304: Abnormal area

Qian Youxian left.

He left with a look of doubt about life.

He hadn't expected that simply taking people out to sea would lead him to encounter an Awakened.

Recalling his interactions with Yang Dian, he breathed a sigh of relief.

"Good thing I didn't say anything I shouldn't have."

As for male models, female models, and rich women?

That's common knowledge; there's nothing that can't be said.

On the other side.

After watching the yacht disappear, Yang Dian snapped his fingers.

The next moment, a spatial curtain unfolded, and the Little Orca, now 30 meters long, let out a confused cry upon seeing the sudden light curtain.

Only when it saw Yang Dian behind the curtain did it joyfully flap its wings, fly through the curtain to Yang Dian's side, and begin circling him, making "woo woo" sounds.

The Little Black Cat provided a timely translation:

"Human, the big fish says it wants to eat something delicious."

"Human, Meow also wants to eat."

Yang Dian scratched the Little Black Cat's chin, then sat cross-legged on the Little Orca's head, taking out a heaven and earth treasure and dividing it into three portions.

"Here ~"

He put one portion each into the mouths of the Little Black Cat and the Little Orca, then put the last portion into his own mouth before pointing below the sea surface:

"Orca, go down there."

Having tasted the sweetness, the Little Orca let out a joyful cry and plunged into the sea.

Then, an exceptionally lively underwater world entered Yang Dian's sight.

Schools of fish, shrimp, and crabs constantly in battle… everywhere, fish pecking, and even sea snakes preparing to peck Yang Dian after seeing him… Sea lizards nearly five meters long, seemingly evolving towards Godzilla… Jellyfish bumping their heads together, seemingly cute collisions, but in their minds, they were on the verge of spilling their brains… Below 30 meters from the surface, within a 300-meter radius, the sea seemed to have become an immense battlefield.

Anyone who entered this area would fight as soon as their gazes met.

However, the nearshore area within 30 meters, or beyond the 300-meter radius, was like any other sea area.

Fish swam leisurely, and seaweed swayed with the current, with no abnormalities whatsoever.

"So, this is the place?"

Muttering to himself, Yang Dian first patted the Little Orca, who, upon seeing something fun, wanted to rush down to play, then opened his wristband and called up a monitoring satellite.

After inspecting and scanning the sea area he was in, the result showed no abnormalities.

"Technology is indeed not omnipotent."

Muttering to himself, Yang Dian exited the satellite System and clicked into the nano-electronic insect monitoring network.

Nanotechnology had only recently been formally applied, and nano-electronic insects were the result of the Nano Research Institute's work just a month prior.

Therefore, the number of nano-electronic insects produced was not large, and most of them had been deployed to the Alien Planet.

As for Earth, although some had been deployed, most were in North America, Northwest Europe, or other territories of forces that might affect Huaxia.

The number of nano-electronic insects deployed in their own territory was actually the fewest.

After confirming that there were no nano-electronic insects in this sea area, Yang Dian took out a silver metal box and pressed a series of buttons on it to activate it.

A moment later, three wisps of smoke rose from the box, merging into the seawater to form three monitoring networks.

Then, an alarm sounded on Yang Dian's wristband.

He opened it to see.

Indeed, an abnormality had been detected 10 nautical miles east of Sanya Shidao, which was his current location.

A moment later, the nano-electronic insects that had just entered the area 30 meters below the sea surface instantly lost contact, and the alarm's intensity increased by two Ranks.

It escalated from requiring investigators to investigate the abnormality to requiring street-level combat power to lead intelligent mechanical teams and Awakened teams to explore.

"So, abnormalities can still be monitored."

"But this place seems to be like other dimensional rifts and spatial nodes; it also blocks signals or destroys electronic devices, which is why the satellite couldn't detect the abnormality?"

Shaking his head and not dwelling on it too much, Yang Dian patted the Little Orca after confirming there was no danger.

The Little Orca, unable to restrain itself any longer, swung its tail and rushed to the five-meter-long sea lizard, starting to butt it with its head to play.

As it butted, the Little Orca's eyes began to turn yellow, and Yang Dian could clearly feel wisps of anger accumulating in its heart.

"Orca! Control your emotions."

The Little Orca let out two low cries and rushed to the surface, then hovered at a low altitude, not daring to go back into the water.

"Human, the big fish says it's scary down there."

Patting the Little Orca's head to comfort him, Yang Dian looked at the Little Black Cat sitting on his shoulder:

"Aren't you scared?"

The Little Black Cat raised its head.

"Human, Meow is not scared."

Saying that, it rubbed against Yang Dian's neck again:

"As long as Human is here, Meow is not scared."

Yang Dian scratched the Little Black Cat's chin:

"You little green tea cat."

After saying that, Yang Dian ignored the meowing Little Black Cat, who was saying it wasn't a green tea cat but a Little Black Cat, and after getting up from the orca's head, he jumped into the sea:

"Orca, wait for me up here."

As Yang Dian disappeared below the surface, the Little Orca circled in the sky a few times, let out a few cries, then steeled its heart, folded its wings, and plunged into the sea, following Yang Dian.

Hearing the movement, Yang Dian turned his head and smiled at the Little Orca, who, though a bit timid, still followed him closely, wanting to advance and retreat with him.

"Not bad, you haven't disgraced the name Orca."

Patting the Little Orca's head, Yang Dian sat cross-legged on its head again:

"Let's go down!"

"Awooo ~"

The Little Orca let out several high-pitched, prolonged cries and plunged back into the anomalous area.

Having learned its lesson, it no longer sought trouble with other marine creatures, simply swimming downwards in the direction Yang Dian pointed.

Continuing downwards.

Until they entered a trench embedded in the seabed, instinctively avoided by other marine creatures, the feeling of passing through a spatial passage once again surfaced in his mind…
