"Over here!"

Chen Guangke raised his hand and waved at Shen Yan, who was walking into the small restaurant.

Shen Yan walked toward him while knitting his handsome brows.

"Why did you choose this place for dinner?"

Chen Guangke curled his lips and replied, "It's good enough to have food at all; why are you being so picky?"

Shen Yan clicked his tongue.

"Didn't I tell you to pick a nice place? What is this?"

Chen Guangke waved his hand impatiently.

"Alright, stop nagging me. Let me tell you, don't look down on this place just because it's small; their food is actually delicious."

"Look! The lobby is packed with customers!"

Shen Yan sighed.

He was thinking: Why is Chen Guangke's brain like the stars—sometimes there and sometimes not?

"Did you forget what we're supposed to talk to Liu Hui about today?"

Hearing Shen Yan's question, Chen Guangke replied smoothly, "I'm not an idiot. How could I forget what we're supposed to talk to Liu Hui about? Aren't we here to talk to her about the company..."

At this point, Chen Guangke suddenly paused.

"I really didn't do it on purpose. I thought since Wu Ya is finally treating us to a meal, I should find a place that isn't too expensive but tastes good."

"Are they your colleagues from Gu Corporation?"

"Who else would they be? It's not like I'm working two jobs."

Chen Guangke guiltily looked away, cleared his throat, and said, "I'll book another restaurant right now..."

Shen Yan replied expressionlessly, "No, we're leaving."

"You've already finished eating?"

"Don't meddle in adult business, kid. Go eat your food; we're leaving."

With that, he led Chen Guangke out of the small restaurant.

Before leaving, Chen Guangke didn't forget to wave to Shen Ya.

Shen Yan and Chen Guangke sat in the private room, quietly waiting for the third person to arrive.

Wu Ya walked into the room carrying her bag.

"What is wrong with you two? Didn't you say we were eating at a small restaurant? Why are we here now? You made me waste an extra half hour."

She said as she pulled out a chair and sat down.

Shen Yan didn't explain; he just fixed his gaze on Chen Guangke.

Chen Guangke knew this was entirely his fault and took the initiative to explain, "This has nothing to do with Old Shen. I accidentally forgot what the three of us were going to discuss and set the location at a very crowded small restaurant."

Wu Ya: "...Is your brain filled with toilet water?"

Chen Guangke pursed his lips. "I already know I was wrong..."

Seeing that Wu Ya wanted to say more, Shen Yan tapped his finger on the table and said to her, "Alright, didn't you want to tell us about the Branch Company?"
