656: Wizard

“This strength…”

Yang Dian reached out and clenched his fist, gazing at the energy ripples that had finally stopped churning in the distance. A ripple formed in his heart.

“It seems I can fight the Great Star God now.”

Because he had never unleashed his full power before, Yang Dian didn’t know how strong he truly was.

Only after going all out did he realize just how powerful he had become.

“What will Lao Bai use to catch up to me?”

After a jibe at Lao Bai, Yang Dian thought of the scene where the Cloud Whale, after Fusion with the Wormhole Tadpoles, dragged the Great Star God to the Lingwen Clan’s star system.

Recalling that scene, his slightly inflated ego deflated a little.

Having an energy impact range as large as the Great Star God was one thing; having the strength to overpower the Great Star God was another.

Moreover, though he could now casually shatter a star, if he thought about it carefully, the essence of combat was not much different from when he was weaker.

It was like the Jianghu.

In the Jianghu, it wasn’t about who had the most strength or the highest Realm that survived to the end.

In the Jianghu, there were countless examples of famous masters being drugged by waiters in taverns and tea houses.

Expand the Jianghu, and it becomes the interstellar space, the Universe.

In the Universe, who knew what Divine-Grade technology or bizarre items an opponent might pull out during a fight?

So, when out and about, the necessary caution and prudence must not be neglected.

No matter what kind of enemy he encountered, if it was time to go all out, he would go all out.

With this thought, Yang Dian slowly took a breath, suppressing the urge to throw another punch, or even to recklessly exhaust all the Qi and blood energy in his body to unleash something massive.

Restoring Qi and blood also required energy.

No rush, he would just absorb Spiritual Qi and eat some Star-Patrolling Realm and Star Dome Realm beast meat to slowly recover.

In a rush?

Then he would have to consume heaven and earth treasures, Star Core Origins, or simply expend the energy stored in the dwelling place of his Soul to restore his Qi and blood.

Quantifying the energy:

If all the Qi and blood in his body were exhausted, it would take millions of units of energy to restore him to his peak state.

And millions of units of energy could create quite a few cannon fodder at the Star-Patrolling Realm level.

“I still need to improve my physical strength.”

“If my physical strength meets the standard, I can perform nuclear Fusion within my body.”

“When I reach the point where I can grow stronger just by drinking water, that’s when I will truly be on the path of the strong.”

Just as Yang Dian was pondering how to embark on the path of human nuclear Fusion, Yun Shengxue, who had been pushed far away by the Martial Dao True Body, arrived by Yang Dian’s side, stopping every few steps.

“Senior, Senior.”

“Are you an immortal?”

Hearing Yun Shengxue’s question, Yang Dian couldn’t help but smile.

“What is an immortal?”

Yun Shengxue blinked, then immediately repeated Yang Dian’s description of an immortal:

“Leaping beyond the Three Realms, not within the Five Elements.”

“Enduring three calamities without perishing, passing through myriad tribulations without being extinguished?”

“Exactly.” Yang Dian nodded:

“If an immortal is merely someone whose strength reaches the star-shattering level, then immortality is too cheap.”

“A true immortal should be an existence that remains unextinguished even when heaven and earth perish, and unfallen even when the sun and moon fall—an immortal, unconstrained existence.”

Yun Shengxue nodded in agreement.

Although since birth, she had accepted the notion that any existence capable of shattering a star was an immortal, regardless of whether their Realm had reached it.

But now that a true immortal Realm expert was re-explaining the meaning of an immortal to her, of course, she would listen to the expert.

Yang Dian, seeing Yun Shengxue nod so earnestly and genuinely believing his words, couldn’t help but be amused.

She believed him so readily; it felt a bit like she was easily fooled.

With a slight shift in his thoughts, Yang Dian continued:

“However, there was one thing you said earlier that was correct.”

“I did just enter this Guixu.”

“You’ve probably been in Guixu for quite some time. Tell me about Guixu, and also explain why you knew this place would have new planetary debris falling, and what the myriad spirits stone is all about.”

“Oh, also, tell me about the distribution of forces and information on powerful individuals within Guixu.”

“And why is it normal for civilizations like ours, which haven’t experienced many Realm Wars, not to know about the situation within Guixu?”

Yun Shengxue lowered her head and thought for a while before speaking:

“Guixu, the land where worlds end.”

“Planets that are defeated in Realm Wars, if any remnants remain, mostly fall into Guixu.”

“As the saying goes, ‘The ducks are the first to know when the river warms in spring.’ ”

“Although I don’t know what a spring river is, nor what a duck is, I always feel this analogy is correct.”

“Before planetary debris falls, special changes will appear within Guixu.”

“Like here.”

Yun Shengxue gestured around the space Yang Dian had opened up:

“This space can be called the ‘Nascent Guixu’.”

“Nothing can be seen within the space itself.”

“But if you go outside this space, you will find that this space emits an aura completely different from Guixu, making it clear at a glance that there is an anomaly in this area.”

“It’s like a drop of ink falling into clear water—obvious at a glance, visible to anyone who passes by.”

“However, entering such a nascent space, especially one with abundant ‘ink charm,’ will invite misfortune, so generally no one actively breaks through the space to enter it.”

“Once the civilization within the nascent space breaks through the barrier, the ‘ink charm’ will disappear, and the planetary debris will completely merge into Guixu.”

“When it possesses ‘ink charm,’ the planetary debris still carries some aura of the current world. This is the easiest time for it to be captured by a planet, leaving Guixu as a ‘ruin’ and returning to the current world.”

“After losing the ‘ink charm,’ unless it encounters a planet with a powerful foundation that has experienced Qi Revival for more than 100,000 years, and also requires various coincidences and Opportunities, it is almost impossible to leave Guixu and return to the current world.”

“Civilizations that haven’t broken through the barrier don’t know the true situation of Guixu.”

“Civilizations that have broken through the barrier have already completely merged into Guixu, and their planetary debris is almost impossible to be captured by a planet that has experienced Qi Revival for less than 100,000 years.”

“Therefore, I speculate that the world you come from has not experienced many Realm Wars.”

As she spoke, her gaze towards Yang Dian once again held reverence:

“For you to grow into an immortal Realm existence without your world having experienced many Realm Wars, your talent must be incredibly terrifying.”

“Theoretically, you could lead your civilization to stand above the Sea of the Universe.”

“I wonder what kind of enemy you encountered that caused your world to face the danger of annihilation.”

“Did you enter Guixu early to open up a space for your people to recuperate?”

“Our Lingyuan Realm has been in Guixu for over 300,000 years. While we don’t know everything about this Guixu, we do understand some of the secrets of this world.”

“I wonder if your other people need a guide to introduce them to Guixu.”

“Although our Realm has never produced an immortal Realm expert, our Realm’s Prodigies are not lacking in talent, nor are they weaker than those of ordinary civilizations with immortal Realm existences.”

“When your people first enter Guixu, I believe our Realm’s Prodigies can serve as good guides for them…”
