727: Guangyao Civilization, Dark Yao Civilization

Aola took Yang Dian's hand, preparing to discuss how to save Niu Ru Ren Planet.

Niu Ru Star, Earth-Moon orbit, Guang Yao People's main ship.

As Yang Dian opened a spatial portal next to the Niu Ru Ren spaceship, Earth's star destroyer fleet warped in, and the Guang Yao People's main ship also blared a piercing alarm.

In the conference room.

Jones, the governor of the Guang Yao Expeditionary Fleet, whose body seemed carved from diamonds, reflecting brilliant light under the lamps, looked at the photos taken by the deep space satellite and said in an uninflected tone:

"The Niu Ru Ren spaceship, which went to an Alien Planet to rescue other civilizations, has returned."

"And it brought a fleet from an unknown civilization."

"A fleet from an unknown civilization that has mastered spatial warp technology."

At this point, the brilliant light reflecting from his body became chaotic:

"What do we do next?"

As he finished speaking, the entire conference room fell silent.

A civilization that has mastered spatial warp technology is on the same level as them.

They hadn't expected the Niu Ru Ren to be able to enlist such help.

After all, the rule of the Universe is that big fish eat small fish, and small fish eat shrimp.

Who can resist a snack that's right at their mouth?

They certainly couldn't resist, which is why they followed the signal to Niu Ru Star, preparing to capture the Niu Ru Ren in one fell swoop.

But they hadn't expected that while the Niu Ru Ren were kind, they also possessed the integrity to sacrifice their lives.

Before they could completely control Niu Ru Ren Planet, the Niu Ru Ren destroyed all information and data, and steadfastly refused to reveal any information.

Even when the Guang Yao People threatened them with death, subjected Niu Ru Ren scientists to extreme torture, or used their families as leverage, they couldn't pry open the mouth of a single Niu Ru Ren scientist.

So, apart from mineral resources, they didn't obtain any useful information.

Thus, instead of suppressing the resistance forces on Niu Ru Ren Star, they allowed the remaining Niu Ru Ren forces to communicate externally.

The purpose was to lure back the Niu Ru Ren warship that had gone to who-knows-where, so they could obtain the Niu Ru Ren's technology, data, and the location of the wormhole.

But now, the situation seemed to be getting out of their control.

Looking at the silent crowd, Jones spoke with some irritation:

"Why does the civilization that needed the Niu Ru Ren to save it possess a super warship capable of interstellar jumping?"

Hearing his captain's slightly irritated question, Vice-Captain Weber, whose body seemed carved from blue crystal, stood up and offered a hypothesis:

"Is there a possibility that the civilization sending out distress signals into the Universe is essentially like us?"

"They themselves are a powerful civilization, sending out distress calls simply to attract kind civilizations like the Niu Ru Ren to their planet?"

"If the newcomers are weak, they devour them."

"If the newcomers are powerful, they feign joining them until they possess enough strength, then turn on them."

"And showing a facade of normal interaction with the Niu Ru Ren is just to obtain the coordinates of Niu Ru Ren Star, and to directly control Niu Ru Ren Planet while the Niu Ru Ren are unprepared, maximizing their gains?"

"Doing so maximizes profit and ensures the Niu Ru Ren don't have time to destroy data and information."

"We should actually learn from them, feign friendship with the Niu Ru Ren, and then deliver a fatal blow when they least expect it."

Jones nodded upon hearing this:

"What you said makes sense."

"But realizing this now is too late."

"The problem now is how we confront this fleet, and the civilization behind the fleet."

Looking at the projected image of 72 main ships, each nearly a hundred kilometers long, and over 70,000 escort ships, Jones couldn't help but tremble slightly:

"What kind of civilization possesses such a powerful fleet..."

"Even across an infinite distance, just looking at them through the projection, I can sense an endless threat from those warships."

"They have the power to annihilate us."

The Guang Yao People in the conference room exchanged glances, then a Guang Yao Person, whose entire body shimmered golden as if carved from gold, spoke:

"Perhaps we can appeal to the President for help, requesting assistance from the Star-Chasing Fleet or the Envoy of Light."

Jones fell silent for a moment:

"The Star-Chasing Fleet and the Envoy of Light are the foundation of our civilization."

"Once they are dispatched, they will definitely be discovered by the An Yao Civilization."

"If they are used, it might attract an attack from the An Yao Civilization."

Weber stood up:

"Perhaps we can unite with the An Yao Civilization."

"Although we and the An Yao Civilization are enemies, we are, after all, in the same Star System."

"Once we are exposed, the An Yao Civilization will also be exposed."

"The exposure of civilization coordinates is also unacceptable to them."

"This will attract the covetous gaze of powerful civilizations in the Universe."

At this point, Weber smiled again:

"In the eyes of those powerful Universe civilizations, the An Yao Civilization might be much more valuable than us."

"If powerful civilizations descend, we might have a chance to surrender, but the An Yao Civilization will surely become slaves, never to rise again."

Jones nodded thoughtfully:

"Your idea might not be bad."

"I will contact the President now and ask him to send an envoy to communicate with the An Yao Civilization."

Having said this, Jones closed his eyes and spread his hands.

A smooth flow of light circulated, and his body directly collapsed into a heart-shaped polyhedron, with ten thousand colorful lights flashing and expanding at its core.

A moment later, the heart-shaped polyhedron, now a bit smaller, transformed back into human form.

Jones, who was now a bit shorter and thinner than before, nodded to the others:

"The President has already received news from Niu Ru Ren Star and has dispatched an envoy to the An Yao Civilization."

"The President stated that even if the An Yao Civilization refuses to cooperate, he will contact the Envoy of Light and request the Envoy of Light to go to Niu Ru Ren Planet to help us fight against the unknown civilization."

"But the President demands that if even the Envoy of Light cannot contend with the unknown civilization, we must take our own lives to ensure the coordinates of our home planet are not leaked."

The people in the conference room exchanged glances, then all stood up, raised their fists, and shouted in unison:

"Everything, for Light."

...Niu Ru Ren conference room.

Through the spatial projection casually drawn by Yang Dian, those indirectly participating in the Guang Yao People's meeting exchanged glances.

"How do we view the Guang Yao Civilization and the An Yao Civilization?"

"Is there a need to communicate with the Guang Yao Civilization and the An Yao Civilization?"

As Li Shuang spoke, different opinions immediately arose in the conference room.

Some said they could try to make contact.

Others said to just go straight to war.

Still others suggested finding the home planets of both civilizations first, as the coordinates revealed by the Guang Yao Civilization would certainly not be those of their home planet.

The conference room was in a commotion for a while, and eventually all eyes turned to Yang Dian.

Only he could make the decision here.

Seeing this, Yang Dian pondered for a moment before his gaze fell upon the Niu Ru Ren.

He still preferred the Niu Niu.

After all, a kind race like the Niu Niu is not common in the Universe.

Even if they might turn dark after the invasion, Yang Dian was prepared to help them first:

"Clear out the Guang Yao People on Niu Ru Ren Star and save the Niu Ru Ren."
