295: Chapter 295 Chen Fan: I'm a little scared to sleep alone.
At ten o'clock at night, there was a sudden knock at the door.
Su Mian got out of bed and walked over to open the door.
Chen Fan stood outside, wearing a pair of loose boxers and a white tank top, his body carrying the dampness of a recent shower and the scent of body wash.
Su Mian's gaze lingered for a moment on his exposed arms and calves, her voice tinged with a hint of unnatural nervousness: "What is it?"
Chen Fan stood at the doorway, his expression looking surprisingly serious: "Sister Su Mian, I'm a bit scared sleeping alone. Can I sleep with you tonight?"
Su Mian's eyes widened, as if she couldn't believe what she had just heard.
Scared sleeping alone? How could a grown man like him have the nerve to say something like that?
She opened her mouth to say something, but swallowed the words back.
Su Mian's mind raced for a few seconds. Finally, with her ears burning, she stepped aside, her voice so soft it was almost inaudible: "Then you... come in."
The corners of Chen Fan's mouth curled up slightly, a fleeting expression, before he entered and turned to gently close the door.
After getting into bed, Chen Fan hugged Su Mian from behind. Su Mian's body stiffened visibly, and she whispered: "Don't..."
Chen Fan's voice came from behind her ear, deep and reassuring: "Don't worry, Sister Su Mian, I won't do anything. I'm not lying to you."
Hearing this, Su Mian's tense body slowly relaxed. She stopped resisting and let Chen Fan hold her from behind.
She could feel his warm breath on the skin of her neck, which was a bit ticklish, making her feel uneasy but unable to bring herself to push him away.
The room was quiet for a long while, with only the sound of their breathing intertwined.
Su Mian gradually let her guard down, even feeling that her earlier nervousness was unnecessary—he was truly just holding her and doing nothing else.
However, she had underestimated Chen Fan.
With a soft beauty in his arms, how could Chen Fan really do nothing?
He tightened his arms slightly, then turned her entire body around so she was facing him.
Before Su Mian could react, he had already lowered his head and kissed her.
Su Mian let out a "Mm," her hands pressing against his chest in an attempt to push him away, but her strength was nowhere near enough.
Chen Fan's kiss was deeper and more forceful than the one on the Ferris wheel during the day, giving her absolutely no chance to catch her breath.
At the same time, his hands were not idle, sliding inside the hem of her pajamas.
Su Mian shuddered, her hands gripping his shoulders to stop him, but her strength couldn't hold him back at all.
A few minutes later, she felt a chill on her body; her pajamas had already been tossed to the foot of the bed. She shrank under the quilt like a lamb waiting to be slaughtered, her face flushed so red it looked like it was about to bleed.
Chen Fan hovered above her, his breathing heavy, his gaze fixed on her flushed face.
Su Mian turned her head away, not daring to look at him, her chest still heaving as she panted, tinged with a hint of shyness: "You... didn't you say you wouldn't do anything..."
"Sister Su Mian, just pretend I didn't mean what I said. Woof, woof, woof."
Su Mian was amused by his shamelessness and giggled. With this smile, her eyes curved, the corners of her mouth turned up, and her face flushed red, looking incredibly charming.
Chen Fan did not hesitate and kissed her again.
The bedside lamp had been knocked off at some point, and the room darkened, with only a sliver of moonlight filtering through the gap in the curtains, falling onto the edge of the bed.
A few minutes later, enchanting music drifted through the darkness.
...
The next morning, Chen Fan woke up from his sleep. Looking at Su Mian sleeping soundly in his arms, his eyes were filled with a sense of accomplishment.
The morning light filtered through the gap in the curtains, falling on Su Mian's slightly turned face. Her eyelashes cast a small shadow under her eyelids, and her breathing was even and long.
Her hair was spread out on the pillow, with a few strands resting on his arm, tickling him.
Chen Fan didn't move, just lay on his side watching her.
He had originally thought Su Mian had a great figure—even when wearing loose clothes, her curves were visible, but that was a subtle, covered kind of beauty.
It wasn't until last night that he discovered Su Mian's figure was exceptionally good. There wasn't an ounce of excess fat where she should be slim, and her curves were perfectly voluptuous. She was the most comfortable girl Chen Fan had ever held.
A mature beauty's face paired with a devilish figure, yet her personality was soft and gentle, speaking in whispers, and she rarely resisted when bullied.
Chen Fan stared at her sleeping face, feeling like he had truly struck gold.
He raised his other hand and gently tucked a stray lock of hair behind her ear. Su Mian hummed in a daze, then slowly opened her eyes.
She first looked blankly at his chest, stunned for two seconds, then slowly looked up to meet Chen Fan's smiling gaze.
"Awake?"
"Mm." Su Mian nodded.
Chen Fan reached out and brushed the stray hair away from her face: "Does it still hurt?"
Su Mian shook her head, then nodded, saying in a soft, gentle tone: "You lied to me. Last night you promised you wouldn't do anything."
Chen Fan leaned in with a smile, pulling her into his arms: "It's my fault. Who told you to be so beautiful, Sister Su Mian?"
Su Mian didn't speak, just hugged Chen Fan and snuggled quietly into his arms.
Chen Fan lowered his head and kissed her forehead: "You're not feeling well, so just stay home and rest today. I'll take you back to school tomorrow."
"Mm." Su Mian nodded.
After a while, Chen Fan gently patted her back: "Alright, get up and wash up."
Su Mian didn't move, remaining nestled in his arms.
After several seconds, she finally looked up, blinking at him, her voice soft and sweet, with a hint of a spoiled tone: "Hold me."
Chen Fan was stunned.
He had known Su Mian for so long, and she had always been the quiet, reserved type who rarely initiated requests. Let alone acting spoiled, even a slightly proactive approach from her was rare.
He hadn't expected that after last night, Su Mian would actually act spoiled toward him.
He bent down, one hand passing under her shoulders and the other supporting the back of her knees, and lifted her out of the quilt.
Su Mian let out an "Ah," reflexively wrapping her arms around his neck, hanging on him like a koala, her face buried in the crook of his neck, her voice airy: "Slow down..."
After washing up, Chen Fan took Su Mian downstairs to have breakfast.
As soon as they returned home, Chen Fan started changing his shoes and grabbing his keys.
"Stay home and relax. I'm going to the company." Chen Fan tucked his phone and car keys into his pocket. "Call me if you need anything."
Although Su Mian was a bit reluctant to see Chen Fan leave, she nodded.
Seeing her like this, Chen Fan reached out and ruffled her hair: "I'll come back as soon as I finish handling things. If you're bored, play on the computer. The password is my birthday."
"Got it." Su Mian answered obediently, her tone soft, but her eyes still followed him.
