"I'm here to meet someone. The person who booked the table is named Gu Mingming."

Hearing this, the Waitress immediately bowed low and said to him, "Very well, I will take you there now."

With that, she turned and led the way.

Not long after, the Waitress brought him to the door of a private room.

"Mr. Gu is inside."

Shen Yan nodded, reached out, pushed open the door to the private room, and stepped inside.

Gu Mingming stood up and walked towards Shen Yan, leading him to sit next to Gu Hui.

Gu Mingming smiled and replied to Shen Yan, "It was supposed to be a private dinner for just the two of us, but my grandfather happened to have nothing to do, so I asked him to come listen to the project of the company I invested in."

Shen Yan gave a half-smile and remained silent.

He wasn't foolish enough to believe Gu Mingming's stated reason.

The reason Gu Hui was there was most likely due to their encounter in the car last time.

Thinking this, he turned to Gu Hui and introduced himself, "Let me introduce myself. My name is Shen Yan, and I am the boss of Fuchen Enterprise."

Gu Hui smiled, nodded at him, and extended his hand, "I am Gu Hui, Chairman of the Gu Group."

Seeing the two of them introducing themselves, Gu Mingming was stunned for a moment. He hadn't expected that these two hadn't even exchanged names yet.

While he was still dazed, Shen Yan spoke again.

"Have you ordered yet? If not, let's call the Waitress over."

Hearing this, Gu Hui immediately stood up again, turned around, and went to call the Waitress.

Seeing Gu Mingming bustling about, Shen Yan lowered his eyelids, deep in thought.

He had the Waitress stand by to listen while handing the menu in his hand to Gu Hui.
