236: Chapter 236 Nazar's Invitation

Half an hour later, the individual shots of the two, along with the joint shots of both of them with Nick Cheung, were all finished.

Chen Fan watched the rough cut of the post-production footage on-site for a while longer. After confirming that the general direction was correct, he stood up and left the studio.

When he returned to the company, it was already past 11 in the morning.

Chen Fan entered his office, tossed his car keys onto the desk, and leaned back in his chair to rest with his eyes closed for a while.

Half an hour later, he got up and walked out of his office, preparing to go get some lunch.

Just as he reached the corner of the hallway, he saw Wang Jing walking over with Naza, who was pulling a suitcase.

Naza had already changed out of that armor and was wearing a loose white T-shirt and light blue jeans, with a pair of white sneakers on her feet and her hair hanging loose over her shoulders.

Although she had removed her makeup, her skin was still glowing white, and her features were still unbelievably exquisite. Her bare-faced appearance actually added a sense of cleanliness and purity compared to when she was wearing makeup.

Chen Fan found it a bit strange. Wasn't the commercial already finished? Why was Naza still coming to the company at this time?

"Mr. Chen." Seeing Chen Fan, Wang Jing quickened her pace, walked over, and lowered her voice, "Naza said she doesn't have anywhere to go right now and wanted to stay at the company for a while, so I brought her over."

Chen Fan glanced at Naza. Naza smiled at him, her smile carrying a hint of embarrassment.

Chen Fan looked at Wang Jing again. There was a sense of helplessness in Wang Jing's expression, but there was also something unspoken deep in her eyes.

This girl was so pretty, and her relationship with the boss seemed quite close, so she thought about it and decided to bring her to the company anyway.

In case something really happened in the future, she would be in a better position to handle it.

"Alright, I understand." Chen Fan nodded without saying much more. He turned to look at Naza, "Let's go, come sit in my office for a while."

Naza let out an 'Mm,' and obediently followed behind Chen Fan as they walked toward the office.

Wang Jing tactfully didn't follow them and turned back to her own workstation.

Pushing open the office door, Naza walked in and curiously looked around.

"Make yourself at home." Chen Fan walked behind his desk, pulled out his swivel chair and sat down, then pointed to the sofa opposite him.

Naza let out an 'Mm,' and sat down on the sofa.

"Are you thirsty?" Chen Fan took out a disposable cup and poured her a cup of hot water.

"Thank you, Mr. Chen." Naza took the water and took a gentle sip.

Chen Fan sat on the sofa next to her, looked at her, and asked the question that had been on his mind: "The commercial is already finished. Why didn't you go back to the hotel, and instead came to my company?"

Naza held the cup, her eyes carrying a hint of embarrassment: "I only played for one day last time I came to Chang'an, and there were so many places I didn't have time to visit. I figured since I was here anyway, I'd stay for two more days before going home to focus on preparing for the college entrance exam."

She paused, then added: "But the hotel won't let me check in until the evening. I don't have anywhere to stay if I go now, so I thought I'd come to the company to sit for a while... and check into the hotel later."

Chen Fan nodded and asked again: "What about Reba? Didn't she come with you?"

Naza shook her head: "She's still in school. She originally took leave to come for the shoot, and she had to rush back as soon as it was finished. She took a taxi to the airport right after we finished, saying she was afraid of missing her flight."

Chen Fan acknowledged this and didn't ask any more questions.

"Alright, then you can just stay here." Chen Fan leaned back against the sofa, his tone casual, "I'm going to go get some lunch in a bit—"

He stopped halfway through his sentence, suddenly pausing as if he had remembered something. He turned to look at Naza: "You haven't eaten yet, have you?"

Naza was taken aback, a faint blush appearing on her face, and she nodded somewhat embarrassedly.

She really hadn't had a chance to eat anything from the morning shoot until now. She hadn't felt hungry while in the studio, but now that Chen Fan asked, her stomach was indeed a bit hungry.

Chen Fan watched her look so hungry yet too embarrassed to say so, his lips curled up slightly, and he stood up: "Let's go, I'll treat you to a meal."

Naza looked up, her eyes brightening, but then she waved her hand in embarrassment: "No, no need, Mr. Chen, that's too much trouble for you..."

"It's no trouble." Chen Fan picked up the car keys from the desk, his tone plain but firm, "You're here alone and unfamiliar with the place; I can't let you wait for your hotel check-in on an empty stomach. Let's go, what do you want to eat?"

"Anything is fine." Naza stood up, placed the water bottle on the coffee table, and followed Chen Fan toward the door.

Naza followed behind Chen Fan, walked through the hallway, and entered the elevator.

The elevator descended to the first floor, and Chen Fan pushed open the glass door, leading her toward the parking lot.

After arriving at the parking lot.

Chen Fan pressed the car key, and the headlights of the black Porsche parked in the corner flashed twice, emitting a "beep-beep" unlocking sound.

Naza's gaze was immediately drawn to it.

Chen Fan opened the trunk. Naza hurriedly dragged her suitcase over. Chen Fan took it, put it inside, and closed the trunk lid.

"Get in." Chen Fan opened the driver's side door and looked back at her.

Naza let out an 'Oh,' withdrew her gaze, opened the passenger door, and bent over to sit inside.

Naza sat in the passenger seat, her gaze moving from the dashboard to the center console, then to the sunroof overhead, and finally landing on the shield-shaped emblem in the center of the steering wheel.

"Mr. Chen, is this a porsche cayenne?"

"Yes." Chen Fan nodded.

Naza stared at that shield-shaped emblem for several seconds, then said with a look of longing: "This car is quite nice. I want to buy one when I earn money in the future."

Chen Fan turned his head to glance at her but didn't respond.

He didn't expect that a big star who was infinitely glorious in his previous life would be interested in a Porsche at this moment; this feeling was quite strange.

In his previous life, she had been radiant on the red carpet, calm and composed in front of the camera, and always traveled by nanny van. What kind of luxury car hadn't she seen?

But now, sitting in the passenger seat, she was like a completely different person from the female star adored by thousands in Chen Fan's memories.

Chen Fan withdrew his gaze, started the car, gently pressed the accelerator, and the car smoothly slid out of the parking space.

He took Naza to a high-end restaurant in the High-tech Zone.

The elevator doors opened, and a waiter in a black suit was already waiting at the entrance. He bowed slightly and led them to a window seat.

The waiter handed the menu to Chen Fan.

Chen Fan took the menu and opened it. While looking through it, he asked Naza casually: "Do you eat foie gras?"

Naza blinked: "Foie gras?"

"Yes."

"Sure." Naza nodded, her voice not loud, but one could tell she was already starting to look forward to this meal.

"Let's also have the matsutake mushroom and fish maw soup; their soup is quite good." Chen Fan turned a page and continued ordering, "Black truffle baked lobster, braised sea cucumber with scallion—are you used to eating these?"

"That's fine, Mr. Chen." Naza placed her hands on her knees and answered obediently, like a good student listening attentively to a lecture.

Chen Fan turned another page and continued ordering.

Gillardeau oysters, Australian Wagyu beef, white asparagus, truffle mashed potatoes—dish after dish, he quickly ordered over a dozen courses, and also ordered a portion of lobster soup with rice as the main course.

He closed the menu and handed it to the waiter, then added: "For dessert, we'll have the soufflé, two servings."

Although the dishes at this restaurant tasted excellent, the portion size of each dish was not large.

Therefore, Chen Fan ordered a lot; with a dozen dishes for two people, it was just right so there would be no waste, and they wouldn't feel overly stuffed.

The waiter noted them down one by one, bowed slightly, and withdrew.
