309: Test Orcs, Earth Online Project, Technological Ascension

Yang Dian sighed with some regret.

Dropping nuclear warheads is truly addictive.

After all, it's simply too effective.

Now, whenever he sees something that displeases him, he subconsciously gets the urge to drop a couple of nuclear warheads on it.

However, since Han Zhang had mentioned the hidden dangers, Yang Dian didn't press the issue.

So he brought up his previous question again:

"So, should I just clap my hand over there and directly kill them all?"

Han Zhang pondered for a moment before saying:

"Are you sure you can kill them all with one clap?"

Yang Dian nodded:

"Based on the strength they've displayed, I can kill them all with one clap."

"Since you can kill them all with one clap, then don't," Han Zhang stated the reason:

"We still have use for the Orcs, the America consortiums, and the City-Level."

Seeing Yang Dian's curious look, he explained earnestly:

"Firstly, we also need to communicate with the Orcs to obtain information about the interior of the Dimensional Rift from them."

"Secondly, we need to observe how the Orcs behave after entering Earth."

"For example, whether they will be disliked by Earth's Will after killing too many lives."

"And also whether they can normally improve their strength."

"If, like us entering an Alien Planet, they attract the dislike of Earth's Will once they kill too many Earth creatures, then we'll have to find a way to help them resolve that dislike, help them integrate into Earth, and become a part of Earth."

Yang Dian suddenly understood.

The Think Tank was considering future contingencies.

No one could guarantee that they would always win in the Dimensional War.

What if Earth was targeted by other dimensional worlds in the future, and lost, and the planet was to be divided, with only remnants falling into the Dimensional Rift? What then?

So the Think Tank, presumably, had already begun to prepare for the worst, pondering how China would survive after a defeat and fall into the Dimensional Rift, how to continue developing within the Dimensional Rift, and how to break out of the Dimensional Rift to counterattack the real Universe.

After understanding the Think Tank's thoughts, Yang Dian nodded to Han Zhang on the other side of the screen:

"Alright, you guys can think about these intricate matters."

"If you need me to act, just let me know."

After chatting a few more sentences with Han Zhang, Yang Dian was about to hang up when Han Zhang suddenly spoke again:

"What are your thoughts on Dr. Bai's quantum entanglement teleportation technology, neural interface device, and nutrient pod technology?"

Yang Dian looked at Han Zhang with some surprise:

"Isn't this a good thing?"

"The perfection of quantum entanglement teleportation technology means we can communicate regardless of distance."

"For example, the Lizardmen Alien Planet; although we still can't send technological items through the spatial node into the Alien Planet, as long as the Alien Planet replicates this technology, we can communicate with the Alien Planet without barriers, which greatly improves our work efficiency."

"Combined with optimized nutrient pods, neural interface devices, and virtual worlds, warriors can completely accumulate actual combat experience by remotely operating mechs."

"Besides that, I think we can also develop virtual games to throw overseas, and bind the virtual game currency to our Great Summer currency. Virtual currency can not only be spent in the game but also used to purchase various materials produced by our China."

"Including but not limited to food, daily necessities, and technological equipment."

Speaking of this, Yang Dian snapped his fingers again:

"Put all foreigners into the virtual world. When needed, we can even promote Alien Planet wars as games, letting foreigners with strong mech operating abilities control mechs to fight for us."

"Once a planet is completely conquered, we'll relocate them all to the new planet."

"We have already started encouraging childbirth, but the total resources on Earth are limited."

"Under the premise of unrestrained encouragement of childbirth, perhaps in just a few decades, our population could increase several times, reaching tens of billions."

"Earth, including the Alien Planet's resources, is already struggling to support one China; it cannot support more foreign Cultivators."

"So I think, Earth is enough with just us."

Speaking of this, a thought suddenly arose in Yang Dian's mind again:

"Besides that, I don't think those foreign scientists are entirely useless."

"First, attract them into the virtual world, but when they log out of the virtual world, they won't return to reality, but instead log into the Earth Online instance."

"Make them think they've returned to Earth, but in reality, they are still within the game."

"Everything in the instance is a 1:1 replica of Earth. The experiments they conduct and the code they write in Earth Online are replicated 1:1 in real-time by the supercomputer."

Speaking of this, Yang Dian stroked his chin again:

"It just seems a bit inhumane to do it this way."

Han Zhang smiled:

"For most people abroad, just being alive is good enough."

"At least in Earth Online, we can treat them as fairly as possible, ensuring they are rewarded for their labor and efforts."

It was clear that he approved of Yang Dian's approach.

Or rather, they already held the same idea... After discussing some more matters with Han Zhang, Yang Dian finally took out some heaven and earth treasures with life-extending abilities and sent them through the spatial gate to Han Zhang:

"These are heaven and earth treasures with life-extending abilities. Distribute them among the old gentlemen whose time is running out."

Which old gentlemen?

The old gentlemen who contributed to China.

A new era was about to descend; they had contributed their entire lives to China, and they deserved to see the day when every Chinese person was like a Dragon and the red banner ignited the star sea.

Hanging up the phone, Yang Dian stroked the Little Black Cat's head and suddenly thought of more.

"Since Earth can be online, and my strength is about to have a major Breakthrough, shouldn't the God-Making Project also be prepared?"

Strength is confidence.

As his strength grew more powerful, the Divine Dao Inheritance, once regarded by Yang Dian as a monstrous flood, gradually lost its halo.

The Divine Dao was a good thing.

It could allow many people to extend their lives, even achieve immortality.

Previously, Yang Dian hadn't considered the Divine Dao because he feared it would get out of control.

Once he was strong enough, if someone tried to cause trouble with the Divine Dao, he could just press them to death with a finger.

"Researchers don't have a lot of time to Cultivate Martial Arts. Even if the 【shanhe sheji tu】(the map of mountains and rivers) comes out later, with their scarce Cultivation time, they won't be able to achieve immortality through Martial Dao."

"So, the scientific research merit System still needs to be optimized."

"Once merits and scientific research achievements meet the standards, grant them Divine Dao Inheritance."

"Some people deserve to be enshrined in the ancestral temple while they are alive; it would be meaningless to worship them after they die."

"However, supervision of the scientific research System must be strengthened."

"After all, thieves don't just steal money and objects."

He imagined a future where Alien Planet powerhouses might sneak attack China's highest scientific research sanctuary, and after finally breaking through layers of blockade to reach the core, they would see a group of majestic technological gods sitting on their divine thrones on the other shore.

Thinking of that scene, Yang Dian wanted to laugh...
