"What about that project?"

The two walked into the company while chatting.

As soon as they entered, the receptionist approached Shen Yan and said, "Mr. Shen, a guest has been waiting for you for quite some time."

"Is it someone looking for me?"

With that, he turned to the receptionist and asked, "Where is the guest who is looking for me?"

The receptionist replied, "She is in the lounge next to your office, sir."

Shen Yan nodded, indicating he had heard. Immediately after, he went upstairs to the lounge next to his office.

The door opened, and the guest seated inside turned to look at Shen Yan.

"You're finally back?"

Hearing the question, Shen Yan looked back at Mei Jinning, who was still dressed in a qipao and high heels, and asked, "Why are you here?"

Mei Jinning didn't immediately answer his question. She stood up, walked in front of Shen Yan, and asked him with a playful expression, "Aren't you going to invite me into your office for a seat?"

He turned and left the lounge, leading Mei Jinning into his office, where he poured her a cup of tea.

"Go ahead, what exactly did you come here to see me about?"

Mei Jinning picked up her teacup and took a sip. She said to Shen Yan, "I heard you rejected that old man?"

He had just rejected Gu Hui over the phone, and right after, Mei Jinning knew about it.

When she finished speaking,
