515: Chapter 51 He's More Than Just a Capitalist

"Mr. Shen, why... is it us?" she asked, voicing the doubt in her heart.

"Because you have dreams, and I have the ability to realize them," Shen Yan said. "Besides, I need you too."

Just then.

A hurried figure ran to the entrance of the coffee shop.

"Sister Xue! Are you alright!"

The person who arrived was a young man in his mid-twenties, wearing a plaid shirt with slightly messy hair and an anxious expression.

He saw Xia Xue and breathed a sigh of relief, only then noticing Shen Yan opposite her.

He immediately became vigilant.

"Who is this?"

"Jiang Ye, don't get agitated." Xia Xue quickly introduced, "This is Mr. Shen. He is the one who found our blueprints."

Jiang Ye froze for a moment, then reacted, his eyes becoming complicated.

"Hello, Mr. Shen." He nodded politely.

"Jiang Ye is the core algorithm Engineer of our team," Xia Xue introduced.

"Sit down." Shen Yan gestured.

Jiang Ye pulled out a chair and sat, but his body remained tense.

Xia Xue briefly recounted Shen Yan's proposal to Li Ye.

After hearing it, Jiang Ye's brow furrowed tightly.

"Merge into your company?" His tone carried a hint of resistance. "Then will our 'Dawn' still belong to us?"

"The technology patents, core code, and ownership all belong to your team," Shen Yan said. "I only want the final product."

"Nice words," Jiang Ye sneered. "Capitalists are all profit-seeking. You can talk a great game today, but once we join, won't we just be at your mercy?"

"Jiang Ye!" Xia Xue hissed to stop him.

"Sister Xue, don't be fooled by him! I've seen plenty of these rich people!" Jiang Ye's emotions were running high. "They don't understand technology at all; they only think about how to package our hard work into a story to raise money in the stock market!"

Shen Yan did not get angry.

He simply looked at Jiang Ye and calmly asked a question.

"Are you still using the GTS-7 series photoresist from Country M?"

Jiang Ye's expression froze.

"The latest A9 photoresist, under the ultraviolet band, its diffraction effect will cause the critical dimension uniformity to drop by more than three percent. Have you considered using quantum tunneling composite algorithms to pre-distort compensate the light source?"

Shen Yan's words struck Jiang Ye like a bolt of lightning.

He was completely stunned.

These were the most core, cutting-edge, and troublesome technical bottlenecks in their laboratory!

This capitalist, whom he had just called 'someone who doesn't understand technology,' had actually seen through it in one sentence!

What's more, he even proposed a solution that Jiang Ye had never heard of, yet seemed to point directly to the core of the problem!

"You... how do you know..." Jiang Ye stammered.

Xia Xue also looked at Shen Yan in shock.

She had originally thought that what Shen Yan valued was just their team's concept and prospects.

She never expected Shen Yan's understanding of the technology to be so profound.

"Quantum tunneling composite algorithm... Is this... is this possible?" Jiang Ye muttered, already completely immersed in the world of technology.

"Why wouldn't it be possible?" Shen Yan countered. "As long as there is enough computing power to support it, simulating and correcting the trajectory of photons billions of times can generate the optimal compensation model."

Jiang Ye's eyes grew brighter and brighter.

He slapped his thigh hard.

"That's right! How did I not think of that! We can use heterogeneous integration to package the neural network processor and the main CPU together, allowing the AI to calculate compensation data in real-time! This way..."

He stopped halfway through his sentence.

He looked at Shen Yan, his eyes filled with shock and disbelief.

Xia Xue's heart sank.

She understood.

Shen Yan wasn't just making empty promises.

He truly understood.

And perhaps, he understood even more deeply than their entire team.

If such a person were to fully support them...

'Dawn' might truly see the dawn.

Xia Xue took a deep breath.

She stood up.

"Mr. Shen, this is not something I can decide alone."

"I need to discuss it with everyone on the team."

She looked at Shen Yan, a trace of solemnity in her eyes.

"If you don't mind, I would like to invite you to visit our studio."

Shen Yan's gaze shifted from Jiang Ye's fervent face to Xia Xue's.

"Okay."

He uttered two simple words.

Without any hesitation.

Xia Xue's eyes instantly became incomparably firm.

She bowed deeply to Shen Yan.

"Mr. Shen, please follow us."

The studio was in an old factory building.

The wall plaster was peeling, revealing the red bricks underneath, and the air was filled with a mixed smell of machine oil and dust.

In stark contrast to the dilapidated exterior was the scene inside.

It was spotless.

The huge space was divided into several areas; indicator lights on servers blinked quietly in the corner, and several old pieces of equipment were polished until they gleamed, connected by dense wiring.

The most conspicuous feature was the giant whiteboard that took up almost an entire wall in the center.

It was covered with various formulas, code, and architecture diagrams.

Six people were gathered around the whiteboard, fiercely debating something.

Their voices were kept low but were full of tension, as if the center of the entire world was the difficult problem written on that whiteboard.

Shen Yan and the other two entered very quietly.

No one noticed them.

"No! This power consumption model has a problem! The thermal density will directly breach the PDK threshold!"

"Then what do you suggest? Should we revert to the 7-nanometer process to re-verify?"

"Old He, we can't be so conservative! Sister Xia's thinking is correct, we just need to find a balance point!"

"Balance point? You say it so easily! If we can't find that point, half a year of our hard work will have to be thrown away!"

The man called 'Old He' was a man around fifty, with graying hair and a pair of high-prescription glasses; the look behind the lenses was as sharp as an eagle's.

He held a red marker and drew a heavy cross on the whiteboard.

The atmosphere instantly solidified.

Xia Xue glanced at Shen Yan, a hint of apology on her face.

Shen Yan, however, just watched quietly, without the slightest impatience in his eyes.

He appreciated this purity.

The obsession and fervor of being born for technology.

Xia Xue took a deep breath and clapped her hands.

The crisp applause broke the frozen air.

Six pairs of eyes immediately looked over.

With displeasure at being interrupted and confusion.

When they saw Shen Yan behind Xia Xue, their gazes instantly became vigilant.

"Sister Xue, who is this?" Old He pushed up his glasses, his tone unfriendly.

"Let me introduce you," Xia Xue walked forward. "This is Mr. Shen."

"Shen Yan?"

"The Shen Yan who created janus?"

A low gasp came from the crowd.

"Hello everyone." Shen Yan nodded, acknowledging them.
