Shen Yan tapped the table with his finger and said, "Of course I understand what you mean, Mr. He. How about this: if you are truly short on cash, you can buy out all of your early investments with me for five million."

He Yunri's expression changed.

"What do you mean by that?"

Shen Yan replied with a smile, "It means something very simple. You can get the money early, but if you want to receive the money ahead of schedule, you must sign an agreement with me to void the previous contract."

Previously, He Yunri had invested twenty million with him and signed a profit-sharing agreement.

The content stipulated that once the project took off, he would have to give He Yunri thirty percent of the monthly profits.

What he meant now was that if He Yunri wanted to take five million early, he must sign a contract voiding the previous agreement.

In other words, this five million was to buy out the money from the initial twenty million investment.

"No, five million is too little. If that's the case, then you must return the entire twenty million to me."

Hearing this, Shen Yan smiled and shook his head.

"Mr. He, our company doesn't have that much money right now."

"The five million you just mentioned is all the money we have on the company's books and in my personal account."

As he spoke towards the end, the smile on Shen Yan's face had completely vanished.

He Yunri was still stubbornly arguing.

Shen Yan, however, was too lazy to pay attention to him anymore.

"Say whatever you want. In short, if you think the plan I proposed is feasible, then have someone draft a two-copy agreement. Once it's signed, I'll have someone transfer the money to your card."
