still had many questions he wanted to ask these Guang Yao People, and it would be a pity if they died directly.

The space war ended, and the ground war naturally sped up.

The Guang Yao People were quite ruthless.

Knowing their defeat, the remaining Guang Yao People not only ordered the last remaining Machina to launch suicide attacks, but also tried to infiltrate deep underground on the Niuru people's planet to detonate super-energy explosives.

Even if they couldn't destroy the planet, they wanted to cause widespread natural disasters.

Unfortunately, before they could implement their plan, they were captured by an impatient Yang Dian.

He didn't refine them.

He merely imprinted them with weakening runes, turning them into prisoners.

Keli City, the capital of the Niuru people.

Li Gui and others were invited by the Niuru people to participate in the Niuru people's planetary war victory celebration.

Yang Dian, meanwhile, arrived at the interrogation room of the fleet's flagship, preparing to interrogate Jones, the captured Guang Yao fleet governor, and his deputy, Weber.

Sitting in the interrogation room, while the two Guang Yao People had not yet arrived, Yang Dian stroked the Little Black Cat and asked:

"What method do you think we should use to interrogate the Guang Yao People to get the information we want from them?"

The Little Black Cat, purring comfortably, opened its innocent eyes:

"Human, are you asking a cat?"

"Human, the cat doesn't know?"

As Yang Dian smiled, Ya Zi's voice sounded in the interrogation room:

"As the leaders of the Expeditionary Force, Jones and Weber have unwavering faith in the Guang Yao Civilization."

"After being captured alive, they tried to commit suicide more than once."

"It will be very difficult to obtain information from them by threatening their personal safety or through torture."

"Perhaps we can threaten Jones and Weber through their Civilization itself."

Yang Dian nodded thoughtfully, "Bring them in."

As his voice fell, a seamlessly closed steel wall suddenly split in the middle, revealing Jones, who looked as if he was carved from diamonds, and Weber, who resembled a golden man, behind it.

The two, escorted into the interrogation room by Machina, saw Yang Dian and their pupils simultaneously contracted.

So Yang Dian took the initiative:

"Seeing me, you seem very surprised?"

Thinking of the Guang Yao Civilization's Cultivate method, Yang Dian gestured for the two to sit down, then subconsciously tapped the table twice:

"That's right."

"After all, before you turned into this monstrous appearance, you looked pretty much like us."

"At most, you just had a few extra auxiliary ears."

Before Cultivating, the Guang Yao People looked very similar to Earth humans.

Their height ranged from 1.7 to 2.2 meters, all were humanoid with one head, two arms, and two legs. In terms of facial features, apart from having two extra pointed ears on each side behind their main ears, meaning they were born with six ears, they were really no different from Earth humans.

Hearing Yang Dian's somewhat amiable words, Jones and Weber exchanged glances, then Jones spoke:

"When I saw the humanoid Machina, I thought they were specially made by you to gain our favor."

"I didn't expect that you also possess a human form."

Yang Dian shook his finger:

"We are not humanoid."

"The Huaxia People, that is the Human Race itself."

Jones was stunned by Yang Dian's incredibly confident words.

Then he gave a bitter smile:

"Perhaps to become a powerful Civilization, one must possess such strong confidence as yours."

Hearing the honorifics in his words, Yang Dian raised an eyebrow.

'Is he trying to be a wise man?'

As the thought crossed his mind, he heard Jones continue:

"However, although we are both humanoid beings, I still cannot betray my Civilization and surrender to you."

Sitting beside Jones, Weber, who likewise did not know his place, straightened up:

"Me too."

Their loyalty to their Civilization was commendable, but that didn't mean Yang Dian had no way of getting information from them:

"It's better not to speak too absolutely."

Saying this, he casually drew a circle, with two points, one blue and one red, inside it.

"You can use the Niuru people's friendliness to continuously collect the signal waves emitted by the Niuru people, obtain their coordinates, and invade the Niuru people's planet."

"Conversely, we can naturally invade you in the same way."

"If our calculations are correct, your planet should be located here, 35 light-years away from the Niuru people's planet, right?"

"What if our fleet arrives here?"

Seeing the location Yang Dian pointed to, the expressions on their faces didn't change, but their Mental Energy trembled slightly.

"After I pointed out your planet's location, your emotions changed somewhat, but not significantly."

"So..."

"This is a frontier planet you control, a planet you use for communication with alien Civilizations, and not your home planet?"

Their reaction confirmed Yang Dian's guess, which made him a little troubled.

"The data stored on a frontier planet shouldn't be too much."

"I suppose even if I take it down, I won't gain much, right?"

Using Civilization as bait always yields quite a bit.

Their intense Mental Energy fluctuations indicated that Yang Dian's guess was correct.

"So the question is, how often does your home planet contact the frontier outpost?"

"Three years, right?"

Suddenly realizing that Yang Dian could perceive their thoughts, the two began to seal off their five senses and six consciousnesses, attempting to block Yang Dian's words and their own emotions.

Standing before a powerhouse like Yang Dian, they felt as if they had been stripped naked, completely exposed under his gaze.

Yang Dian didn't even need them to answer; he only needed to ask the questions to get the answers he wanted from their reactions.

'Besides the Envoy, why would such a terrifying existence also exist?'

Yang Dian, catching their mental thoughts, was startled and suddenly thought of something:

"Envoy of Light?"

"Envoy?"

Casually taking out the condensed light left behind after the Guang Yao's death, Yang Dian stared intently at Jones and Weber:

"It's just an Envoy?"

"Is there an even more powerful Civilization behind it?"

Jones and Weber suddenly stood up:

"Envoy?"
