632: Agatha Christie: God cannot be defined

It doesn’t matter if they don’t understand the situation; Yang Dian’s target wasn’t the Tiannan People or those from France who entered Tiannan Star anyway.

With a thought, he spread his Mental Energy to the spring. After only exploring a few dozen meters down the spring, Yang Dian felt something was off.

“The water temperature drops one degree every 10 meters deeper?”

“Within a 10-meter radius, the water temperature remains constant, neither increasing nor decreasing.”

“There’s definitely a problem, but why isn’t the Tiannan Star United Army exploring this place?”

Thinking of the Corpse City and the golden core in the strange space, which also seemed unexplored, Yang Dian guessed at a possibility.

“They haven’t recorded this information in computers, and they don’t even discuss these things near any electronic devices?”

“What are the United Army high-ups preventing?”

“Machina? Or perhaps an extraterrestrial civilization?”

As Yang Dian was speculating, Agatha and Eva, standing behind Mark Twain, suddenly felt something and looked up in Yang Dian’s direction.

The Blind Nuns’ Cultivation method was peculiar.

They covered their eyes with silk gauze, enhancing their other senses and improving their sixth sense.

Yang Dian openly spread his spiritual fluctuations, and Agatha and Eva naturally detected his presence.

Feeling the second ‘sun’ appearing in the sky, and the familiar aura contained within the ‘sun,’ Agatha subconsciously uttered a word.

“Dieux.”

(French: God, Lord.)

Hearing Agatha suddenly speak, Mark couldn’t help but be stunned.

In his impression, the Blind Nuns were all emotionally detached in life.

They rarely spoke, let alone initiated conversation.

Now, she suddenly spoke up, muttering ‘God,’ almost confusing him.

‘If there were gods in this world, why would they watch us fall into Hell?’

As the thought arose, Mark remembered something else.

Then again, the Blind Nuns’ faith didn’t seem to be in God.

It was… thinking of a certain possibility, Mark subconsciously swallowed, stiffly raising his neck to look in the direction Agatha and Eva were ‘gazing.’

Then, he too saw Yang Dian, hands clasped behind his back, hovering in mid-air.

“How is he here?”

Feeling the fear in Mark’s Mental Energy, Lin Quan instinctively looked up at the sky:

“How did he come to Tianshui City?”

After exclaiming, the two exchanged glances.

There was a sense of shared understanding in their eyes.

‘Did he cause trouble over on your side too?’

‘Is he also a supreme existence over on your side?’

After exchanging glances, Lin Quan’s heart filled with joy:

“Guest from Earth, you know, or at least know about him, right?”

“Could you tell me about his deeds?”

“Because we’ve experienced the zombie disaster, we Tiannan People respect the strong the most.”

“I want to hear his story.”

Mark opened his mouth at the words, somewhat speechless.

What could he know?

Earth had been hit by the Machina, and communication between nations was almost severed.

Later, if it weren’t for China’s large-scale military training abroad, they would still be hiding in bunkers.

Of course, they might also have been dug out by O3 and dried into human jerky.

He only knew that the man in the sky was named Yang Dian.

His strength was very powerful.

Unbelievably powerful.

As for specific deeds?

Thinking, Mark turned to Agatha:

“Agatha, your Blind Nuns revere him as a new god, so you must know a lot about him, right?”

“I remember when he came to Paris, he even had contact with you?”

Agatha nodded, then shook her head:

“God did descend upon Paris once, but we don’t know much about his Divine Power.”

“We only know that he is the savior of Earth.”

“It is because of his existence that Earth was spared from Machina rule.”

“It is also because of his existence that the World of the Strange, which wanted to invade our world, became Earth’s meal.”

“He gave us enough initiative in foreign wars.”

Hearing the words “foreign wars,” Lin Quan’s body stiffened.

Tiannan Star and Earth, weren’t they currently in a period of foreign war?

“That…”

“If, I mean if.”

“If your side occupied an Alien Planet or an Alien World, what would your side do?”

Mark puffed out his chest, wanting to put on a show.

Although they had never occupied any planet or any land, and had even always surrendered in foreign wars.

But that didn’t mean he wouldn’t fantasize about what he would do after occupying other worlds.

However, before he could speak, Agatha had already spoken first:

“We have never occupied any Alien Planet or Alien World.”

“Other planets merging with Earth is only because of the Lord’s will.”

“Under the Lord’s guidance, worlds returned to Earth’s embrace.”

Up in the sky, Yang Dian, hearing Agatha’s words, twitched his lips.

“Those who do faith are too strange.”

“They just attribute all sorts of nonsense to God, right?”

While complaining inwardly, Yang Dian, whose Divine Thought had just touched something, had a thought and suddenly disappeared from the sky.

On the ground, Mark rubbed his eyes, and after confirming that Yang Dian had indeed vanished from the sky, he couldn’t help but look at the Blind Nuns behind him:

“Agatha, where is your God?”

Agatha, sensing Yang Dian disappear from her range of perception, lowered her head, raised her hands to her chest, clasped the necklace around her neck, and after a moment of low prayer, spoke:

“God is undefinable; he does what he wills.”

“I don’t know where he went either.”

Mark was stunned, “Isn’t what’s undefinable ‘female boxing’?”

As the words fell, facing Agatha’s closed-eyed death stare, he instantly shut up.

He was just a lucky fellow who had undergone a normal Awakening; he was no match for these Blind Nuns.

‘I should still think about how to immigrate to this planet. I hope the method obtained from the planetary wreckage is useful…’

In his thoughts, he looked at Lin Quan again:

“Lin, my dear frie…”

Before he could finish his sentence, something that startled Mark happened.

Lin Quan, who had been incredibly enthusiastic towards him just a few breaths ago, directly bypassed him and, with a hint of fawning, approached Agatha:

“You are a devotee of God, right?”

“I am very curious about God. If possible, I would also like to listen to God’s guidance and become a devotee.”

Agatha looked at Lin Quan with some surprise.

To reiterate, the Blind Nuns’ senses were all keen.

Although Agatha, who wasn’t wearing a translation earpiece, couldn’t understand what Lin Quan was saying, she could feel Lin Quan’s fervent worship of Yang Dian.

He seemed to genuinely want to become a devotee of God.

It was only because Agatha didn’t have a translation earpiece now that Lin Quan couldn’t hear her thoughts.

If he had heard them, he would have had to tell Agatha what Yang Dian and his group did on Tiannan Star.

He was so strong; shouldn’t he quickly find a way to pledge allegiance to him instead of waiting for death?
